Wow! I was worried at first that the Empire would lose again seeing how Vlandia was winning unstop. But they surprisingly won and gave Vlandia their first defeat. I will be looking forward to a revenge rematch with the Aserai. Long live the Empire!
This has definitely been my favorite match up so far. I play out the scenario over multiple battles and they traded wins roughly 50/50. Still a real close match up!
@@SilanTheTactician you can see they invested into a lot of features my hats are off to them...the ai bots look like they blend in perfectly and calvary breaking the line very realistic physics.
@@eioclementi1355 Vanilla AI is improved some, but most of what you see is a result of the Realistic Battle AI Mod. The push and pull of battle lines and charge cycles of cavalry are all introduced from that mod.

Playing as Vlandia I helped an outnumbered battanian army fight against the empire until they left me on a hill surrounded and captured. We would have won if my elites had lasted but I never noticed the battanians retreat. Just call me Prison Lord!
their cathaphract armour is just too much (as well as legionaries very good too). I think armour is too OP in this game, it was better before the change but too many of a small loud group were complaining so they got buffed af
I think the Empire as a whole is way too overtuned under RBMs settings. I typically don't use the combat module for this reason, as well as it making the early game a horrid grind and ruining all fun in sword or bow playstyles.
@@SilanTheTactician afaik rbm just makes the OP armour even more OP. idk about combat module, havent used it a lot. after trying rbm i quickly realized its not for me

Wow the difference between this and the first game ...this looks incredible
It plays amazingly as well. Really hard to go back to Warband after experiencing Bannerlord combat.

@@SilanTheTactician that's misleading. cavalry also does that with native ai. and pull back troops when waiting for reinforcements.
