Im impressed at how easy the small connector came out of the alternator. around here they can be an SOB to get out due to corrosion, you seem to have the typical oil leak there which probably helped a lot. but tends to kill the alternators.I also noticed in this video that you dont have the rad fan control module on the fan assembly so that is handy. nicely done nice to see good videos on youtube.

HELP!!? I bought a new battery and alternator and had them installed for my 03 Murano. The car started up fine and drove fine for 20 minutes then cut off on me and won’t start unless jumpers are connected. It’ll start with it connected but when you take the cables off, it shuts off immediately. Anything!?!!?! I don’t have money to keep putting in and I need this car

@@ToddGurley-jb8kh sounds like its not charging at all and was just running on battery voltage, I have seen aftermarket rebuild alternators that just dont work right out of the box and also the small pigtail harness with the 2 wires in it should be replaced if corroded or the wires are brittle due to heat and oil from the dipstick or valve cover gasket.

forgot to mention the ground in the wiring diagram is the ground wires on the top bracket of the alternator mounting, I have found considerable voltage drop in the past on these wires so clean them up as routine when replacing the alternators. no idea why they show like that in the wiring diagrams but the OE diagrams are the same.

Sir please reply my murano runs after I jumpstart it then after it runs on the road it stops with the rpm and then it doesn’t go forward or back is it the alternator sir? You think
I changed the battery that’s not the problem
@@rayalatravels It sounds like it could be. If the engine runs for a little while the dies after you jumpstart it then the alternator may not be working.
I have a question so I’ve done all the testing you show, I was only getting light from the yellow and black wire replaced plug still only getting light from yellow/black wire, alternator is a new remanufactured, battery is brand new and battery charging fuse is brand new, all fuses are good. Any ideas
