I’ve always wanted to learn this riff, so I thought what better way then to make it a riff Wednesday so I would have to teach it too!

Hi Thanks forposting the Video tutorial. 1 question and 1 comment. Q. What key does this riff assume the chords are beneath it.
Comment : it would be super helpful to see the riffs (sections ) played. Then played together with the next one and build the sections into whole riff. Maybe even open by playing it all through ...then at the end after teaching the sections. Just my thinking. Thanks so much.!
Hello! The original key of the song is Ab but I believe they tune their guitars down 1/2 and play in A. The chord progression for this part is A -E - F#m - G - D -F.
I do play it through at the beginning but could definitely play it again at the end. Thank you for your feedback!

@karlifrancesmusic Thanks so much for your reply, I really appreciate it. I saw a different tutorial playing this song in what appeared to be regular standard tuning with a capo on 1. Any thoughts about that? I think that would make the Key Bb. Also I did see on review, that you did play through in the beginning😬. My Bad. 🤭
Oh yes! If you play with a capo on the first fret and play in A that would make it Bb. Or if you wanted to keep it in the original key of Ab instead of playing A E F#m G D F you could play G D Em F C Eb ☺️
