This tower is almost similar construction like tower of John EI7BA. With his site you can download all technical information. Link to site: www.qsl.net/ei...
I'm thinking about d.i.y. smth. similar. I should have made the lower part of the mast higher and the tilting part shorter for better balance and better stability of the entire construction. Now the ratio is ~ 3 : 7 + 5 meters (3 m. the lower part from the basement, 7 meters of the upper tilting mast + 5 m extractable end.) This is a very big stretch for the joint and the winch. IMHO it should be a better proportion ~ 5 : 5 + 5 meters extractable. On the other hand - good job. The boom of the quad isn't too short? Little gain of the antenna. Lithuania, LY2BJA
Hello! The boom length of this antenna is sufficient for very effective work. The constructor of this antenna is Jurek SP3GEM. There is more detailed information about this construction at this address: www.scribd.com/doc/287415066/Gem-Quad-Info I have had it since 2004 and I managed to enter 320 DXCC countries. 73!
The mast was built in 2009 and has continued to function until now. About 5 years ago it was painted again and replaced with new guy ropes. The cost of materials in 2009 is around 600 euros.
His green suit matched the green tower on top of green grass. Nice! 💚
Very nice.

@@MedicalService OK.
Excellent job! Nice and clean!
Does each section lock into place or does the cable have to hold them in place constantly? It’s a beautiful tower...
Wondering how the tower has held up over the years, as well as if you have any idea of what your materials cost were?

@@MedicalService thanks!
I like this man. I'd love to see the plan on it. Its just a 2 stage right?

@@MedicalService Thanks! Much appreciated!

of these towers ?

That`s a credit to you mate, very nice indeed.

Well made :-) how is the winch connected so that it does both up and down of telescope AND lowering the complete mast?
Very good job!

Jakich materiałów użyłeś? Chodzi o wymiary profili samego masztu.
Great job. I am looking for information on building one like this as well.
