I definitely love how Isayama continued to advance in the story, in way that turned the series to a completely new "light", in a good way, but unlike a lot of other writers, he didn't retcon or brush-off some story elements, instead, he explored the idea that he began with, and utilized it to his advantage.

There's also Ymir's titan design changing. I think it's safe to say things changed for the anime are Isayama's own retcons, as he always viewed the anime as a correction sheet. Eren is my favorite character since day 1. The thing about isayama's characters is that you can't see them only as a fictional characters, you have to see them as a real person with real personality and feelings (one of the reason why I love this series so much). Only then you can see how passionate, brave, and thoughtful he is. I'm glad people start cheering for him in the last few chapters in manga, said he's changed to be more cool. But for me, he himself is never changed. He only change the method he used from the experiences and knowledge he gained. From a boy ignorance of the world mindlessly charging ahead, to a man who has a better understanding using tactic to reach his aim. But he still eren, someone who's angry that freedom is taken away from him. Someone who wants to protect and liberate everyone around him.
Man, it's getting too long. Just happy that somebody give the appreciation he deserve.

People need to realize the context of Eren’s character before bashing him. He has every right to be angry, or every right to cry. I’ve never thought of him basic. In a world where humanity is set in a cage, there’s always going to be someone who’s urging to get out, and that’s Eren. All the frustration from the Titans and the deaths he’s seen, having to cope with the reality of the world and even juggling the stress of being humanities hope from when he discovered he was a shifter. AND being 15 lmao. Most of us teenagers could barely handle school let alone the AOT universe lol.

People are ignorant. People who truly understand the concept of freedom, only those people can understand Erens character deeply.
These people don't understand what despair does to people. The point where people just can't take anymore. That's how our freedom fighters have fought. Nobody calls them mass massacrist.
The world is always been a hypocrite. In the end people only cares what's important to them. And people have and always will fight for what they believe in. That's how it's always been.
These concepts of right and wrong are just fools talk. Nobody knows what's right and what's wrong.

Isayama's been foreshadowing since day 1. It's very hard to adapt a storyline midway and not create several plot holes along the way, but with aot, there's nothing to fault about the plot when it comes to continuity and consistency. For me, there's nothing to fault about the plot at all.
He must've had the whole thing finished before he released everything or he's actually the Attack Titan and can see the future. I really find it hard to believe that this was all born from one person's brain.

I´m pretty sure the title of the first Chapter is what links Ymir Fritz to Eren. 2000 years ago, titans first appeared so Ymir must´ve lived there. Now it´s kinda obvious Ymir´s soul is still in tact and that she has her own agenda in terms of what should happen because she pulled that revive trick on Zeke. We still don´t know how exactly she can interfere with reality but one can assume that it´s not much since whatever she wants to achieve takes so damn long. The titan shifters have fought against each other for centuries and switched sides all the time so it´s not likely that Ymir controlls who gets the titan powers next.
My theory right now is that Ymir probably didn´t like the way humans have used titan powers to fight all the time so she tried to manipulate humans into being less babaric which wasn´t met with success until she got the Founding Titan´s power to turn those of her own bloodline into pacifists. But because that plan didn´t work out so well, she decided to play it from the other side. If pacifism and walls can´t save humanity, maybe a dreamy young boy with the flame of freedom in his heart might do it. It has always been too ironic that the founder aka the Reiss family basically had the same goal of defying against the outside forces that Eren now has and only could´ve had achieved by f*cking that exact family over.
Now it´s more than likely that Eren´s dream has shown him random events in the future and that one scene from Hannes´ death was probably because it was an event near to Eren´s first Coordinate use, which is a huge thing for the paths that fed Eren´s brain back then. But I´m sure it was because Ymir wanted to set something in motion. Whatever happened to Eren in that episode, it probably wasn´t accidental to a degree, as it must´ve been something of importance to Ymir, adressee of Eren 2000 years after her own era.

A chosen one that isayama didnt reveal yet. And ymir knew someone will live 2000 years from her death, and will save the people of eldia from the curse? Did anyone ever thought about it? Attack on Titan is ephemeral and I'm aware of that, but I'll never be ready for its end, no matter when and how it ends. Somehow it feels like it's too great for me, everytime I re-read it it feels like I could have taken attention to even more details, possible foreshadowings and unique aspects. AoT is maybe the most coherent manga I've read too (an example is Eren developing yet mantaining the same ideology, the same agenda), and Isayama's final circle-composition is going to make everyone understand that everything in the show was planned, what happens in the story isn't happening only for the purpose of that moment, but for the story as a whole, making as I said everything connect as the end.

the way i see it the whole first watch or first read is eren dreaming. then at the end when he wakes up crying from his dream in the first episode or first chapter is him back to where it all started or where he had said dream. you rewatch it/reread it and remember what happens and you try to make sense of it, kind of how when you wake up from a dream yourself and try to remember it. eren is stuck in a loop never being able to change the future while simultaneously reliving the past. he sees everything his future self is gonna do but isn’t willing to change it because he doesn’t know how it would affect his closest friends. if he did he would’ve changed the past but he can’t there’s too much riding on his shoulders. he wants to be free but the bonds he has with his friends are the things holding him back from achieving real freedom.

Maybe the titan powers are an analogy for the chains that keep our reality fated. Eren's goal to wipe out the titans and create freedom might be an analogy for wiping out what keeps us bounded, on a metaphysical level. But maybe, Eren realized that he cannot avoid the fate of the titan powers, because the paths between the Eldian people are representative of how reality works. To you, 2000 years from now is a little too vague for me to come to any big conclusions. Anyways, thats what I think, but really I think it is all too vague to predict, and it must be that way or else we wouldn't be reading the next chapters.

Maybe im commenting a bit late but Its crazy to think that someone has continued the story line for 10 years...And that the many things that we didn't think about in the first chapter/episode links to the whole story line through out the 10 years that Isayama has worked on this master piece. It makes you think with the first chapters name that this whole of a story was thought about since the beginning of Isayamas journey, it is truly amazing that someone is capable to have that big of a creative imagination... Btw keep up this amazing work man, I really got into this story of attack on titan and your doing a really good job of giving out perspectives that we would have missed because of the fact that they are so far back in the story.
