REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING

Delve deep, Miner! Once the Drop Pod releases you into the oppressive darkness, you are on your own. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

the one good upside of bigger mag on the axes is the bigger distance you can gain from the first axe thrown and creat some massiv trails.
Watching in slo-mo, it almost looks like they calculate the vector for the axe knockback like a billiard ball, if you imagine the hitboxes for the axe and the enemy as circles. It feels like it would make more sense to always just do a true knock-back along the vector between the player character and the enemy. EDIT: I guess you'd then have to choose whether the player character's position is at the time of the collision or the time of the throw.
@Idle Cub I think what would be really cool is that the weapon box could give you a weapon from any class in the game, so a pool of every single weapon in Deep Rock.

I got the mini gun on a nade mining build
It feels like the gold/nitra scanners are "only" worth it with mining builds, TNT on nades, terrain on turrets or coil gun. That or pretty high mining speed with like 3-4 g/n scanners.
Truly an axe-iting run
What's crazy is you didn't even have the single best upgrade for the impact axe either and it still did pretty good damage.
You should do a run where you start with the axe and try to get the ammo rig as your first artifact.
It's very obvious they designed the axe to be a support weapon rather than a primary, just like in the original game, but by seeing how most secondary/support weapons can be converted into primaries with the amount of overclocks/unstable ocs I think it would be nice to have a rework of the axe so while it works as a support weapon out of the box, it can be turned into a primary with some new OCs.
If they intended it to be a support weapon, it would be nice if they didn't make Strong Armed start with it.
