It's so bad. And the 10 favourites thing is terrible. If you favourite a specific attachment that's only available on that one weapon, it fills up one of your 10 attachments for all weapons in that class. So you essentially have less slots, and do you think I can be arsed to try go through all those individual weapons attachments to unfavourite those specific attachments? No. It just annoys me every time. Tbf, they have been doing a tonne of qol updates since launch, so I wouldn't be surprised if they change it at some point. Also wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't as it's definitely low on the list in terms of how much it affects your game.
Actually they could just steal the same sort of queue they already use for armory unlocks where your favourites will be at the top, like your active armory unlocks, and when you add a new favourite it bumps the last to the first non favourite attachment slot, like the last item in your armory queue going first in the unqueued list when a new unlock is added to a full list
That zehmn35 compensated flash hider has become one of my favorite muzzles. It completely takes away muzzle flash and smoke and steadies the visual recoil that the gun has. Good on mw2 builds and better on mw3 guns which already has better visual recoil. Makes long range engagements in warzone much easier too

If you hate visual recoil, either use the purifier muzzle, casus muzzle, or compensator flash hider muzzle and pair em with the bruen heavy support grip. Those 3 muzzles are the only attachments that will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce visual recoil. Using them with the bruen heavy support which is the second best but doesn't do as much, will reduce your visual recoil for the majority of weapons. You can test this out on MWII guns to see it work.
The casus and the Zehmn are the most powerful muzzles in the game because of that stat. It turns down the recoil more than the best recoil muzzles but it just doesn't tell you that.
@@gim12345 i mean that the bruen heavy is the second best overall in reducing visual recoil out of every other attachment. The 3 muzzles I mentioned are the 1st best out of every other attachment. Choose either the Casus/purifier if you feel like your gun could use some help with horizontal recoil, or the compensator flash hider if you feel like your gun could use some help with vertical recoil. Either way, those 3 muzzles help with visual recoil significantly.
They need to buff the MWII Suppressors. There's some aesthetically pleasing or previously effective suppressors I like using in MWII that is no longer useable in MWIII since tuning is gone. It takes three ADS attachments to offset the horrible ADS penalties these MWII attachments have.
Tysm! There’s minimal guides on how to make your own custom weapons that are good. All other videos I could find simply provide meta loadouts, rather than info on how you yourself could discover these loadouts by yourself

The Zhemn flash hider also helps with firing aim stability which is huge. It feels like less recoil and feels more controllable compared to the rest of the muzzles that say they control a lot more recoil.
As an avid melee user, it's always funny when other melee users run into me just to get one tapped by the gun butt. Those muzzle attachments are pretty damn fun - especially on Shipment or other small maps.
One thing to add to the benefit of the Zemn compensated flash hider is it also improves firing aim stability. Few other attachments worth noting: 1) Casus Brake - this one became huge in the Warzone community with the Ram meta after the Jak BFB got nerfed. It has an 18% benefit to horizontal recoil and also helps firing aim stability a ton. Don’t let the chart with only 1 green tick for that stat fool you - it helps immensely and IMO is one of the top 2 muzzles to use right now in MP or Warzone Last 2 are a little under the radar: FTAC MSP-98 Handstop: Almost identical recoil stats to the SL Skeletal Vertical Grip except instead of the marginal ADS/STF benefit you get a solid movement/strafe speed buff almost equal to what you get from the DR6 handstop XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop: you get better movement and strafe speed, lower hipfire and tac stance penalties and slightly lower ADS/STF benefit than the DR6. Basically if you want more movement go with that one, if you want more ADS/STF stick with the DR6
I think the XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop is a little overlooked for the DR-6. Not quite as good ADS improvement but better mobility numbers can be nice. I like both and tend to pick between them depending on the gun and playstyle I'm going for.
Honestly it would be better if it was 5-10 favorites for each weapon category would be the best. That way you dont have to worry about attachments with the same name not showing up for different weapon categories. As usual, great video Ace!
Just wanna mention, the Jak BFB muzzle device for some reason only shows up on 5.56 rifles, and nothing else. Let’s make some noise about this problem, for there are many of us who can’t use it on most of our guns.

I play almost exclusively tac stance so the breacher muzzle, corvus laser, and bruen bastion are techically always favorite for me but man I wish they had other tac stance viable options so my guns don't all look half the same.
The Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip is excellent on those guns that have huge amounts of vertical recoil, and it offers Firing Aim Stability as well, excellent on burst guns and on the BP50 (yes, I do think SL skeletal is better for them, but the Bruen Pivot is the best when you're focusing on accuracy).
i dont see the uav ping effect on the jack bfb as a negative, if anything its a positive in some cases against people who stare at their mini map. the recoil control from it is unmatched and frees you up for more handling attachments
This game has a RIDICULOUS amount of attachments haha it’s a tad much but I also kinda like it. It certainly keeps the game fresh for longer. I also like that you don’t see the same two builds on every kill cam….speaking of kill cams, that’s usually how I even notice a new optic etc haha
Their system is busted. I'm shadow banned currently and it's the 3rd time this month. Only had 4 days between bans, mostly did weekly challenges but fried for 2 games after getting the holger aftermarket mod and was banned after a 90-20 game... I don't even have a 2kd because of interstellar and other challenges... what could the flag be outside of mass reports?
Tbh, the attachments on my favorites that Ace mentioned are the Shadowstrike Suppressor alongside a couple of underbarrel attachments consisting of the DR-6 Handstop, Skeletal Vertical grip, the SP angled grip, and the Bruen Bastion angled one for hipfire and tac stance builds. The suppressor that I mentioned has no downside, whereas my favorite underbarrels are a key for ADS times except the SP angled grip that has no stated con to ADS time. When it comes to an optic, I’d say putting the quarters classic reflex in my favorite slot should be a no-brainer. As a result, I considered those MW3 attachments are my must haves when it comes to putting them in the favorites slot.
The jak muzzlebrake on the ak 545 causes a weird visual where your camra moves up but the gun doesnt. Irl that can happen for an overcompensaed gun but in a game its reqlly wierd

Unfortunately, muzzle attachments are treated as separate items if they belong to different gun categories, even if they share the same name. I really wish there were separate favorite slots for each gun.
I am of the same opinion as Ace and many others in that we should have 5 favorites per category. Honestly though I think there is merit in considering just "purging" a bunch of the attachments and removing them from the game. Strictly within the universal categories mentioned in this video though. Some of them are just strictly worse than other options available when you are looking for specific effects.
I don't know why few people pay attention to the wrathguard muzzle brake, as in my experience it is one of the best attachments for reducing recoil and it doesn't penalize ADS time (I prefer it to the purifier muzzle brake, because like it or not, the most annoying type of recoil to control is horizontal recoil and the small increase in vertical recoil does not compare with the decrease in horizontal recoil)
Also, remember that you don't need to level up a certain gun to get the attachment you want to get. Just add it to the armory challanges via gunsmith menu, complete it(usually it takes just 2 wins to unlock an attachment) and you have it.
I think 5 attachment per category for each gun would be sufficient. They could save all that locally and not use up their server space if that was a concern.
Wonder if you could do a video on UI improvement that can be done, like removing unnecessary transitions or changing the attachment list to be 2 tiles high or making some things better in a vertical position than horizontal
It would be nice if they took the duplicate MW2 attachments and put them under a single item that you could then change to look different under the skins option. So if you wanted a certain look, it would just require changing the skin but wouldnt take up 2 extra slots in the menu. They should also just rework all of the MW2 attachments. Maybe even a flat reduction to all the penalties across the board if they don't want to take the time.

Of all the things they should address, balancing MW2 guns would be my #1 prio, such as marksman rifles, they are useless. And ofcourse more favorite options, fav camos, fav operator skins, why isn't it in the game already, it was in 2019 MW
They should just simplify the attachment selection for underbarrel down to 3 or 4 grips types and select the individual as like cosmetics because the difference on each grip is so minor or pointless that some don't ever get used

more favorite slots is always fine but with all these hundreds of attachments to scroll from I would rather have a trash feature of some kind where we can hide attachments from the list, let me hide the several items I know I'll never use... Like I don't need to see 30+ scopes but it's gonna make me scroll through them all anyways.
10% is too much of a penalty for range. The other horizontal only muzzle option is only 5% and the ADS penalty is negligible Also need sakin tread and the other 55%+ total recoil improving muzzle attachment
the low limit on favourite attachements, coustom classes and guns is bs. its 2024 we've long since moved on from PS2 memory cards no need for such tight limits on save data the tablet i am typing this on holds a whole TB and i can expand it up to 2TB. many data center push well in to the petabyte teratory yet they still act like out save data is on a memory card from the start of the centry.
They need to get rid of half the attachments per category since they are never used. The devs should have the data to verify. 5 favorites per would be better. Too many clicks to navigate to any section in this game and to exit to game or home too…way too many.
It should 100% be 5 favourites per category… or just get rid of the 100’s of useless attachments in this game and keep it to a 5-10 max per category. There is no need for more.

I think it's ridiculous that it's 2024 and we have devs giving us horizontal menus when vertical menus are so much better (see MW2019).
It has more to do with the sheer amount of attachments there are. Some feel redundant

The xten ported muzzle is a really good option for recoil control as well almost as good as the JAK BFB. Not available on every weapon though.
There are other muzzles that have the same stats for the other weapons except shotguns and pistols
Xten Ported,Komodo Heavy,TempusGh50 are my go to since launch…Too solid to pass…But Xten Ported is my first prefrence

For the universal attachments at least cause that would save time to have 10 fav attachment choices for each category instead of 10 in total for every gun cause that’s a big L to only choose 10 favourites for every gun

Definitely need more slots how much room would they take up not a lot methinks.
It's so annoying when I accidentally left click and my optics scroll for like 5 whole seconds and then I have to scroll back another 5 seconds to get back to the attachment I need💀 especially when you're in game and you're left standing for 20 seconds

Of all the things they should address, balancing MW2 guns would be my #1 prio, such as marksman rifles, they are useless. And ofcourse more favorite options, fav camos, fav operator skins, why isn't it in the game already, it was in 2019 MW

We do need more favorite slots. If they allowed us to rearrange them at will, all the better.
They should just simplify the attachment selection for underbarrel down to 3 or 4 grips types and select the individual as like cosmetics because the difference on each grip is so minor or pointless that some don't ever get used

I think most people don't even realize there ARE favorite slots. 10 is not any where near enough. 10 per category would be perfect.
I was hoping you would make a list like this! But I’m sad to see that you didn’t favorite my most used under barrel 😢 I forgot what it’s called but it boosts ads speed as well as ads movement speed with only a reduction to hip fire. I use it on almost all my classes for mobility

There are a few attachments where favoriting is broken. Ill favorite it but the game acts like i didnt.
The next title needs some SERIOUS attachment simplification man. Loads of optics is awesome, but do we Really need 62 grips that all do *almost* the same thing?
more favorite slots is always fine but with all these hundreds of attachments to scroll from I would rather have a trash feature of some kind where we can hide attachments from the list, let me hide the several items I know I'll never use... Like I don't need to see 30+ scopes but it's gonna make me scroll through them all anyways.

I would put money on the theory that they MEANT to give 10 Fav Slots per catergory, but just screwed it up.
Thermal sight are the best
10% is too much of a penalty for range. The other horizontal only muzzle option is only 5% and the ADS penalty is negligible
Also need sakin tread and the other 55%+ total recoil improving muzzle attachment
the low limit on favourite attachements, coustom classes and guns is bs. its 2024 we've long since moved on from PS2 memory cards no need for such tight limits on save data the tablet i am typing this on holds a whole TB and i can expand it up to 2TB. many data center push well in to the petabyte teratory yet they still act like out save data is on a memory card from the start of the centry.
I personally think we have too many options for attachments. I miss the simplicity of MW2019. Maybe that’s just me though

They need to get rid of half the attachments per category since they are never used. The devs should have the data to verify. 5 favorites per would be better. Too many clicks to navigate to any section in this game and to exit to game or home too…way too many.
