Dos 3 grandes álbuns de Shangaan Disco, Madala é o mais estranho, e, provavelmente o melhor deles. É Shangaan Disco, mas não é um álbum pomposo, e as músicas parecem mais tradicionais, folclóricas, do que propriamente músicas de discoteca. E a voz sinistra e o mau canto de Khazamula acentuam ainda mais a estranheza do álbum.
É um álbum surpreendente, maravilhoso a cada música que passa. Portentoso! Álbum que realmente não tem música má, e que não fecha com remixes ou instrumentais como éra prática dos artistas de Shangaan Disco no início dos anos 1990. Aliás, fecha brilhantemente com a magika "Nitlagenleini Nghoma".
