    This made me cry.. I have always loved that painting so much. 😢 I pray that they get it back.

      Thank you, Michele. I'm the pianist for the Mass in Mescalero and I'm still shocked that it was literally taken under cover of the night. I had just finished a short film before it's dissppearance, ironically about Buffy Sainte-Marie. It was just discovered that the 60's folk singer was pretending to be Native American her entire career. The film here on my uTube channel, _The Acoustic Rabbit Hole_ is called:
      "Buffy Sainte-Marie: The lie that was never told."
