- McIntosh County commissioners are expected to vote on potential changes to Sapelo Island's zoning code. Gullah Geechee people "indigenous" to the coastal Georgia island say current zoning protections, put in place nearly 30 years ago, keep their community intact.

This is terrible. Leave these residents alone that they may live peacefully. What resources do they have to relocate or rebuild? Probably not enough. Leave them alone; officials with $ signs for pupils. This is not right.
