- I have been going on so many trips lately, and this is my longest trip yet visiting Tokyo Japan so in this video I want to go over all of the tech that I pack in my bag for trips to show you how I get my work done, how I power my devices, and how I'm able to survive a 14 hour plane ride entertained the entire time.

Anker Cube is a really nice and robust option for travelling even with the full Apple ecosystem. It has the MagSafe, AirPods, and watch charger, plus you could use the usb c for iPads and macs. Feels really durable too.

I loved my time in Japan when I worked with Yamaha. If you want to increase your history knowledge, spend time in Kyoto, once the capital of Japan on the island of Honshu. Beautiful city.
First off, I am so jealous of you getting to Japan, it has become my next travel destination outside of the EU/UK/Ireland and the US. I also love what’s in my bag reviews, especially when it is tech. So I love your video! I am such a tech geek. I am new to the Mac and picked up an used 2020 Intel chip sit MacBook Air. I am a poor college student right now. There would be nothing I would add for your tech bag, because your iPad mini can act like a ebook reader, with annoying glare. It reminds me of what I take on for my personal item bag back and forth between my two homes, one in the EU the other on the west coast USA. Yeah, I married someone over on the other side of the Atlantic.
Okay that backpack acts more like a Wandrd Pvrke. I like you would not store my passport in a side zip compartment. Pickpockets know to look for these compartments. The Pvrke that I own the hidden pocket is harder to get to. The lite version of the backpack has the camera cube built in, the 21 liter and above you have to buy the cube separately. Since the lite did not have the hidden pocket I got the 21 L, I plan on getting a small camera cube for my Canon DSLR. Probably not the huge thing that Wandrd sells.
Please use time stamps, it’s a lot easier to go through each item.

ps: pro tip: take off the speaker from the airtag! that way thieves cant know you are tracking them!

Obviously this is tech focused, but just in case anyone here is gonna go japan, take small trash bags, there’s basically no public bins. Take cash, plenty of places wont accept card. And i always generally recommend a small first aid kit, baby wipes and a spare layer
And a handkerchief as some bathrooms don’t have towels.

I am heading to Japan too so interested in what you bring. I also bought an Insta360 X3 so pretty excited about capturing cool shots. I plan to use the iPad mini for a digital journal/scrapbook.

As someone who would love to travel to Japan one day this is perfect! 😄 I didn't even know that when I saw the video in the recommended. What I liked about the thumbnail was the variety of tech that went into the backpack. It looked clean and minimal and that is what I was looking for. Great video and I definitely got to check out that bag :D I use a Bravo Sling Mini V2 from Alpakagear ☺ I just an iPad mini 6 for everything but was looking at maybe a larger sling bag or a backpack but I tend to travel very very light I am just not much to pack stuff. If I have more space I over pack lol

6:32 Hey there! Awesome vid, by the way! Bet you had a blast in Japan. So here's my dilemma: I've got the 13 Pro Max and, man, it heats up like a mini stove sometimes. Do you get the same issue with your 14 Pro Max? You know, like when you're out and about, snapping pics, how long does it take to auto dim the screen brightness to give it a breather from the heat?
The AirPod Pro noise cancellation is amazing for when I get overstimulated. I just plop them in my ears and everything is muted around me. Worked awesome at DisneyWorld.

That's an excellent bag and you've got it filled with LOTS of tech. I've gotta ask, how many external drives do you carry when you are traveling? That's both in term of (1) actual units and (2) quantity of TBs. Enjoy your trip!!!

I don't carry nearly as many gadgets as you do, but then I don't have a UA-cam channel. I do have that UGREEN charger, I just got it and it's perfect for my travel needs, and I don't do any travel without my iPad Mini, but for a laptop the M2 MBA is a better fit for my purposes.

The mophie 3 in 1 is better than the MagSafe duo. It’s basically the same thing except it also has a wireless AirPods charger.
You've got some nice accessories. The iPhone charger is a nice thing. I personally try to avoid using that many gadgets on trips to be in the moment.
Most of them are good to be used after the moment and inside the hotel room. Being in the moment is great, but having permanent memories to look back on is great too.
I bet its fun going through airport security with your tech bag. Basically you have to completely empty it out into those bins.

I think you missed the universal travel adapter, it may be required when travelling abroad since plugs are not the same everywhere 😊
Japan uses the same outlets as the US, so thankfully I did not need one.
For longer stays/working remotely in Spain, I also take an Apple TV 4K HD, which is already set to work over there. Great video Greg, info loaded, and I trust you had a wonderful time while in Japan.

You may actually lose weight. I've been in Fukuoka ten weeks and have lost over 10 pounds even though I haven't really changed my diet. Food is less sweet, less fat and less saltier. And you'll probably walk more than usual as well.
