Spast92 keep in mind that emirates used to have an A330, and that this was recorded in 2011. So no, the plane is an A330. The 777 dosn't even have winglets! Also, the 777 has 2 sets of main gear with 6 wheels on each, while the A330 has 2 sets of main gear with 4 wheels on it each. And, the A330 has the airbus reverse system while the 777 has the boeing reverse system. Learn your planes and then make a smart butt comment.

The back wheels touchdown at one touchdown marker and the foward touch down at the next one. That is something from a330 power!!

I've been a 777 guy for a while now, but the more I watch these, the more I like the A330.
Let's go back to 2015,
1. Flybe, jet Airways, u.s Airways and Thomas Cook used to exist
2. Antonov 225s still flew r.i.p to all of them 747s used to fly r.i.p to them as well
3. There were etihad a340s and 30s, there were emirates A330s and 40s and there were qatar airways a340s
4. This was before Malaysia Airlines put there a380 in retire ment 4b. This was before Emirates and etihad put there A330s and 40s in retirement
5. This was before airlines became unloyal
6. R. I. P to 2015
who thinks a330 pilots do the best landing

Having flown the 330 for 2 years I can tell you some of these landings wouldn't have felt particularly smooth. Granted, the initial rear bogie touchdown is generally smooth but getting the forward main gear bogie down smoothly is tricky. See at 3:21 the Virgin guys do not get a smooth forward bogie touchdown since you can see the engine wobble. Beautiful video though and a truly lovely aircraft to fly.
But smoothness is not everything, you’ll waste a lot of runway if you are too obsessed with soft landing 😂

I flew on the a330 with my classmates on a field trip thingy and the landing was so smooth even my classmates applauded

Bro, I am a pilot IRL and I remember that in the third clip when I was approaching for a landing, I saw a hole crowd filming the plane.
BTW I was the pilot who landed the A330 in the third clip....
The only flight operated by an A330 that didn’t land smooth is Cathay Pacific flight 780… I think…?
