Took both my silencers off my 175 honda and had just the down pipes back in the eighties, I regulary got 90 mph out of it! Run like a dream but very loud! So yeah you dont need back pressure on your exhaust! ps my mate said it looked great from the back at night with the flames shooting out from the pipes!!
interesting video, Once the warranty runs out then, you can always get the straight through Toro pipe, its compatible, the only thing that isnt is you need to get an extension for the O2 sensor. I found removing the grille, a slight increase in performance, then installed a K&N air filter, performance increased again. Now its changed the characteristics of the bike by a fair bit, I'm hoping to do the exhaust too. Apparently Sinnis are working on a new Toro pipe for euro 5 but, that's only gonna be messed with cos of euro 5 so tempted to get the old version with the straight pipe as its gonna perform better.
I've noticed that ..it's same exhaust apart from O2 sensor in a different location ..like you said it not a big deal just to extend the wire so it fits .. I'll have a look at doing that possibly at some point .. I'm a cheep skate tho and like to do things myself 😂 ..
@@oldfartuk yeah, I get that haha, I also think the stock exhaust is a fucking eyesore and, it's already rusting after 6 months and, I wash it every weekend thoroughly.. 🙄 By the way, this is the model code for the k&n filter if you wanna take a look, it's worth it trust me, you'll feel it immediately, it's "YA-1906" technically not for the bike but it fits perfectly, no air leakage around the edges or anything.
