Thanks Andy! Got some beautiful weather here this weekend.
Thanks Ed for always providing interesting information whether it’s local history or helping someone at home growing their own plants. Have a great weekend brother!
I’m all over the place Doug. I have a little trouble settling in on any certain topic haha..
Pratts Greenhouse Makes it more interesting in my humble opinion
Thanks buddy!!
Thank you for the video. My daughter is getting married 10 10 2020 and I'm hoping I can grow some gorgeous mums for her to have at wedding
Thanks Ed great video
Thank ya Mike! Hope all is well.
Excellent info!! Is there a part 2?
could you help me figure out the best materials needed to setup commercial scale mum production in regards to water systems and requirements. I.E. water usage per day, pump needed, mainline sizes etc...
We use all Netafim drip system. We use a dosatron fertilizer injectors. And 3/4 inch mainline sizes. Jacks pefessional mum feed.

We are looking to do 5,000-10,000 mums. Best infrastructure for water supply?
@@kelbyrader1671 we use a well and it supplies our need of 3000 gallons per day. But not everyone can have a water well that productive. Pond water is your best option. But have water tested thru Peter’s Laboratory and see what needs done to your water to suit mums. We add sulfuric acid it to our water to achieve proper ph.
Hi Ed, you are very informative and have taught me a lot. thanks. Can you tell me what your main line that you put the emitters in is? Vinyl? Also about how many 8" pots can you fill with one bag of Pormix lp15? I saw something that said 75, does that sound right to you? thanks
Thank you! The line is plastic and we usually get about 70 pots per bale.
Thank you Ed.
I hope.all. is well and the rain eased up down there, it's been bad this way!
We got a couple nice days but not enough to make hay. Rain all next week. We are way behind
Hey bud. Long time no see. Is that an old cement mixer with a modified grate on top or was this legitimately sold as a fertilizer mixer. I’ve used many mixers like that in my days plastering houses. 😁👍
Yes it is an old mortar mixer. Found it on Craigslist. It works great for about 1/10 the price of a soil mixer. Thanks for watching!
Awesome information ya gave us here Sir. Do you use this same mix / amount on anything else other then mums? 200 ppm with a 5.5 ph means you have zero in to make the best. People need to write that down! Thanks buddy for the learning. Hope you folks have a great weekend!
Thank you CB. I add iron to petunias in the spring. They also require 5.5 ph. Lime is added to Geraniums to achieve higher calcium and higher ph. Thank you for watching my friend.
Where's a good place to buy mums seeds in bulk?
Try Harris seeds. We use all cuttings
Are cuttings from plant that bloomed year before? How do I separate them?
hi! great info! where can we purchase the mixer? thank you.
I just found mine on Facebook marketplace.
Live the mixer! Did you build it?
Bobbi Butcher hey! I was lucky enough to find it used and grabbed it up. It works great much cheaper than a soil mixer.
I showed my husband. I asked him can u build me one 😇 lol if I can find one I think he will be much happier. Thank u for answering I know y’all r busy!
white T shirt, must not plan on getting dirty today.
Rob I for sure ain’t gonna work hard enough to get dirty.
Lol!
Enjoyed the video as always Ed .... rub Boone for me and 1,000 Sub's is just around the corner!
Thanks Mike we’re getting there.
