I love this sketch, it’s from the first episode of the Souvenir Program I ever listened to... but on the other hand it’s going to be stuck in my head for days now!
This has made my day! 😃 My partner works in the bus industry, this song has been on my mind since we discovered we were having a baby! Our friends found they were having a baby at the same time as us & the husband is also a trained driver. I wanted to play this to them but struggled to find the episode on BBC sounds. ❤️ Thank you so much! Xxx
Oh and another friend was singing the wheels on the bus to my son. She sang the line "the Daddies on the bus fall fast asleep"....god help the passengers 😂 Also after the bus accidentally rolled backwards into a house in Oxford, it holds a new charm.
John, I’d like to know if I can get the therapist sketch where the client keeps making terrible decisions? Also the sketch about the English teacher covering for a maths lesson.
Kinda shouting into the void, but have been so excited about good omens since i first heard you were involved. dammit. need more smart, sarcastic, empathetic, intellectual, and fundamentally silly humour in my life. Bring it on! xx
Me too!!! We just started watching the series the other day, and there have been a few QUALITY Finnemore jokes that have had my family properly belly laughing!! There are some truly brilliant Souvenir Programme moments
Have you put up (or will you put up) the computer-song? You know the "Where've they gone? - Not in this directory." I know a lot of computer programmers, who would love it!
Dear John Finnemore! I love you writings, I've been listening to all your comedy shows since i discovered the first episode of Cabin Pressure. I am studying English and using your writing as a material. I listened to Double Acts, Ep 1. And there is a place I cant make out. When Dolorosa says about "drinking achaka" and playing "tame punker". I googled but I still cant really understand what do those things mean. Maybe you clarify?
Hi John, thanks for uploading these. This is a long-shot request, but I recall a radio sketch that may have come from the souvenir programme: a man is waiting for a bus/train, and is approached by another man who offers to sell him a DVD, and is very insitent. It also involves a joke about a pen as the punchline? Thanks for all the laughs you have given me over the years!
I want a full release/album, of all the songs in the Souvenir Programme.
It needs to be called A Song for Everyday of the Year.
@@Gerarrrdwaaamy favourite of that album is the song for 27th December.
I love the ideas of telling Americans that this is the British version of the wheels on the bus
I found you since the jesus swivelchair sketch. Still cracks me up! 😂😂

The sketch adds so much to the reveal 😂
It looks like a Wilts & Dorset bus. Reminds me of my teenage years 🙂
One of my favs.

John, you're just brillant.
Quality lighting on the seats and windows of the bus.
I love your art progress!
Brilliant!

Your drawing has become really amazing, quite impressive!
(the sketch is awesome too of course, but I have gotten used to that)

That's not a JFSP sketch and couldn't find it amongst the first three seasons of TM&WS.
@@VonBlade That's because this is from season 8.
Wait... "written, performed, AND DRAWN by John Finnemore"?!?!
Seriously?!?! Is there anything he can't do?!?!?! 😂
Sing.
Which season is this?
Series 8
lol
@john finnemore Bus in Wilts and Dorset livery? Not a Yellow bus then 😃
