Plastic flutes are more accurate, have a louder, more resonant sound, but they don't have the some "wood sound". This wooden instruments and plastic ones you hear here are not on one level. Wood flutes that are really good and fine sound very expensive ... Auolos are by far the best of the plastic sopraninos.
Can definitely hear the brightness of the two last plastic sops compared to wood

The Moeck (number 1) was my favourite, but it’s probably the most expensive.
Yes it is, but my new favourite is a cheaper one, an older model the Moeck Tuju- which makes me wonder if the Moeck Rondo is worth investigating.
Arwen Acoustic I will be be interested in your conclusion, as I’m thinking of upgrading my present sopranino, which is an Aulos plastic one.
