Kinda looks like a dream life right there traveling in a van and zipping around on a scooter. I think that IX6 is an excellent choice for portability and all terrain. Plus it's got a very reasonable price tag.
Scooter is great but don't think there allowed on public roads or pavement therefore a bike is better in my opinion.
i have a scooter but you can only use it on private land cycle paths and canal paths are not private so it doesnt get much use . and if caught its 6 penalty points on your licence and a fine and its usually confiscated now the police have a pure on them at the moment so a ebike if its for going it to towns while travelling

As with all the other comments I'm afraid the Road Traffic Act applies you need insurance, as it's classed as a mechanically propelled vehicle the drink / drug drive laws also apply. This includes private land that the public have access to unless the land has locked/permission access gates/barriers.

I have the iscooter4. And the iscooter 6. Same as the one you have brilliant bit of kit I wear full hi vi’s including full face helmet
Yes they are illegal on road etc. Ave never had a problem on mine.

We have a big 'garage' on ours so not an issue. However, I've just bought a couple of light cheap scooters for use abroad (we do nine-tenths of our mileage on the continent) as the two e-bikes are quite heavy and take a fair chunk of room. We'll see how the scoots go when we go to N. Spain and Portugal in March!
Ebike is better for comfort because of the bigger tires but for portability I give it credit to the escooters. I own quite a few dual motor escooters I know about it.
26kg is lighter than what bike?! Thats a ton compared to any bike ive ever had.

The police have been asked by the GOV not to actively pursue users of scooters if ridden in a proper manner. This is just till the decision on electric scooters and bikes are solved ie what types, insurance age etc.
That’s a big bonus and a step forward
But personally I like escooters because it can serve as a ebike if you mount a seat to it. And because it's easier to fold and unfold so yea there you go.

Total waste of time getting a scooter,illegal to use in public,roads,pathways,parks,in fact anywhere in public,they can only be used on private land. And I think caravan sites, etc, could count as being public as so many people are walking about. Nanny state,😢
