- I wanted to record Allure's horns as they sounded. This was recorded from the ship's solarium. They were quite loud.
The General Emergency alarm is sounded as seven short alarm blasts, followed by one long blast.
"What the hell is that!" At the very end is a nice touch
Lol
the "- - - - - - - -----" is actually a general alarm while continuesly short ones are fire alarm on ships, so it might be a role training for the new crews.
(it also says your tasks in your role card)
I went on quantum of the seas and this was similar or the same I forgot it was in January this year so it been 3-4 months already
@@Randompersom69 I was on it’s sister, odyssey of the seas
That just sounds amazing!
Time to make this my alarm guys!!🥰🥰🥰
Be a good car alarm
I went on this ship in February 2014 right before I went to middle school. The first time I heard the bell in middle school, I was like “sounds just like the Allure of the seas alarm!!!” My classmate got my reference. The school bell sounded just like the alarm on the allure.
Cruise line simulators muster horn 😮
I heard this when i was asleep and idk if its a test and i heard an announcement about the muster stations. Am i cooked
Do they give you noise cancellations headphones for the kids
When was this recorded? I thought there was e-muster now.
There is. The actual safety drill is completed via the app and then you check into your assigned muster station after you board. No action is required when the horn is sounded for the drill. This was recorded March 19, 2022. We were just leaving port as the horn sounded.
There is. Just a requirement to sound the international emergency signal (7 short and 1 long) on horn and speakers around the ship. so guest are familiarised with how it sounds, and it is a requirement for the safety of life at sea (SOLAS)
@@sailorriley715 yep that’s right
There is, but the captain still demonstrates the general emergency alarm so that the passengers know what they are hearing of they find themselves in the unlikely event of an emergency
the horn basically means the thing is due right?
That muster drill Alarm sounds afwul
It sounds just like the bell from my old middle school
Well if you say so
Reminds me of the chime on a Schindler MT elevator
I was on the Norwegian escape on June 4th 2023. When we got on the ship our room cards said what our muster station was which ours was E1 we went to our muster station and they scanned our card and that was it then 20 minutes later they announced that they were going to sound the emergency tone alarm and they sounded it I didn't heard the horn it was only the alarm tone not the ship horn but when we did sail off they did do one long blast on the horn anyway this muster drill stuff may change but that's what happened when I went on my cruise.
Yeah I went on Norwegian Encore and all they did was a piercing PA chime thing instead of the horn.
My anti cringe weapon
