Golf is a lot different. Cheating can be said to happen in about 95% of rounds played by people. Hiding what your doing is wrong though. If you're with others they need to know and be ok with it.. If you're in a tournament or leagues you need to follow club rules. If you are entering your score for handicap you need to play by the rules. But most rounds; you get friendly drops, maybe a mulligan or a breakfast ball. Something gets deemed ground under repair just to keep things fun.

Golf is a lot different. Cheating can be said to happen in about 95% of rounds played by people. Hiding what your doing is wrong though. If you're with others they need to know and be ok with it.. If you're in a tournament or leagues you need to follow club rules. If you are entering your score for handicap you need to play by the rules.
But most rounds; you get friendly drops, maybe a mulligan or a breakfast ball. Something gets deemed ground under repair just to keep things fun.

Nothing wrong breaking game rules all over the place if your only goal is to have fun. Even in sports, you can have matches with silly rules. Play badminton while holding your raket like a baseball bat for example.

They didn't bother to beat their opponent by challenging themselves to improve, by breaking their own limits. One of the core goals of competition. Nah, just wanted the victory to feed their misplaced ego. That is a loser's attitude because they'll never become really good.
