Exactly the kind of title animation I was after. Minimalist and neat. Great tutorial! A little fast for me as a beginner, I had to watch this over like 10 times to really get it. On the first try I had an issue where the Fusion Composition did not blend with my Video 1, it was just the fusion text. I restarted again and it worked fine.

I can tell that for someone who's not used to DVR and Fusion, the pace of this vid is a bit overwhelming. the delivery needs to be _s l o w e r_ mate.
I stopped using Da Vinci Resolve when it was at 14 (using mostly GoPro footage) but I think I'll give 17 a go. but this is the type of title sequence I was looking for, not just some boring text. thanks

When smoothing in the spline editor, I always wondered two things. Hope you +an clarify.
    1) What is the practical difference between Shift S (for smooth?) and Shift F (for flatten). When do you use one over the other?
    2) why do some keyframe dots have a simple square icon, and others have a lock-type icon 🔒

Does anyone else get this weird problem:
Drag fusion composition onto fusion timeline. The video below it plays through once, no problem. Play it through a second time, and its gone black. Can't see anything below where the fusion composition is.

  • @HoundDogMech

Some Video Editor could make a Fortune With an add on to DaVinci where when you hover over an icon or menu item it shows it name (some times) but pressing the F1 key it would jump to this add on where it explains What it is how it works and maybe a short video how it is used. That would be more valuable to beginners and old gezzers alike than all the separate Tutorials you know you have seen but can never find when you need them.
So which one of you experts wants to be rich?

Ey man. How can I animated this type of thing but with the "extend clip" in "time line".
For example: if I need that the fusion clip only works 10 seconds with all these effects, but in another moment I need that only works at 30 seconds but with the same effects, and only changes the "time effect".
I don't know, it's like a "Title effects library" that doesn't matter how long is the clip but every "effects" works well....
