- Beware of using K&N Oil Filters on your motorcycles, they could cause you to crash or worse!
Fortunately, I noticed my leaking K&N Oil Filter before it became more serious.

He crashed from a K&N Oil Filter Failure, luckily for him, it happened on the straight into the braking zone and not in the middle of a corner.
I bought a low mileage NC700x. It came with a extra new K@N K&N filter. I changed oil and installed it and soon it started leaking. I posted a pic of it on NC700X-NC700x forum and got all kinds people saying I did something wrong, or did not know what I was doing. I have been riding for 55 years and well over 200,000++ miles on cycles and NEVER had a dealer change oil, done it myself. took a pic of it dripping and they still defend it. ????????
My car has a kn oil filter right now and its cause engine noise that ive never heard before switching to OEM as soon as i can :( broke af really annoyed

So, that nut can't withstand the 3/4 turn that many people can even do with their own hands?
Damn! I just bougbt 2. Got them because I thought it would be easier to install
