All of the 'mechs in the Marauders' lance were standard 'mechs, nothing special about the chasis specifically. However, they are all given "special" names, as those are meant to be flavor to represent the names their pilots give them. Their loadouts, however, are another story. The PPC was on the Dragon, the Griffin had a large laser and LRM5, the Catapult had upgraded LRM15s, and the Centurian had an upgraded... well, everything a CN9-A Centurian normally comes with. None of the 'mechs are special variants or anything like that. They are pretty basic. 4th Succession War-era garbage. It's their weapons that count. Also, no need to replace that Clan UAC/2. It said repair. It likely took either a through-armor crit, or the armor was stripped and it took a crit but no internal damage was suffered. But it's not destroyed. If it was, it would have been red, not orange. Last thing - The Raid will absoultely wreck your rep with the pirates. Just saying.
I must be mis-remembering this mission, I could have sworn that he would try to screw you over. I think that might have been the fp where the guy pilots a custom crab?
It DID have the air of a plot-twist coming... He was so insistent on us not dropping a Steiner Scout Lance, that I figured *he* was going to drop that and he was actually afraid of a fair fight.
