Those "Berkley" fish have spent much of their lives around crowds, at fishing trade shows, schools, and so on. They are not that easily spooked. Their mistake was in not using Berkley PowerBaits and similar, which those fish have surely been conditioned to strike at.

Who really added excitement to an otherwise mundane sport? Tiger Woods. He did it with celebrations that many old timers didn't really like with the fist pumps and yelling. Now a fist pump and getting excited over a putt is the norm with today's young golfers. Ike may not be Tiger, but he added excitement to a boring sport and made people, like me, want to watch.
