- Hiya all!! After a bit of a hiatus, I'm now resuming the second half of the Mega Man X1 vocal covers! I hope you're all well and I thank you for your patience with this one.

The contrast between this song and Electric Executioner is very interesting.

The art of Kuwanger himself looks phenomenal and his whole exterminator vibe and question of why he's been left behind does hit me

Ngl, I welled up a little with those last two verses. I’m loving how each of the X series mavericks are given their own unique, sympathetic spin.
Great lyrics and composition, as always! Never have I wanted so badly to hug a homicidal robot. 🤣😭
Well worth the wait! I love how you rearranged the theme, one of the most energetic and "rocking" themes, and tamper it down to fit not only the lyrics but the mood of the piece itself, adding to it melancholy and weight. And you use the fact that the song in a minor key as a basis for the the rearrangement, lowering the octave of the main melody to suit the transformation of the lyrics. That really sells how when the song opens up at first the lyrics sounds like defiant resistance, but then it quickly evolves (with the rising notes) into a heartbreaking, inevitable doom in which Boomer Kuwanger is caught vacillating between longing for death and NOT wanting to die to finally coming to the conclusion that he just doesn't want to die alone and will go down fighting as himself for the little bit of time he has left.

I love this one especially. You gave Boomer Kuwanger so much life, expression, and character. This is the most underrated maverick in my opinion. This is definitely my favorite song of yours.

I love how the art of him looks ghostly wich makes sense with the lyrics and how he was infected with the maverick virus and didn't want to join sigma

how do you come up with your lyrics? they're always so thought provoking and unique
My process is different depending on what character/game I’m doing. There’s three components to creating the story arc. First is a Maverick’s personality (Spark Mandrill is a revolutionary, Launch Octopus is a loyal warrior, Boomer Kuwanger is infected with the virus, etc.) Second is their relationship with X; if they hate him, fear him, or want him to join Sigma’s cause. Finally, I decide how they die. Somewhat self explanatory.

@@Znae629 I'm more of a classic fan, so I haven't played the X games in a hot minute, but im ALMOST certain that Sting Chameleon was weak to Boomer Kuwanger. and Storm Eagle was weak to Sting Chameleon. 🤔

With each maverick you cover, it feels like we come to the more sane ones that were forced into Sigma's cause. Wondering how you'll do Storm Eagle and Sting Chameleon.
Going by the personalities they're given in Maverick Hunter X, Sting Chameleon is very underhanded and thuggish relying on sneak attacks while Storm Eagle is proud and noble.
I come back to this channel and what Do I find? That UA-cam hasn't recommended the Last song of this channel, and just to rub salt on the wound its a banger. So screw UA-cam, and thank you so much for making this masterpiece!

You know, I had been wondering why there was such a gap after “Plea for the Past” turns out you just needed some time to cook, and the results did NOT disappoint.
Partially, yes, but I also was taking a bit of a break at the midpoint. I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself to deliver something before it’s ready.

Best stage song of MMX did not disappoint. Definitely sensing some resentment from Boomer towards his colleagues for leaving him to guard a tower of unknown strategic value, though normally he's given an arrogant Quick Man-type personality.
