@@luisditaa If it gives you more hope, they wanted to do a farewell tour of sorts but that was put on hold by the pandemic. I think it's kept them semi-together until they can do the tour.
I Can't say it often enough but the basslines of Noisia are so unbelieveable fat, there is no other band in the whole genre of electronic music who reach this bass sound.Good RemiX
You're totally right about the breaks though it originally came from the term broken beat. Meaning a beat that has broken away from you're usualy 4/4, hence a breakbeat. However, i'd definitely say this is closer to dnb than breakbeat in terms of genres. The consistancy of the drums, the focus on the bass and drops... In fact the only reason I can think of that this would be breakbeat is the slower tempo but then again noisia have always been around 172bpm so that don't man anything. This is dnb
ah yes, finnaly. THANK YOU FOR THE UPLOAD i have this on vinyl, but was looking for a way to play it without having to connect my player all the time :D

Haha, I like how if someone says they like the original more, they hella get thumbs down. How dare they have a preference! Anyway, I like the original more myself, but I can't deny that Noisia pulled off a more darker, brutal, killer of a tune with this. Now, I don't see myself listening to it around the house much, but when it got dropped a few weeks ago at an event, it sure got my ass movin. So big ups to The Prodigy for Omen and to Noisia for this heavy remix!
Also, Please check Noisia's older songs. They used to make very very cool dark drum and bass, you will not be disappointed! for example: Block Control. They have since grown "beyond" drum and bass / dubstep. They have their own sound which uses elements from drum and bass, dubstep, and electro.
so many remixes of this tune, the original makes me feel like im on acid, all other arent the same, but still, big up noisia, hes a burning star in the apocalyptic sky of our time!
I love listening to the prodigy's songs or remixes when i'm driving, its like your in a movie and in a suspense action situation like in the Matrix :D The best is that i have surround sound system inside of my car, so when i play this kind of songs it really spins my mind out of nowhere :D it goes 3 - Dimensional... worth it.
To burnthebassist... I know exactly what you mean. As a huge fan of prodigy and noisia i was so amazed when i heard this. I thought it was going to be differnt to this but i was no way disapointed, IT has the 'noisia' feel to it deffo. Love the darkness, and the discusting twisting bassline. I am seeing prodigy in 4 days in birmigham, i cant fuckin wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some history: modern electronica is mostly the offspring of two older styles - one funk and the other disco. Funk gave birth to breakbeat/hip hop & disco effectively became house. In breakbeat/hip hop, producers sampled drum breaks for their drum tracks, hence the name. Back in day prodigy was who you wanted to remix a song. I feel like noisa is the next generation of that.

Just ... awesome. Just imagine hearing this one live.
This is very powerful and hard! Pure injection of energy!
Mikhail Sorokin says every steroid user
Yeah! It's pure druggggg!
This is Noisia Genre. Nobody does "Dubstep" and "Drum And Bass" by all the rules. Real players make their own style.
stfu and enjow the music
this isn't dubstep or drum and bass it is breakbeat the bpms are 140 drum and bass has 170 to 180
Or you just don't know about Breakbeat (which is the origin of Drum n Bass and Bass Music in general)
Or you could all stfu and enjoy the music and stop arguing about what genre this fits into. Just a thought....
