- A live lead guitar solo by Andy larocque and then the other guitar player (don't remember his name) and then a synchronized dual lead jam live uploaded to OurMedia for OurSpace at ourspace.izfree.com I guess OurMedia is OurSpace's high speed streamnig video and audio server, anyway, the video quality suck, and goofs up right at the beginning then gets better, Sound is pretty good.
Cool video. There's not enough Andy Larocque on youtube.
Why doesn't this have a million views and where can we find more classic moments like this?
Agreed, Andy is way to underrated. More people to need to appreciate his ability and his talent.
Great stuff. The name of the other guitarist is Michael Moon, known from the swedish group Madison.
Parts of the duet sound just like Cacophony, although this is probably before Friedman and Becker formed it.
Dude, Andy should totally start doing dual solos like this with Mike at future shows.
That is not Mike , not even Michael Denner , that is the guitarist they had for that tour called Michael Moon ... stay heavy \m/
All the guitar players they've had throughout the years were good, but I gotta say my favorites have to be Michael Denner, Pete Blakk and Herb Simonsen.
It's a shame Michael never did an album with King Diamond, he looks and plays awesome here

Michael Moon is the other guitar player who replaced Michael Denner, he never recorded with the band unfortunately. Timmy Hanson was a beast on bass!!

Michael Moon is the other Guitarist! He replaced Michael Denner, he didnt record any albums with them but hes in the Video for The Family Ghost and is also in some of the pictures in the Abigail album!
Back in the early to mid eighties Andy was playin'mostly with Riches and Jacksons.
To be honest i dont know what he did after '90-'91 though :)

They played a small part near the end, if you can recognize it, it was later used in the song Cremation 2 albums later.
Yes, it is Andy LaRocque and Michael Moon on guitars. Michael Denner quite King Diamond right before this tour (the Abigail-tour), and Moon joined the band, but was later thrown out of the band and replaced by Pete Blakk on the Them-album.
Bur why was he kicked out of the band??? The duo would have been fantastic.

And that line up with Pete was the best.. come in... Them and conspiracy... Almost as good as the🕯️ and Abigail 👿

I remember Anders playing a white Gibson Flying V in school. I think he was also one of the first playing a maple/walnut V2 back then in GBG, Johan Herlogson ("Norden Light"), owning the other one. This is WAAAY back, - 82, or so. Pete Sandberg went to the same school...
Anders was in a band called "Trafalgar" in school, with Magnus Ax, later in "Swedish Erotica". Magnus now runs "Sticky Fingers", a well established rock club in GBG, Sweden.

@eoinb57 What about the Abigail live CD? The liner notes say that it's Michael Moon on there. Michael is often forgotten but this video shows that he's one helluva player.

B.C. Rich made Andy several custom Gunslinger guitars.
One has the Abigail album cover airbrushed on it.
He was recently playing Dean guitars... but now is playing ESP E-ll guitars.

Mikael Myllynen (aka Moon) is his real name he was replaced by Pete after the Abigail Tour ended
