That thing is so stable and the weight seems perfect and makes it flat out hook up plus the castle system has no problem tossin it around..This truck rocks bigtime..I cant believe how well its hooking up
I never seen a rc that I just enjoy watching the suspension work besides yours, its awesome just watching the truck soak up all the bumps and jumps, looks like the new tires hook up pretty good too!
rolexr Thanks man! The weight is the biggest factor with these. It helps so much with traction, and it gives it that realistic heavy driving style. It's awesome feeling the truck shift weight from side to side.
Fantastic job on that build, the suspension looks absolutely and acts like a real 1 to 1! I am definitely interested in how you got that to work and what you used to do it. New subscriber here for sure, I want to learn your suspension secrets that truck moves and acts as close to a real 1 to 1 that I have seen.
Welcome to the channel! I think the biggest thing for making the shocks look scale is the overall weight of the truck. You're not going to see a SC10 float over bumps like this thing does! It's close to 8.5 lbs just to give you an idea. But yeah I'm still working to make it jump better. It kinda bottoms out to quickly right now.
Looks Awesome!! I'm happy they made an easy route finally,I know me and alot of people are probably gonna slap SCT bodies on a Yeti for that scale fix the easy way out!LOL! Your truck is awesome!
how much did the whole project cost? I have a ruckus that doesnt perform how i want and i have the skill to make one of these so itd be the perfect idea
Riley Dalzell It's all depends on what kind of parts you can get your hands on. If I had to guess for everything on mine, it's probably around $800. But mines literally the most expensive you can make it lol.
I have 2 questions. 1. How much money do you have into this project?( if you dont mind, i hate getting asked that to) and 2. Would you make another one if someone paid you?
It's hard to say a cost because I had most of the parts before. But if I had to guess it would be somewhere around $600 for everything new. But for #2 I don't sell them, it's way too much work to build them.
I'm fairly certain that front piece above the bumper is going to bend eventually. If you endo at speed I feel like its going to bend down. Metal is strong, but it bends pretty easily, you never really realize how much force there is in this scale of truck.
It might, don't think I've ever crashed like that though. I'm planning to extend the bumper and make it go through the body but like you said, I'm worried about it getting hit and shifting the whole front end..
My friend makes aluminum and Steel RC cages *mainly for slashes* and its crazy how easily stuff bends sometimes. But its all trial and error with this stuff. Awesome build though man, I'm in the middle of my scale longtravel build as well.
Really don't think it's down force, the truck is just really heavy lol. It's about 9 lbs rtr. But it is a lot more balanced now front to back. I shedded some weight up front.
Thanks, wanted to change it up a little. We're gonna fix the track at some point. Not sure if we want to make it a scale trophy truck course or just a track for the race trucks..
Really sick Cycon ;) Rims turned out really good! They look amazing. Truck looks nearly perfect now, just the cage needs to get that monster green look :-) And in my opinion, you should paint another body with his old paint scheme. I mean the Black/White one like your old body. But that a just my opinion. - Jannik ;)
Thanks Jannik!! I have to weld a few more things but the painted cage will be next! And I do plan to paint another one of his older body, this is just test one to bash around with :)
Good to hear that, the old design is much cooler I think :) Will definitely look awesome, keep it going dude! Btw, finished the front of the cage today. Your pics helped me a lot. May you have a pic from side of the rear for me with a ruler again? Would be great! Have a good evening! - Jannik
jannik weier I agree completely, I liked his old body waaay better. But you're making quick progress huh? Glad the pics helped. Next time I'm by the truck I'll get a pic for you.
God damn you once again, now I want to have my body for my Baja done 10 minutes ago! I'm looking into getting a Woodster wide body as I could not believe the price but I don't know about shipping yet, that could be the deal breaker for me...
CyconXc Them Woodster bodies have apparently been almost unbreakable from what everyone's been saying so far, also I found out it's $135 for the body and $65 for shipping to me, now if there's customs it'll probably be another 65.
hey man i was wondering if you could possibly pm me i am interested in making one and i don't have the time and i would be willing to pay some money if you could say make a chassis or something thx and hopefully i hear from u
Looks so much like a real trophy truck! Love this project! Good to see the backyard track again.
Thanks Mudguy, glad you like it! We hope to rebuild the track soon!
that rear arm travel is just insane...niice
Looks like that truck handles like a dream. Great job on the build. Love it!
Appreciate it! Thanks!
That thing is so stable and the weight seems perfect and makes it flat out hook up plus the castle system has no problem tossin it around..This truck rocks bigtime..I cant believe how well its hooking up
Yeah man I'm so impressed with it! This is how solid axles should handle, we had it all wrong before lol. I appreciate the feedback!
I never seen a rc that I just enjoy watching the suspension work besides yours, its awesome just watching the truck soak up all the bumps and jumps, looks like the new tires hook up pretty good too!
Thanks Jon, that's the awesome thing about trophy trucks! Glad you like it man, the tires work awesome!
Great flow on that suspension :) Excelent motivation to try and build my own truck when i get more familiar with TT/SCT rcs :)
Nice work! It corners really well...soaks up the bumps and jumps just like a full scale trophy truck.
Thanks man!! I have it setup pretty good now!
It takes some skill to do this so man just wanted to say I love the trucks and keep on doing what u doing
The suspension on this truck is ridiculous! Nice work man.
I know, thanks Dave!
Super realistic. Great job, enjoy.
Awesome dude. Very sweet. I still can't get over how awesome it is. Keep it up!!!
Haha thanks Ryan!
Wow...seems to handle very well for a 2WD truck. And the weight makes it look like a 1:1 race truck on the track. Great work buddy!!!
rolexr Thanks man! The weight is the biggest factor with these. It helps so much with traction, and it gives it that realistic heavy driving style. It's awesome feeling the truck shift weight from side to side.
It looks so good and realistic. Both in motion and still.
Thanks Joe, glad you liked the video!
You are the best rc channel on UA-cam
Very nice truck, I love the way it looks in action, very realistic.
+James Burkett Thanks James, appreciate it.
Awesome truck my friend. Looks dialed.in and.readym. Great driving. Suspension moves just like the real race truck.
THOSE SHOCKS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE WORKING GREAT
Gonzalo Lozano Thanks man, I'm glad you think that. I agree! :)
k
wow looks amazing cant wait to see the suspension in slow mo again
Thanks man. GoPro edits will be back soon!
CyconXc you will have to check out my go pro footage from my race this weekend after i get it posted
quadsatv I will man, love your yfz
can i ask what makes this trophy trucks suspension so smooth
is it the weight of the truck itself????
How did you go about making the cb radio antennas and the window nets?
Fantastic job on that build, the suspension looks absolutely and acts like a real 1 to 1! I am definitely interested in how you got that to work and what you used to do it. New subscriber here for sure, I want to learn your suspension secrets that truck moves and acts as close to a real 1 to 1 that I have seen.

Looks absolutely amazing!
Thanks man, she drives even better now ;)
how much it was to build that sweet rc trophy truck why im askin i want to build my own
Its Looking BADASS its coming together. love the light bar BTW!!!
Thanks man, can't wait to do a vid with the lights on!!!
Will that body fit a 2wd slash because im looking for a new body
Slow-moSlow-moSlow-moSlow-mo please! This will look sick, and most realistic ever RC trophy truck 1/10 yet!
Haha thanks. The next edit will be slow mo for sure! I'll make sure to make it epic!!!!! :D
very cool! I'd love to see a class of true scale trucks come alive at the tracks.
Thanks Chuck! Would be awesome to see scale tracks for these! Not many people have them though lol
Wow that thing is so realistic really well built man keep up the good vids bro
I will man, thanks!
perfect , the weight seems to be perfectly scale, it just moves like a full scale truck :D
Thank man it is! The thing drives like it's on rails! :D
Looking good man. That suspension looks like it handles real well . The truck has a good scale look to it .
Thanks man, it's getting there! Still need to make some adjustments to the compression but for the most part the shock setup is dialed.
what a nice playground you got there!!!
Good god is that thing killer! Nice work. You should be proud
Thanks Nick! I am man, hard work payed off!
I am blown away! I wanna build one now
Have you had any problems with the drive shaft with having so much travel? Thx!
+Josh Hoh Nope, you just have to adjust the anti squat if you go with longer travel.
Looks Awesome!! I'm happy they made an easy route finally,I know me and alot of people are probably gonna slap SCT bodies on a Yeti for that scale fix the easy way out!LOL! Your truck is awesome!
I have one Traxxas slash,but I want this car,where can I by this??please
this channel should have more subscribers
That truck is 100% legit!
Hey quick question what engine is powering that masterpiece?
Thanks, I'm running the Castle 3800kv right now. Check out the other specs in the description.
Sweet, nice to see youtubers commenting, anyways good luck!
Joey Junior I try to reply to everyone if I can, I know most people don't. Thanks though!
Where do you buy the bodies from?
Looks scale, nice!
That thing is sick! How much did it cost to build?
Yea it's a tank for sure. It drove like the real thing. Are you going to try it with double the power?
Thanks, glad you guys like how it drives! But what do you mean by double the power?? You mean 4s D:
CyconXc Yea, if your setup can handle it. Or just 3s. It looks like it can handle a bit more speed with all that weight.
where is the best place to get one?
man is that a g10 kit?
how much did the whole project cost? I have a ruckus that doesnt perform how i want and i have the skill to make one of these so itd be the perfect idea
Riley Dalzell It's all depends on what kind of parts you can get your hands on. If I had to guess for everything on mine, it's probably around $800. But mines literally the most expensive you can make it lol.
Oh ok good to know thanks
Congrats on winning the readers ride
Looks so real man!
Thanks man!
Where did you buy the rear suspension arms ?
Arthur rosíek I got those from RC4WD, but they don't sell them anymore.
And other similar alternative?
Arthur rosíek The yeti trailing arms are the closest thing, but those are 3/4 inch shorther.
How fast dose it go
What's the name of this Alcyca?

Looks sooooooooooooo scale man!!! Crazy work!
Glad you approve, thanks!!
Is that a 50cm light bar? (; that's cool you should do a video on that led bar
No it's actually a 6.6 inch. I got it from RPP, Gear Head makes it.
www.rpphobby.com/product_p/geasca018.htm
Is that a yeti
what scale is your rc truck
I'm fairly certain that front piece above the bumper is going to bend eventually. If you endo at speed I feel like its going to bend down. Metal is strong, but it bends pretty easily, you never really realize how much force there is in this scale of truck.

Great job xc! I love the chevy body you got on it. :)
Thank Chris! Wait till you see the final body ;)
It looks like you got a lot og downforce on this truck, am I right or is it little bit heavy?
Really don't think it's down force, the truck is just really heavy lol. It's about 9 lbs rtr. But it is a lot more balanced now front to back. I shedded some weight up front.
Nice, I love it^^ Is this now a standard Proline Silverado body or your own thermoformed body? And.....where are the decals? :-O
Thanks! It's the stock Proline body. I might put on some more stickers at some point, but for now it's fine :)
What scale is it?
Lookin' good man! About how fast can that thing go?
Thank man. I couldn't open up the throttle but this thing is fast! I'm telling you, even for a 8+ lb truck, it's fast!
what body is that?
I'm watching the 2014 Mint 400 right now..!
Have it PVR'd :)
How much would you charge to build one of these
I don't sell them, sorry.
Dude I am in love with it haha. I wanna build one now!!
Haha it seems to have that effect on people lol
haha i bet!
Awesome video, the truck handles great. Are you going to fix the track?
Thanks, wanted to change it up a little. We're gonna fix the track at some point. Not sure if we want to make it a scale trophy truck course or just a track for the race trucks..
You should a mix of both short course tracks and a trophy truck course, that would be so cool
RCreptile12 Yeah that would be cool. I think that's what we'll end up doing.
CyconXc Awesome can't wait to see it
seems to handle great. how about some slow motion onboard video
Thanks Jacob, it does! Still looking for spots to get some cool onboard shots. Not as easy as the aluminum frame haha
Dude get me in on some of that sweet truck!
Haha! I'll need a licence, registration and proof of insurance XD
LOL
how mush money do you spend on this car. whits car
What light bar do you have on it?
Gear head rc leds bars www.rpphobby.com/category_s/389.htm?searching=Y&sort=11&cat=389&show=60&page=1&brand=Gear%20Head%20RC

Where did you get the body shell?
I got it off Ebay. Sucks proline discontinued this one. It's one of my favorites!
thanks
Really sick Cycon ;) Rims turned out really good! They look amazing. Truck looks nearly perfect now, just the cage needs to get that monster green look :-)
And in my opinion, you should paint another body with his old paint scheme. I mean the Black/White one like your old body. But that a just my opinion.

TheRcworld101 Ok it's great software. Just google cyberlink, don't think they make the 11 anymore though.

Is it a locked rear end?
Yep, it's a solid axle
Thats awesome
God damn you once again, now I want to have my body for my Baja done 10 minutes ago! I'm looking into getting a Woodster wide body as I could not believe the price but I don't know about shipping yet, that could be the deal breaker for me...
The worst thing about running 5th scales, the damn bodies lol. Hope you can find one that works...
CyconXc Them Woodster bodies have apparently been almost unbreakable from what everyone's been saying so far, also I found out it's $135 for the body and $65 for shipping to me, now if there's customs it'll probably be another 65.
Awesome Chevy.
