I've had a lot of fun using Ninjask and Shedinja on my beginning team. If you delay your evolution then you can get the Shedinja to have both False Swipe and Swords Dance. I would suggest either Shadow Misdreavus from Colosseum or Rayquaza from the Sky Pillar. Edit: I literally forgot to add this, but another option you could go for is shiny Slakoth from Petalburg Woods! An awesome Pink shiny imo.

I guess I can throw in my suggestion here for a future hunt as well… You suffered a ton with this 10% ralts, but why not take it a step further with the 1% wailord? It would be cool to see you attempt the 100% repel trick for it as well as any other repel trick or just the straight up 1%! 😉

I think the idea for shiny Deoxys is a great idea, but if that isn't in the cards I'd love to see a shiny Aron (like me lmao) that you keep an Aron (not for the DTQ lol) from granite cave. When I was just a young kid playing Sapphire for the first time, I didn’t even know that Pokémon existed, I hadn’t ever seen it before and none of my friends had ears of it. But I knew right away it was based on the real-life Coelacanth because I saw a documentary about it. It was so strange, scientists were shocked to discover this ancient fish at the bottom of the sea, and so was I! Good hunting buddy!

Originally thought to jokingly ask you to hunt for that Pokedollar 500 Magikarp at route 4's Pokemon Centre but recently I encountered my first shiny Safari Zone Pokemon ever that I failed instantly - Scyther, so I would really love to see you try to get it as well while I'm desperately trying to reclaim it!
I'd love to see the XD Gale of Darkness Chikorita. I think Chikorita is underrated, and the XD hunt is very unique. Hope I win that capture card! Also massive congrats on Ralts! Been along the journey with you for a long time.
I'd recommend taking on one of Duking's trade Pokemon from Pokemon XD, particularly the Shuckle. The resets are quick due to there not actually being a trade animation and the other options for Shuckle in Generation 3 are a little less than desirable (Colosseum's is an incredibly long reset, Emerald is rock smash is the Safari Zone, and the only other option is to modify the Altering Cave encounters). If you aren't too picky over which of the shinies you get, it's also easy to just cycle through the three of them each reset.

That's impressive patience you got there. I hunted off and on one system for a shiny piplup for the longest time, then when I got it one day, started hunting for every other starters I didn't have. I have 14 of 15 1/8192 shiny starters and Im hunting for Tepig now. Good luck on other hunts!

I can't imagine a two and a half year hunt. My longest were probably Dynamax Adventure (392) Kyogre and BDSP Briefcase Piplup, which lasted three months and went to nearly 6k

Would love to see some kind of multi-fossil hunt! I don't know how possible it is, but in the future gens (particularly XY,) one of THE hunts to do is fossil resets because of the ability to replenish them- and I've always been curious as to what the outcome would be if you took a few gen 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, FRLG, etc etc) and stack ALL of the fossils up on one system/file and get a ""mystery shiny""- the mystique of what shiny you get- and the fact of it being such a standout one no matter what- is really intriguing! Although, if the setup for such a hunt is too tedious- I would definitely have to say Anorith or Lileep resets on RSE. Something about Fossil revives will always be exciting. :]

You finally got him! It was almost a relief seeing you get this. Also, you gotta go for Qwilfish. It's a shadow Pokémon in Colosseum but if you like fishing (which I do) there are a bunch of locations on the Sevii islands that give it in Fire Red. Tanoby Ruins, Water Labyrinth, Resort Gorgeous, Trainer Tower etc... Could fish up some Seadra as well or even 1% Psyduck which is fun. Leaf green Has Remoraid I believe as its counterpart. Either way, great vid as always. Love seeing ya get another. Can't wait for when you get them all!
Congrats on the Ralts! I am doing a shiny DTQ right now in ORAS and I was considering Ralts as my psychic type. I however changed my mind I am going for the Story/Gift Latias. 3+ minutes PER RESET has been brutal. So, I think that you should hunt shiny Latias too! Join me in the pain.

The soft resets are not long, but it is a 35% chance, so you may run into some Zubat (50%) or even a Wooper (10%). Hope your luck gets better after all the phases!

I'd love to see you do the hunt for wild shiny Tauros in the battle pyramid. I know they are a bit of a hassle to set up, but I really like battle pyramid hunts and Tauros is such an iconic OG Mon for me that I'd love to see you hunt it. But no need to put you through Tauros in Safari Zone, cause that's probably a pain :D

If you haven't hunted Mantine or Qwilfish that would be great but I think someone like you would be up to the challenge for a Unown dex taking advantage of different IDs. Originally thought to jokingly ask you to hunt for that Pokedollar 500 Magikarp at route 4's Pokemon Centre but recently I encountered my first shiny Safari Zone Pokemon ever that I failed instantly - Scyther, so I would really love to see you try to get it as well while I'm desperately trying to reclaim it!
I'd love to see the XD Gale of Darkness Chikorita. I think Chikorita is underrated, and the XD hunt is very unique. Hope I win that capture card! Also massive congrats on Ralts! Been along the journey with you for a long time.
I'd recommend taking on one of Duking's trade Pokemon from Pokemon XD, particularly the Shuckle.
The resets are quick due to there not actually being a trade animation and the other options for Shuckle in Generation 3 are a little less than desirable (Colosseum's is an incredibly long reset, Emerald is rock smash is the Safari Zone, and the only other option is to modify the Altering Cave encounters). If you aren't too picky over which of the shinies you get, it's also easy to just cycle through the three of them each reset.

That's impressive patience you got there. I hunted off and on one system for a shiny piplup for the longest time, then when I got it one day, started hunting for every other starters I didn't have. I have 14 of 15 1/8192 shiny starters and Im hunting for Tepig now. Good luck on other hunts!

I can't imagine a two and a half year hunt. My longest were probably Dynamax Adventure (392) Kyogre and BDSP Briefcase Piplup, which lasted three months and went to nearly 6k

For a hunt I’d love to see, I’ll submit Route 118 for Electrike/Manectric. Love the black palette on Manectric in 3rd Gen! If you’re looking for a GameCube hunt, I think Shadow Sneasel would be cool. Best of luck on your future hunts!
Would love to see some kind of multi-fossil hunt! I don't know how possible it is, but in the future gens (particularly XY,) one of THE hunts to do is fossil resets because of the ability to replenish them- and I've always been curious as to what the outcome would be if you took a few gen 3 games (Ruby, Sapphire, FRLG, etc etc) and stack ALL of the fossils up on one system/file and get a ""mystery shiny""- the mystique of what shiny you get- and the fact of it being such a standout one no matter what- is really intriguing!
Although, if the setup for such a hunt is too tedious- I would definitely have to say Anorith or Lileep resets on RSE. Something about Fossil revives will always be exciting. :]
Congrats on 30 Phase Ralts! I'm in Golbat hell in Meteor Falls on Phase 15 with 133,000 RE, I'd love to see Shiny Bagon hunted with the new mic set up and for a DTQ. If anyone is a master of Golbat hell its you.
You finally got him! It was almost a relief seeing you get this. Also, you gotta go for Qwilfish. It's a shadow Pokémon in Colosseum but if you like fishing (which I do) there are a bunch of locations on the Sevii islands that give it in Fire Red. Tanoby Ruins, Water Labyrinth, Resort Gorgeous, Trainer Tower etc... Could fish up some Seadra as well or even 1% Psyduck which is fun. Leaf green Has Remoraid I believe as its counterpart. Either way, great vid as always. Love seeing ya get another. Can't wait for when you get them all!
Congrats on the Ralts! I am doing a shiny DTQ right now in ORAS and I was considering Ralts as my psychic type. I however changed my mind I am going for the Story/Gift Latias. 3+ minutes PER RESET has been brutal.
So, I think that you should hunt shiny Latias too! Join me in the pain.

A hunt I'd love to see you do (that I'd also like to do one day) is Relicanth! Underwater encounters are super cool and Relicanth's shiny is incredible!

I don’t need the capture card, but I REALLY want to recommend you hunt the 2% chimecho on Mt Pyre. I will allow repel trick! It would be epic!
Congrats on getting your Ralts. All that time getting phases seemed to have paid off. For hunts, I would like to see you hunt the Aron in pokemon XD. The soft resets are not long, but it is a 35% chance, so you may run into some Zubat (50%) or even a Wooper (10%). Hope your luck gets better after all the phases!
I would love if you hunted an Artisan Cave shiny Smeargle - especially if you taught it Transform for the showcase afterwards :)

Congratulations on the shiny Ralts! Really glad you got it after so long! For the Giveaway, a cool shiny hunt to do would be Colosseum Togepi! If that's inaccessible/not possible to do, I think the reclaim on shiny Dratini would be cool! (I do prefer trying for it for Safari Zone but Gen 3 Game Corner also work!)

I mean... Jirachi from the colloseum bonus disc would probably be my pick--just because it is the only legitimate way to hunt my all time favorite mythical.
