- Well kids, it's not always sunshine and rainbows in the world, and unfortunately for women, we tend to experience particular issues more often than men, like harassment and groping. While trying to exit the famous Khan El-Khalili market here in Cairo, I was disappointed and disgusted to find myself in this situation. Of course it's not the first time I've experienced this in my life and I doubt it will be the last, but it happens and I decided to be upfront about it here on my channel.

Yeah, he was definitely a scumbag. But I know most Egyptians aren't that way (there's bad people in any country), and this was thankfully the only time I experienced something like this since I've been living here. Thanks for supporting my channel 😊🙏

So sorry that happened to you. That guy was lucky you didn't knock him out. I went to Khan el-Kalili; it was way to crowded and hectic and the vendors were constantly trying to get my attention to buy their cheap junk. My group wanted to go back another night and I said "no way, once was enough."

I'm Egyptian, living in egypt and although I am 20 I'm not allowed to go out much not even to meet my friends most of the time I get catcalled and harassed often and it makes me feel absolutely disgusting about my body for days due to the graphic nature and specifications of the comments

Oh honey, I'm so sorry to hear about the level of harassment you receive when you go out, that is terrible and absolutely wrong, you should never feel bad about yourself or your body because some disgusting men and boys can't keep their dirty thoughts and desires to themselves.

We women must stand together and make it clear it is not okay to do something like this to us, and we will stand up for ourselves and voice these issues. @Gventures I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you! We've just come back from Cairo and absolutely loved it! We went to KHAN KAHILLI also during Ramadan it was in fact the first night it was insane! I actually felt rather overwhelmed at times...we went the Coptic Christian area before this! That was so calm and peaceful!! Take care of yourself....ps we have our place in Sharm El sheikh.
@@SuperRabbit36 Haha, yes a definite contrast from Coptic Cairo to Khan el Khalili 😅I love Cairo though. I just filmed a video last night in the market again for Ramadan, going to upload that Sunday. I have never had any issues like the one in this video, in the market or anywhere in Egypt for that matter, outside of this one incident. I love Khan el Khalili at night during Ramadan, the atmosphere is even more festive than usual.

Oh no 😅 well, I didn't intend to discourage anyone from going to Khan el Khalili because of this video, but whether you go or not is of course up to you. I actually really love all the markets here in Egypt, wandering the markets is something I really enjoy, and I have been back to this market many times after this incident, without issue. The market being this crowded was quite rare, but it was during Ramadan and at night, so people were out in force. Anyway, whatever you decide to do, there's plenty to see in Egypt, I hope you enjoy 🙏 And thanks for watching my videos! 😁

As you can see in the video, I am not so fazed by this happening, I've experienced much worse, it just pissed me off that I didn't know who it was at the time (so many people crowded around I wasn't sure who did it until looking at the footage later). I've been groped on the subway in NYC when it's crowded and many other place, it's not the end of the world. I just wanted to point out in this video that it's not always a picnic in the park for us women.

These types of acts should not be tolerated, and I assure you that if you shout/scream at him and ask for people's aid, they'd beat the shit out of that guy for you, just always remember to not stay silent about it and they'll back off immediately.
I wasn't silent as seen in the video, I said "who the fuck is touching me" and was looking around (it probably wasn't as loud to anyone viewing it because my mic is a shotgun mic which captures the most sound in the direction it is being pointed in, and when I was saying that it wasn't directly pointing at me) but I couldn't tell who it was in the crowded market and didn't want to accuse the wrong person and have them get their ass beat. Later upon reviewing the footage I realized the perpetrator, but in that moment in the market with people pushed around me in all directions, I did not know who it was. I certainly wasn't staying silent, I am not a timid woman and have had situations like this in the past where I did know who the perp was and was very vocal about it.

My apologies for what you've went through, and looking at it from your point of view, yea you were right it'd be hard to determine who it was. Based solely on your reply, you look like you know how to fend for yourself which is both great and unfortunately sad, sad because you have to keep your guard up when you're really here to enjoy some time off. Thank you, I also didn't mean to come off as too strongly worded or snappy, I just don't like when people get away with this kind of behavior so I'm frustrated I didn't know who it was in the moment and it pissed me off a lot while in the market. Since there was not much I could do however I just tried to get out as quickly as possible so I didn't run into the dickhead again or have some other jerk try something, as the environment was too crowded and crazy. Yeah, unfortunately these types of things happen to women all over the world far too often, I'm not young, timid or naive though so I can usually handle myself fine in a situation like this, but I know many other young women who freeze up or get scared and don't know how to react, and I feel very territorial about this and want to speak up for the women who can't and defend them. Anyway, I am having a great time in Egypt aside from that one small encounter and will continue to stay and explore and film and meet many great people, and I appreciate your kind words. Definitely need to film trying qatayef soon! I have so many videos I want to make it's hard to decide what to film next 😅

And definitely I try to show Egypt as plainly as I see it, without edits and covering up anything that happens, whether good or bad. I've always appreciated when other youtubers show what a country is like and not making some instagramy videos, so that I have a better idea of what I will experience when going to a new country, it's been very helpful to me in the past and I hope to do the same for other travelers. My content is a little scattered (tour videos one minute, then street food the next, then walking tours, etc.) but I like to show all the aspects of a place so I don't like to stick to just one type of video like walking tours, even though I've been told I should find my niche 😅. 26:20 and look at the exact 26:12 the dude in orange started it . Look at his posture and the sudden change in his left side while he is pretending to eat seeds. He was pushing half way with his left side as if he wanted out and suddenly backed off when she turned around, I am almost certain it was him. Also the woman to your left at that time she started to look at the both dudes not 100% sure if it was black jacket guy or orange shirt one but with the body motion most likely the orange dude started it.
Yeah it was definitely the guy in orange, I was only able to correctly identify him after watching this footage though. His mannerisms, creepy and slightly paranoid look after I said "WTF" all point to the fact it was him, and I'm pretty damn sure it was him. But while I was in the crowd, with people pushing all around me, and people taller than me, and not being able to see behind me very well, I didn't know in the moment or I would have done something about it. Guy in orange is a piece of trash.

You should do a video about traveling alone as a female in Egypt tips and things to avoid. Cause lots of girls are asking the question on Reddit if Egypt is safe for solo female travelers.

I am in Egypt as a single woman right now. It’s a beautiful country, but I don’t think I would visit alone again or recommend it for any other single woman. I have never been harassed and followed as I have here in Cairo and Luxor. If you ask a person working at an airport to show you the restroom they will put their hands out for a tip. Everyone is trying to scam u. My advice go with a tour or a group.
Oh, and everyone here saying go get a guide that does not work. Most of the guides are working in cahoots with the scammers, and they will take you to their families and relative stores and hike up all the prices for you.

Heheh, I don't want you to get the wrong impression of Egypt or even Cairo (though Cairo is pretty hectic compared to many other cities around the world). For example, if you go to the Siwa Oasis near the border with Libya, or Alexandria in the north along the Mediterranean Sea, or Dahab to the east near the Red Sea (all of these places in Egypt), you will find different vibes in all of these different villages, towns and cities. Cairo is a massive city sprawling for many miles in all directions and is home to more than 22 million people, so it's hectic for sure. It somewhat reminds me of New Delhi, India at times. But in this market especially, you will have a lot of people pressuring you to buy things (just like in India). Khan El-Khalili Market is famous in Cairo and many tourists visit this bazaar while they are here, and the men working in this market don't miss an opportunity to try and get a tourist into their shop. Check out the videos I made in Siwa, Dahab, Alexandria or even other parts of Cairo and it will seem less intense
@@Gventures I lived in Cairo in late 80s and early 90s,It was not this crowded.Ive been to Alex and Ismaelia.At least these are great Cities.But I love Cairo but it's too crowded and noisy.

I know most people don't like Cairo (at least most people I've met), but I do love the activity of the streets and the chaos, I guess I am just drawn to big, crazy cities. I recently bought a motorbike here in Cairo, and I think that is one thing I don't love, driving here. The traffic is insane. But I am still learning to drive and with little experience driving motorbike anywhere in the world, let alone here in Cairo, it's pretty intimidating😅

Harassment against women is one of our things in Egypt. especially in congested buys areas. our local women and young ladies are suffering since ages. can you imagine if you have to take that route back and forth every day, whether its public transportation or local market or even in public congested street festivals where a bunch of guys go there just to circle against a woman and harass them physically. police never supported those claims and usually blame goes on the woman at the end (whether for the way she dress or else reason). by the way, from this video you were harassed physically and if you understand the language, you will know you were harassed 100 times verbally.
Yeah I assumed I was being harassed verbally, but since I can't understand the language, what can I do. I'm a woman and have experienced this everywhere in the world, as have most women. I have had much worse happen to me, so I barely notice verbal harassment. It's not right, but welcome to the life of being a woman in the world.

Well, ain't that a peach of a story? Let me break it down for ya, folks. So here you are, minding your own business, trying to navigate the streets of Egypt during Ramadan. Now, this is supposed to be a time of spiritual reflection and self-discipline, right? But what do you get? A front-row seat to a little street theater called "Harassment and Gropin' Extravaganza."
I mean, come on, folks! Ramadan is supposed to be about restraint and respect. But it's like some folks out there took the "restraint" part as an invitation to just chuck their manners out the window. They're like, "Hey, let's see how uncomfortable we can make someone feel today!" It's like they turned a holy month into a month of "Let's Make 'Em Squirm."
And let's not forget, they're not just makin' you uncomfortable, they're treatin' you like some kind of carnival attraction. "Step right up, folks, and witness the incredible feat of ignorin' personal boundaries!" It's downright shameful that in a time that's supposed to bring people together, some folks out there are just lookin' for a cheap thrill at your expense.
So, don't let anyone tell you that harassment and gropin' during Ramadan is just a cultural thing. Nah, folks, it's a big ol' slap in the face to the very principles that this time is supposed to stand for. It's like they missed the memo on respect and common decency. And you, my friend, you're left standin' there wonderin' how something so sacred turned into a sideshow of shame.
Thanks for sharing the experience, and sorry about the harassment. I'm planning to visit Cairo during Ramadan, and many websites are suggest to spend night at Kan El-Khalili. It is really no much fun in the crowd. I would keep away from it.
Thanks man. It is what it is, some people are just garbage. But it really it is very beautiful in Khan el-Khalili at night during Ramadan! As you know, Ramadan lasts a month. The problem is, I went to the market during one of the last big nights of Ramadan when it was more crowded than I have ever seen it. And the market is huge, had I not gone down that narrow strip to get out and taken a different exit, it would have been better, but I was exiting near the opening to the local market Al Moski which lies directly across from Khan el-Khalili. To be honest, not many foreigners wander that far down in Khan el-Khalili. The market is a sprawling mess of narrow alleys and twists and turns that get more and more local the further you go, but most foreigners stay in the main entrance area near the mosques and where souvenirs are being sold and the streets are wider. The further in you go the more locals you will find and shops selling bolts of cloth and other every day items, no tourists or souvenirs. I don't want this video to deter you from visiting the market at night during Ramadan, because it really is something you shouldn't miss! Expect crowds (at night the market is always usually pretty busy, a tad more during Ramadan), but the atmosphere is very festive.

It's inevitable all over the world, camelpiss. In the 7 months I've been here I've had less physical harassment than I've had in other places around the world, NYC where I used to live I experienced more physical harassment than I have here in Egypt. Not sure if you're a woman or not, but in my experience as well as many other women I've met while traveling, these things are far too common. I like the way a woman from France I met here in Egypt put it: "Here they look at us like a piece of candy, but they only look or say something, I am not afraid of being hurt. In Paris I feel like prey, that I am being hunted, and I am afraid I could be attacked". I totally agree with her

I've had a great many bad experiences with men in the past and they were from not only different nationalities but various ethnicities and religions (or not religious at all). I think it has more to do with just being shitty humans.

I am planning to go back to Egypt this summer. last year I stayed in hotels, but this year I am planning to rent an apartment by AIRBNB because I want to invite my Egyptian friends to my apartment. I know if you stay in a Hotel if you are not a guess, you are not allow to get in. My questions is, AIRBNB owners in Cairo or Egypt, are they making obstacles if the tenant invite friends to visit? I know you are living in Egypt and have a better information about this. Could you please advice? many thanks in advance. Greetings.
Hmm, that's a very difficult question to answer. My short and safe answer would be no, but it depends on the Airbnb owner and all sorts of other factors. You know men and women are not allowed to be/rent in the same room (unless they are both foreigner i.e. not Muslim or Arab nationality) if they are not married, and are only allowed if they can prove it with a marriage certificate, right? So for example, say you have an Egyptian female friend and want to invite her over, they (perhaps the doorman) would likely not allow that. My experience with Airbnb's in Egypt, read all the house rules, some are more strict than others. Many times there is a doorman at Airbnb's in Cairo and they can present a problem as well. Now if they are all boys you are inviting over, that may not be a problem, depending on the host. If I were you I would message a few hosts and ask them, maybe say something like "Hi, I'm looking to spend several months in your beautiful apartment while I am in Cairo studying and learning more about the culture. This is not my first time in the country and I've made some friends the last time I was here, I was wondering if it would be allowed to have several friends over from time to time while I am staying in your apartment. A deciding factor into the apartment I choose to stay in for these several months has to do with being able to have a few friends over so we have a place to relax and study without having to find a coffee shop to do so. Please let me know whether this is acceptable for you, and thanks for your time!" Something like that. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions, as I could elaborate more on the Airbnb situation here in Egypt. Yeah Khan el Khalili is a lot of fun! I've made quite a few videos here, it's a great market to wander around it, shop, people watch, explore, get lost, etc. Unfortunate that that shit bag groped me, but thankfully it only happened this one time years ago. I've been to this market dozens of times after without issue, it was just during the end of Ramadan when this happened and the market was crazy packed. Also, it also happened on the outskirts of Khan el Khalili, it was basically almost Al Moski market, which is another market (a much more local market) which Khan el Khalili blends into. And if you pass through Al Moski, it eventually blends into another, extremely local market called Ataba. This area is a sprawling mess of markets and twisting narrow streets, like a maze. Well I'm not too surprised...it was a very crowded place, and I've had similar things happen in other countries like India and the US. Happened on the train while going to work in NYC, also very crowded. Shit happens everywhere, unfortunately not everyone is good. But thankfully, most people are! Thanks so much for your support. I am living in Egypt now and love it, I've spent 7 months here and had very few bad experiences, this was just a minor event, but yes, disappointing.

That market is huge. Had the pleasure of visiting Cairo in April of 2022. A matter of fact it was during Ramadan as well. I had a wonderful time there.
Yeah, I love Khan el Khalili, been here dozens of times after this incident (of course, I live here). Usually not a problem, but this one night at the end of Ramadan in the narrow alley letting out onto Port Said street, things went awry.
@@Gventures totally understand, me and my girlfriend felt very uncomfortable at times as well. Me and my girlfriend were in the middle of shopping during Ramadan in downtown Cairo and everything closed down because it was time to eat from what we were told. We were invited in to eat and the food was good but later we were taken into some hidden shops where we were shown things and felt forced to buy some of them. He wanted us to come back the next day and we told him we would but we really had no intentions on going back even though he meant no harm. We just didn't feel right being hassled to buy things we really didn't want. Now that I'm kind of understanding about Cairo there's many things I would do differently when visiting again. I highly doubt we would use any tour guides again there. They make you think that you actually need a tour guide and you really don't. I will just Uber everywhere I go once I return in the future.

Tour guides are not necessary, and most of the time they take you to shops where they are also making a commission, so even while you may be hassled less if you are with a tour guide, you are still being hustled by them 😅There's many ways to handle the vendors here, it really just depends on the approach you want to take, and in the end there's no way to stop them anyway. Depending on my mood, I may either ignore them, or I may say "la, shukran" with my hand over my heart and a small smile but only brief eye contact while continuing to walk, or I may speak and engage a lot more, but if I'm not planning on buying anything, I will tell them "I'm 100% not buying anything." Of course, they will tell you "No no, just look!" But I usually respond with "I'm just going to waste your time, I'm not buying anything" and they give up. But sometimes I have just met some cool vendors and had tea with them and bought nothing, and we chat for a little bit. But most of the time, it's better to not engage, because they are there to work and they are hoping to sell, of course. Either way, the markets are super lively and it can be a lot of fun

Hmm, I thought this was still Khan el Khalili. I know for sure across the big busy street near where I ended the video is where Al Moski is. I've made videos about Al moski and Ataba too. It's hard to know where one market ends and another begins, they all blend into each other 😅 I don't think my clothes had anything to do with being harassed though, it was winter 2 years ago and i wasn't wearing "catchy clothes," this was just a perverted guy who would have groped any girl. I live in Egypt and travel the world, I am very capable of traveling alone and don't need a local with me. I've actually been here in Egypt for 2.5 years now and rode solo across the country on my motorcycle last year. But I get your words are meant to be kind and give advice, so thank you. I do love Egypt, and one perverted idiot did not ruin the image or love I have for Egypt at all, because there are dirty bastards all over the world, unfortunately.

Later while reviewing my footage I realized who it was, but in the market while it was so crowded and tons of tall men around me, I couldn't identify who it was or I absolutely would have yelled at him and made a scene! I have had similar experiences in India and in NYC on the train, I am not shy and have always immediately made a scene in the past when this happened, but I couldn't this time because I wasn't sure who it was in the moment.

Totally disagree. First of all, nobody did anything because nobody knew, it was fucking packed in there and I didn't exactly shout or make a scene, because I didn't know WHO did it at the time. I've been living here for 2.5 years now and this was the only time I was ever physically harassed, I've experienced worse in other places around the world and experienced sexual harassment in general more often in NYC while I was living there. Theft is not very common here, again, its way worse in many other countries, you're making stuff up talking about pickpockets. If you were only in touristic areas then yes, you probably did meet a lot of scammers and aggressive vendors, because that's where they congregate.

I'm pretty well traveled, and also as a woman in general, I know avoiding alleys isn't a bad idea, or dark empty places, or apparently extremely crowded areas. Shit, I could just stay inside all the time 😆 Honestly got more physical harassment in NYC than I do here in Egypt. And blending in here in Egypt would mean I should wear a hijab, which Egyptian Christian women don't do, and even some Muslim girls. I could dye my hair black or something, but nah, I'm not gonna change things I like, just to blend in. I've had my hair this color for 14 years and I like. Hi dear😊. I am an ltalian woman close to her 50s and l have had some solo traveller experiences like yours😊. The "harassment" has always been a part of the trip, especially in this kind of markets (souk) or even at the hotel lobby by some receptionists (like saying they are very good at s*x etc). But as soon as you behave normally, like you and l do, thing never go out of control. I have walked with male guide around, so it might be a little safer, but never felt "in danger". Going back to Cairo in March as a solo traveller, let' s hope for the best❤.
Yeah I've had far worse, which is another reason my reaction was not so wild. I was surprised, pissed, couldn't identify the perp and just decided to get the hell outta there. I've traveled solo in many places and experienced harassment all over the world, this wasn't that big of a deal to me. I just uploaded it because I went to record the market that day, this happened, and I am honest about my experiences so I showed it. But I do feel very safe in Egypt, and this was the only physical harassment I have experienced in the 2 years I've been living here. More than I can say about NYC

I don't record myself for safety purposes, I do it for my UA-cam channel, and usually when I go to places I am NOT recording (of course, I have a life to live😅). This only happened once in over 2 years of living here, so, it's not like the camera somehow protects me. Clearly that guy didn't give a shit anyway.

Whoever thinks the world is not overpopulated should watch this video. Some people might think with so many people around an abuser would not dare to try groping a woman with so many there who might potentially defend her....but the same thing happens on the trains in Japan when people are squashed in like sardines unable to move...this is the time people are more helpless and most do not shout out i guess because either they feel shy to draw attention or because things could escalate or because they go into shock. This same thing happened to my Japanese ex and she didn't shout out either, so it just continued...and this was in her own country. At least you reacted to it on some level. Im glad you made it out ok. It's not a great advert for Egypt.. i think others around were mostly unaware except perhaps for a couple of other people close by...so hard for others to see unless you really yell your head off and make a scene... It's hard to know the right thing to do in such a circumstance in a foreign country where you might be the one who ends up being judged. But staying quiet while it happens won't stop it. So many men were giving you dark looks all through the video. My friend who is pretty and in her 20's was never given a moment's peace by the men in Egypt. I discussed this with my Egyptian guide in Cairo and he blamed it on too many men not having sex before marriage and also on a high level of poor education. That happens in specific countries that all have something in common and it's not Buddhism.
Please, don't misread the situation. I am a very loud and aggressive woman if need be who has no problem making a scene or shouting, and I have done this in India and other crowded places like NYC subway when this has happened to me. The reason I did not start shouting here is not because I am timid, but because I literally did not know who did it in the moment, and I did not want to point fingers at the wrong man and have an angry mob attack the wrong person. But yes, many women either freeze or don't want to make a scene, and I feel bad for these women because then it really is a scary situation where you feel helpless. You're right this video is not a great advert for Egypt, but I live here and make many positive videos and don't want to censor things or portray a fake image of something, so although most of what I experience here is positive, I think it's important to be transparent and also show the negative things that can happen here (or anywhere else in the world I might experience this). In regards to talking about gangs of men following a woman around, trust me, as a woman who has traveled the world, it doesn't just happen in countries that have "something in common and it isn't Buddhism", as you say. I had a gang of men following me and my cousin in Argentina (where my father is from) shouting baby and sexy in Spanish when we just went out to a corner shop to buy some snacks, my aunt made me change to big baggy clothes and I didn't understand why but I was glad she did after, because even wearing big baggy clothes we were harassed. It's happened to me in India, and it happens in other places too. I've been here a year and never had a gang of men follow me around, by the way. Not saying it can't or hasn't happened to women, but it hasn't happened to me in the year I have been living here, and I always wander around alone.
@@Gventures Thank you for your reply. I will remember it. I know you are right about India. Every time i begin to generalise, i find an exception pops up that teaches me not to do that. It's just that in my country there is a very big problem now with muslims grooming under-age vulnerable white girls and they do it in gangs. It involves thousands of men. But those men are mostly from Pakistan. Im sorry for bringing the subject back up about this event that happened months ago to you. I firmly believe, if something bad is destined to happen to a person, it will happen whether they travel the world alone or stay at home and never go anywhere. May God bless and protect you always.
@@ggghhjd Maybe you've heard about how the violence against women in countries in Latin America is a BIG problem. These men will follow women around in large gangs as well, and many times these women will be raped and murdered and left in a ditch on the side of the road. Let's not forget that there are terrible people all over the world and it doesn't matter which country you are from. I also agree with you that if something can happen in one country it can happen in another, most solo women travelers know this and always have it in the back of their mind. How would you behave in your home country? Would you walk down a dark alley alone at night? Would you walk down an empty area during the day, even? I have to keep this in my mind anywhere in the world, just as other women do. Being alone in an empty street is what is most threatening, because there is no one around to help you if you need it. This is a part of life when you're a woman, and it's so natural to me I don't even think about it anymore. And you don't need to apologize for bringing back this subject, to be honest it wasn't traumatic at all to me, I've experienced much worse in my life, it just pissed me off and I wanted to know who did it. I uploaded this video because I just wanted to show how these things can happen, even in a crowded market where you would hope someone would be too ashamed to do this. I just wanted to show the reality of being a woman. This isn't the only country where things like this have happened, as I mentioned, it's happened in my own country as well. I yelled at the guy in NYC because I knew it was him that did it, but he only got scolded by people on the train and got off at the next stop. I'm sure he has continued to harass other women since then.

When something happens in Egypt to a foreign person and they post it on social media
All of the tourist industry suffers in Egypt
They dont need negative publicity
All countries have they own issues

No, I have never worn the hijab, but I am sure if I did I would get less stares. My red hair sticks out anywhere in the world, but of course more so here. I do like my red hair though, I've had the same color for 12 years 😆 If you want to travel more "incognito" you could wear the hijab and get noticed less, probably.

This whole crowd gives off many indications that it’s not safe for a woman alone at this night market.
People are always like this in Khan el-Khalili market, many vendors (always male) saying stuff and trying to sell you things. I've been to this market at night dozens of times before AND after this incident without any issues, it just happened to be extremely crowded on a holiday in this video and this ONE man groped me. Obviously not okay at all, but let's not get it twisted and say it's the entire crowd.

But yeah, that's the world we live in, lots of mistreatment of animals (and humans too, if we wanna talk about that). Girrrrl I'm a very vocal woman and VERY aggressive if need be, so please don't make it sound like I am timid and just LET this happen. By the way, I know Egyptian women that DID have something similar happen and they were NOT vocal. And I didn't snatch his hand because it happened in seconds and there was no time, I felt it and then it was gone. I would have made a scene but I didn't know who it was, and I didn't want to accuse the wrong man and have a mob beat the wrong guy. I have had similar things happen to me in other places around the world and I've slapped mthrfrs and made huge scenes, so the reason that didn't happen this time isn't because I "handled it quietly" but because it was mere seconds and there was no time. If this hasn't happened to you before, I'm sure you can imagine a situation where you would not know and had no time to grab his hand. It's easy to imagine what you or someone else would do in your head, but another when you're actually there.

This looks like the absolute worst place to go shopping in Egypt I just do Amazon and ikea easier to stay in I just got here from America I use a wheelchair and this does not look wheelchair accessible
Oh I LOVE markets like this, not only in Egypt but all over the world. But yeah definitely not wheelchair accessible or at least not easy to navigate. Of course then online delivery makes more sense. A lot of Egypt is not wheelchair friendly though, not just the markets
@@Gventures yes much easier to just barbecue in my backyard and bring the beach to my apartment but I’m glad the Nile River Cruise is wheelchair accessible and I’m going with Memphis tours. They know how to navigate the city for wheelchair users so I’m grateful for that and also the wheelchair accessible cabs 🚕 with London Cab, but all in all I’m still very excited to see everywhere. I wanted to go to Sharm el sheikh but a lot of tik tockers are saying go to dahb and upper Egypt I have no clue, but we’ll see where the creator of the universe sends me next
