Back in the day, when I purchased my first home to live-in; that was Miami in the early 1990s, first mortgages with rates of 8 to 9% and 9% to 10% were typical. People will have to accept the possibility that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts.
I advise you to invest in stocks to balance out your real estate, Even the worst recessions offer wonderful buying opportunities in the markets if you're cautious. What Jay needs is a car engine fountain water feature at the entrance to give the place a little class.
Jay is a LEGEND and his car collection is absolutely amazing and his hard work and dedication his earned everything from it and one of the best comedians out there
From a guy that lived in his car at one point in his life to having a vacation mansion. Jay Leno is as real as it gets.
I've wondered if living in his car had anything to do with his car collection
@@nancywelsh2837 I think that had more to do with being a mechanic and working at a garage.
looks like a castle to me
Jay is a nice guy, thanks for showing it
Good on this program for bringing jays comedy into it lots of fun
I like that jay leno shares everything, his house, cars, motorcycles everyone can look and enjoy. Thank you Mister Leno. 👍
Jay is always working. Nothing was given to him. Bless him that he wants to make his wife happy.
Love things like this. Love Jay too. He is so funny. Wish I lived in that house. Beautiful, and a great view.
Jay is always good at playing the, "Aww, shucks. I'm just a regular guy who doesn't know much." While he has one of the greatest car collections in the world, and he buys oceanfront mansions just by driving past them. He doesn't fool me!
I don't think he's actively collecting any trinkets. They just happened to be there. 😃😃
@@bobinpune I think he was coming out to an annual car show he likes to attend every summer and saw this house over the years and decided to ask if it was for sale, turns out it was. It's the kind of house that doesn't show up on Zillow, you have to inquire separately. In this case he literally knocked on the door, the homeowner was not there, but one of the staff answered and got in contact with the owner.
Agreed he’s full of it
I don't think you get that wealthy being a talk show host.
I'm curious where he invested.
He’s main job was a talk show host and he’s obviously made investments
Thanks Jay for letting us get a peek very cool , you deserve It all !
Jay seems happy and what a beautiful house! It would be fun to hang out with him.
Yes but I'd just talk cars
EVERY King has his castle Jay your my king of comedy , always be blessed
I like how Jay got his dress blue jeans and t-shirt on for the appraiser's. Jay seems to be a very normal, down to earth guy.
Just an ordinary guy living in his ordinary 100 million dollar mansion.
You can be wealthy and still have humanity and class as I believe Jay does.
I believe that's called having "F-you money."
His snap button denim shirt was in the wash that day.
Or for the IRS.
Wow I love jay leno so glad that I found him again
I love Jay. More from his garage on UA-cam than anything else.
Not only was he a master of his craft for a long time. I take my hat off to Mr Leno. He took such good care of his family crew. A rare thing in Television/film.
Imagine being the caretaker of this awesome house.. Getting to live there 24/7/365 and Jay only shows up like ten days out of the year.. Lucky!
I’d like him to be there 365...✌🏼
I loved this! Thanks for sharing the beautiful home and collection inside.
Jay deserves EVERYTHING he has. He’s worked his butt off, kept his nose clean and stays his true self.
If only all celebrities could be like him.
I love him because he’s a car guy. A TRUE car guy! Gets his hands dirty, know the history and drives them.
Bravo!
This was so much fun to watch! God bless you Jay Leno and family
What a fantastic story. A beautiful thing to do for his wife.
WAY too much fun! Thank you Jay for sharing!!!
nice house Jay, when I was growing up my parents bought one house that had a bunch of old antique furniture/ my dad had to put in insulation (Michigan) because literally it had been someones "summer estate" or "summer lake house" and we were cold that first winter. Amazing stuff, we still have some of the pieces in the family from that house.
I saw you live in the 1980's on South Padre Island, looks like you are still having fun and going strong. Keep having fun, and thank you for sharing this part of your experiences.
That home is absolutely amazing and represents true Americana .. wow !
