My mom is actually getting one of these for Christmas! She is getting like 10k off with the friends and family discount so it is 100% worth the money for her 😂
I purchased a new 2023 Santa Fe back in March of this year after the 2024 models came out. It was just about $13,000 off the MSRP so was a great deal. It also has a normal torque converter automatic and a non-turbo engine (an SEL). I wish Hyundai had retained a non-turbo/non-DCT basic model for those of us that don't want the reliability issues Hyundai/Kia have with those technologies.
Consumers - NEVER EVER buy a Hyundai product or else you may be LEFT FOR DEAD just like me. I bought a brand new Santa Fe Hybrid Luxury in 2023 and my experience so far has been a nightmare to say the least. The vehicle has major safety issues (e.g.: vehicle failing to slow down/ stop on cruise control), providing photo & video evidence to prove the issue was not enough for Hyundai Canada to take immediate action and instead I have been left to battle this by sending it for a million diagnostics tests. Finally, I had no option but to take them the matter for arbitration (an alternative to a court). The judgement is coming soon but it is shocking that a manufacturer (& Transport Canada) would allow this to happen. This could have easily become a criminal case if an accident would have occurred and then I would have been blamed for it when it is truly a technical snag. If you buy their product, your safety and that of the public will be at risk and Hyundai would only be silent spectators! SHAME ON HYUNDAI FOR PUTTING THE PUBLIC & CUSTOMERS AT RISK ONLY TO MAKE $$$, ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!
@@blairbrown4812 they are also considerably larger and more expensive. And they are also body on frame vehicles as opposed to a unibody like the others.
i looked at a santa fe, and i was a bit disappointed with how they used all the room the shape gives you. center console too thick, and the third row makes the 2nd row feel cramped
It’s ok, but Hyundai’s are entry level cars, not luxury cars. This Santa Fe is good for those who have a small budget. I test drove the ‘24 Santa Fe before I purchased my Lexus. There is a huge difference. And the Genesis got a very poor rating by Consumer Reports. ☹️ You have to look beyond the gimmicky “niceties” and make sure you’re purchasing quality, reliability and a brand with an exceptional track record. A Toyota Highlander would be a much better choice.
Owned 2 Lexis G80’s and several Lexi’s 400 series. All great vehicles. I’ve owned 2 Kia SUV’s. Frankly the Kia’s has come a long way. Dollar for dollar I feel the Kia loaded is a better value. I’d admit I generally don’t keep a vehicle over 100,000 miles. Service is cheaper and the warranty is better.
I know plenty of wealthy people who buy value packed vehicles and also know car poor people who drive used range rovers but can't afford the maintenance cost
I make north of 300k, bought my hybrid last May. Very happy with it but I don’t buy cars for image. my calligraphy hybrid is the perfect kid grand kid hauler, averages 35 mpgs, with enough comfort features that I don’t miss my Lexus.
@@v12kingV10 you don't know that I know wealthy people working for the best company in new jersey " Johnson & Johnson" driving hyundai. My wife and I make decent money but we are driving hyundai. I know people driving Toyota they cannot change their tires set when needed, I know another one driving a brand rav4 XLE struggling to put gas or paying toll so people crazy stuff about car, I know people driving Audi Q7 but leasing apartment
They finally did it!!!! Been awaiting on this review
Oooh! I love a Rare Wednesday Muzio Family upload! I do think the boxy shape of the Santa Fe is a bit crazy! But still, an excellent overview!
I like that you mention the number of airbags. It helps to know.
Excellent video guys!😸
Two things: 1) Avoid the DCT, get the hybrid, much more reliable. 2) It needs at least 20% more H's on the vehicle.
I’m planning in buying this car and the other reason I won’t buy the non-hybrid is also the wheels that are 21’’
They did fix the dct issues thankfully

If Genesis does an even fancier version of their cars they should call them the Montblanc trim.

It’s an iihs top safety pick (not plus) because of it’s marginal rating for the updated moderate overlap test
I watched another reviewer who had this and the dealership bought it back because the transmission went out twice within 10,000 miles
Old news from car confections
The new calligraphy santa fe is very nice and also love the pricing on it also
We have a 2025 Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid and we love it.
Good to hear it!
Whoa this video came out early!

Does well as a family hauler but not as an off-roader (at least according to another review).
they removed the massage seats in the states for some reason
The real question here is if the Calligraphy trim is worth the monstrous additional cost over the SEL and Limited trims?
Reliable, that went out with the turbo, Then they give you a DCT how many transmissions has that killed?

What about the Lincoln Navigator? Or the Cadillac Escalade V?
Those are very different vehicles to this Hyundai or the competitors shown.
@ALMX5DP , it's my understanding that these are premium luxury vehicles.

Santa Fe used to be fancy designed, now it looks like van boxy designed
I almost bought it but when pointed out that rear looks like coffin. Don’t buy hyundai DCT cars.

What beautiful ass neighborhood is that?
Does any one knows how to put the tire pressure monitor on the dashboard
Last gen was so much nicer
If it has a Kia engine and trans, that's a hard no.

So this is the replacement for the (outgoing?) Palisade?
NO! Palisade is getting a redesign for 2026 model year. Look it up here on UA-cam. They already showed the new Palisade will look like in Korea.
If I put first, does it stop bots?
You have to be 2nd actually!

Then in that case, you are better off with a normal 3-row SUV like the Pilot, Palisade, or Telluride.
Stop trying to make the Santa Fe something that is not.

Giving me Ford Flex vibes.
$3000 for wheels, a suede headliner, and less seating…. Thanks.
Man Hyundai and Kia are nice for the price, but they have too many engine/transmission recalls. I would pass on them, until they get these issue fix.💯
Napa leather = baby hides. 🙄
Horrible from every angle.

Hyundai uses Tucson engine for Santa Fe 😂, big dude little heart ❤️😂 but overall the best value for money and absolutely high Tech 👍🦘
