Ian. thank you. TXG changed my life. I got a free education weekly. It helped lead me to my career in club fitting. From TXG having 5000 subscribers until now. I have watched almost every day. Forever grateful for all the wisdom that was imparted
Sad day for the channel. Ian broke down all info down well enough that even someone like myself totally understood way more than I should have or could have especially for someone that's 56 years old and only golfing for 4 years. The channel won't be the same in my opinion when Ian leaves. The interactions between Mike and Ian are priceless and will be greatly missed. Thank y'all for everything and hope the best for you in your new adventures.
Ian, thanks for the entertainment and the brilliant education, over the past 5 yrs or so that I've been watching. Can we expect/hope to see some ianfrasergolf-libertygolf colabs in the near future? Mikey has my vote for President 💪. The King is dead, long live the King ✊.
Thanks for the great information over the years. I finally decided to get a fitting and I chose Club Champion because of this channel. Looking forward to it.
txg club champion ian will forever belong to one of my biggest chapters in my life. this channel will never understand how significant it was for me to be able to get through this part of my life. thank you
Same here Simon. I now fit and build my own gear and, in doing so, have added another very enjoyable and satisfying element to my golf, thanks to these guys. I will miss the ongoing education (and entertainment), but will most likely cease watching TXG forever.
Sorry to see you go guys, you truly have taught me so much about clubs and have made me more aware of things about my equipment that has helped me so much. I have really enjoyed the banter, fun and way you present the gear. Gonna miss the 4 bags changes a year from Ian and young Mikey with that buttery swing. Good luck in your next ventures. hope it involves something where we can get to see you again.
Goofy is a horse, Pluto was the dog of Disney Boys' this ch has really gave me all the tech talk and has brought my game to another level. So nice to have you in our world for the very short time period. Really appreciate you guys and it was great time coming up for a putter fitting a few years back. All the best and good luck and enjoy your family
I don't think Mikey is leaving, but the loss of Ian's depth of expertise (and the banter between them) will make the channel unremarkable - just another one in the crowd on YT.
AskGolfNut is doing some really cool stuff with his testing. Showing performance at different swing speeds and different impact locations. You can see all the data too like Dynamic Loft, AoA, Landing Angle, and make an estimate yourself on what you might expect if you have a bit lower Dynamic Loft as an example.
Its Ian's and Mike's personalities and knowledge that have made the channel the success that it is, bringing in new guys under the Club champion logo good luck to them but there is way too many established content and equipment reviewers out there to compete against and for me I am so shaken by this news that I will probably give up golf entirely and just go back to the strippers and cocaine !!! Thanks boys and good luck to both of you !!!!
Angry UPS guy is pouring 40 ounces of Hot Tea for the Boys today. Selfishly we will miss you but we get it, change is part of life and this can't go on forever. And hey, I still use my TXG ball marker...
@@ianfrasergolf great news! Wish you all the best Ian! Watching your videos helped me learn about equipment and what would better fit my own game. I have started to build my own clubs as well as helping friends find equipment to help them play their best.
the most annoying part about youtube golf are the content creators taking their youtube success to their head then believing that they belong on the tour without understanding the amount of work dedication practice sacrifice it takes to be able to be some of the best golfers in the world. ie rick sheils gabby golf girl. these two dedicate some of their videos to express how much they feel like they can make it to belong with tour players. so annoying

thanks for all the fun and great videos guys you will be missed....
This channel will die, without Ian and Mikey the channel won’t last.

End of lock-up period. Next project. Well done.
And possibly maturing stock options.

I love that the channel was an outlet for you. Hopefully we’ll have something for you to enjoy in the not too distant future.
Hope you can all keep doing what we love you doing! Entertained me, and definitely led me to be a better player and amateur club builder.

@@rufussthoo4083 I was building before, just not always very well 🤣
But yeah, I do enjoy the build process immensely

I have a feeling that club champion will have to write off the goodwill value of the UA-cam channel once Ian and Mikey leave. Best of luck to both!

Good call. AskGolfNut is the gold standard of testing, in my view.
