Shad SH45 Topcase Backrest Installation

This backrest doesn't come with topcase. I bought the backrest 2 year after I installed topcase on my bike. This is an amateur installation video for who consider buying it. Thank for watching.

I have the sh45 and there is an edge all the way along the hinge. Will putting the backrest on the topbox stop a passengers back touching the edge there?
