Scott, I'd surely love to see video of that wiper motor overhaul, please................. it's been 42 years since I did my last one, and I'd like to refresh the ol' knowledge banks.
Some of the marine self parking electric windscreen wipers can be fitted with a regular arms or pantographic arms. Use Rain-x or a similar water repellent on the windscreen as well, it works extremely well, even apply it to mirrors and the drivers side / quarter windows.
I use rainex but when you hit snow you are blind. Must have a wiper for snow. Twice i had to pull off because the windshield covered with snow in mere seconds
Man i need to send you my air wiper motor the motor when it gets air on passenger side just goes hard left towards the left wiper and doesn’t move anymore Seems the motor is broken as that side of window I can manually move arm but drivers side of I try to move it that still work it moves less than an inch
I'm fighting the same valiant fight. Often, as I squint through the unwiped rain drops, I wonder why we don't just invest in electric wipers. But when it is not raining, my air wipers always work perfectly. At least we can reach up through the glove box and turn the passenger wiper manually.

Patrick Boudreaux Luke at us coach has replacements for $275 each. I converted my fishbowl to electric and they were about the same price range.
