Hi Philly, hope you are well. It's actually been a fairly dry day here in North Yorkshire, which is unusual to say the very least! Hope all is coming along okay with Marie and she is feeling like she is in a better place. The most recent music evening I went to was a Glam rock evening. They were a fantastic band who did everything from Slade to David Bowie. For me, the really interesting thing was, one of the main singers was Brian Connolly Jr. His dad was the lead singer of The Sweet, who were huge during the early to mid 1970's. Well, Brian Jr did not disappoint, he put on an amazing show, in fact the whole band were fantastic! A Tuesday treat for us from Sarah, 2 stellar performances, does it get any better?? I don't think it does Philly! Dave
Hi, Dave.It's so good to hear from you.I know the weather.It's not too cheery on the other side of the pond, Fortunately, we have had 2 days in the mid-seventies here in new jersey Sunny and warm. Our friend Gary in North London told me today that it was hailing wow. So Glad you enjoyed the music venue. Marie is getting around. She is able to drive now.Thank you for asking. We had 2 great songs today from Sarah. We went from The Beatles to Frank Sinatra. Doesn't get much better than that. Everything else is pretty good Dave, Always great to hear from you. Philly 👍

This brings back memories as I was 15 when this single and flip side "Daytripper" were battling each other for no. 1 on the charts and "Rubber Soul", "Revolver" and "Sgt Pepper" would all be out in less than a year!! For Beatles fans this was HEAVEN!! I can't stop watching your videos they are all so good!!

Paul wrote this song to his girlfriend at the time, Jane Asher. If only the Beatles had followed this advice when they were splitting up four years later. Thank you Sarah for an outstanding Beatles cover. The song was originally released as a 45 single with Day Tripper. Two great tracks.

Double A sided single from the Fab Four. Pretty much everyday I listen to the Beatles or one of their solo recordings. This was a great rendition Sarah, once again showing amazing versatility. Thank you Sarah X
Dave, you have wonderful taste in music if you listen to The Beatles or their solo work every day. Remember every single was a tsw "two- sided winner". The radio stations would play both sides as each song was a huge hit. I think Day Tripper was on the flip side of this song. Between Sarah, The Beatles, and solo work. This is the most awesome music you could listen to.

I really can't overstate just how important the Beatles are in the in the music world, their evolution as a band was staggering. All the 45's that they released were effectively double A sides, your totally correct in your comments, the Radio stations could not get enough of the Fab Four! Always enjoy reading your comments Garry, you have a huge knowledge of music and I often pick up new snippets of information from your comments. As for Sarah, she really is an incredible singer, her vocal range really staggers me, she can sing anything, as you say Songbird! Hope your day has been a good one Garry. Best wishes Dave

Sarah's Dad Phillip and yours are the ones I can relate to the most. I was fortunate enough to see Paul in 1976 with Wings. I also saw him in concert in 1993 when he toured with Hamish Stuart, Wix Wickens, and Robbie McIntosh. I saw George Harrison in 1974 with the Dark Horse tour. I live 40 miles west of Chicago, so I was close to great concerts. You are correct in saying, my favorite band was The Beatles. There will never be a band that shaped the world of music as they did. And to think they did it all in about 6 years. I would love to hear Sarah sing the complete Beatles catalog. Sincerely, Garry

Nice to see your still singing on UA-cam. I was watching Michael mcintyre and I was scratching my head for ages....where do I know her from??? Then they said Harrogate, I thought do I clean her windows? Nope...how do I know her face? Then you started singing....ahhhh it's the Motown and northern soul lass off UA-cam. I got into listening to her in lockdown haha well done on the show you were brilliant...even I cried haaa 😂 lovely fam and you absolutely rocked it!!! My dad has same alarm on his phone for his tablets that made us laugh 😭😭😭

You are a Awsome singer.Thats great that You were able to go through that and become healthy and sing again.I had stage 4 rare,,metastasized,,basil cell squamous cell carcinoma of the lungs.It was treatable not curable but I work out and eat clean and had Keytruda every 3 weeks for 4 yrs and now it's gone so miracles do happen.Great voice I look forward to checking out all Your other songs,,Good Day to You
