Wow Mark Pakin, your acting is just next level. I cried at the end. Mark’s ability to have subtle expressions translate so well on screen is sooo incredible. His eyes speak so much, just you feel his pain, his love for Boston and his heartbreak and jealousy. Neo also is a force to be reckoned with, he is shining in Only Friends. These two are the stand outs for me, of course FirstKhao are great as always. But seeing as this is NeoMark’s first series as somewhat leads…they are absolutely crushing it! ❤️
I agree with you, Neo’s acting is really really shine. Like everytime I see him manipulating others, I want to punch his face real bad because my blood is boiling 😂 Mark is awesome , I can’t believe this is his first main role ever?? The boy has so much talent in him and the way he delivers all different kind of emotions with his eyes in just one ep is 👏 NeoMark’s first main role is a WOW for me. Their acting skills are main characters, not just a side role to support others. They deserve much more than that. Thanks for this series to discover their talent, otherwise who knows they may be hidden forever under GMM’s basement lol KhaoFirst is chef 💋 as always. Their chemistry from real life to the series is in different level and I really do enjoy watching their scenes when they are together. Them and NeoMark’s are the main reason I watch Only Friends. I'm so impressed with Mark! He can convey more with a look than ten pages of dialogue. And Neo too. He's showing much more depth as an actor than I was expecting. What a soap opera this is! Really enjoying this.

Can't get enough of Sand and Ray's dynamics. Time and time again, First and Khaotung prove that they are amazing actors. Their eyes alone are enough to carry this industry I swear
I'm living for SandRay scenes, I can take all the toxicity and stress from this series as long as I can watch their out of this world chemistry. FirstKhaotung are nailing their roles! Also, the fact that I hate Boston with a passion says a lot about how impressive Neo's acting is.

I don't know who came up with this idea, but this is brilliant, putting the GMM boys together in one series, letting them make out a lot of times with almost all and letting their characters be connected with different story lines, love it
You can thank the director, Jojo Tichakorn, for 'Only Friends'! A couple of years back, he mentioned this as one of his dream projects when talking with his friends on their video logs. He wanted to create a sort of spiritual successor to two of his previous series 'Friend Zone' and 'Gay OK Bangkok', but mixing them together and casting younger actors with BL acting experience. And he finally found three pairs of excellent actors who were up for a more serious, grown up story! They're all killing it!

I love how every episode has a different "style" (I'm not sure if that's the right word lol), Like ep 1 we had Mew narrating, ep 2 we had the confessionals, and now in ep 3 we have the social media posts. I think it's really interesting! Can't wait to see what's next!
And it also fits the characters personalities as well because Mark is on the tech side using social media to help with his delima the credit also ends with him as well while episode 1 had New and Episode 2 had Ray in the credits
God damn, First and Khao have improved so much. I am fan of First's expressions since Eclipse and you can clearly see how well First potrays all his feelings through his eyes. Love the way his face drops when Ray answers the phone and decides to leave, Ray and Sand have amazing chemistry. Talking about Neo, he is such an amazing actor. From being funny side character in Fish upon the sky and now we are here. I wanna see more of RaySand chemistry!!

I just want the creators of this show to know they’re doing everything right - from the script, the dialogue, the depicting of complicated relationships down to the lighting and the shots, the music used in every episode that is not annoying at all but actually nice to listen to and shows good taste 👌 I never even skip the opening credits!

He always shows that “I know” kind of look so I feel that both eventually will fall in love with each other but both their past (Top with his previous partners including Boston and Mew with Ray (whatever is in that video)) will haunt them eventually. I feel Top will fall harder despite the original trailer showing Mew being heartbroken. I trust that Mew will be strong enough to live for himself whether it be ending with Top or not. I just hope Mew won’t cling on to Ray just because he needs his friend.

"I don't have the right to be upset" and Sand's expression when he left broke my heart. but the way Ray SMILES when Sand is kissing his neck or body? 😩 Ton wants Top THIS badly after a one-night stand, so much that he'd do these terrible things to his friends? Am I missing something?🧐 THE CAR SCENE. I can't believe this is only the third episode. Such a rollercoaster. The acting and production are incredible 👏

Can I just talk about how I love how effed up this series is? Like I didn't know how sick and tired I was of cheesy romcoms until I watched THIS, it's toxic and I'm obsessed.
I’m so relieved that Nick is not naive after all. Also, my favorite couple so far is Ray and Sand. The chemistry is there but they both don’t know it so I’m excited to see how it’ll develop
Sand went through all sorts of emotions in this episode. First, Ray made him a bit annoyed but secretly flattered. Then he saw a dude he dislikes and gave the finger. Later, he felt intrigued by Ray and went against his own instincts. Then, Mew's phone call interrupted them and you could feel the dismay radiate from him, only to be replaced with a pang of jealousy when Ray dumped him in order to take care of his friend. And this is even worse for Sand, since he's decided not to fall in love with Ray but probably senses at the back of his head that he's becoming a bit too weak to Ray's flirting. Every time Sand appears to tell Ray off, it's actually himself he's addressing.
On the other hand, it's Sand who wanted only "friends with benefits" thing. He suggested it. Ray was the one "chasing" him. Also Sand isn't stupid, he knows Ray has a thing for Mew so it's expected that -for now- Mew is his friend & priority.

I like the Sand Ray dynamic the best because it is the most true to life. Most gay guys I know have played these kind of games, and been played as well.

I think Sand's problem is that his head wants one thing but his heart wants something else, and he's trying so hard to ignore that but it's not quite working. Neo acting has improved tremendously, at one point of the show I was angry with his actions which means he has portrayed this character so well that I forgot he was once that goofy supporting actor in other dramas. Love your acting and GREAT job Neo!

Realistically I know Ray is a red flag but I'm color blind!!! Khaotung is just so unbearably charming, I can't help but love his character too. There's so much depth to his acting and an appeal that is his alone. Can't blame Sand for being delusional and falling for his tricks TT
Well i agree with you. Ray may be a red flag & i generally don't like yo watch these type of series which has toxicity, betrayal, cheating, red flags, .... Its personally triggering for me . I'm watching it just bcz of first, khao & neo.... Bcz i liked them from the eclipse series. & as you said i'm ready to be colourblind for khao & first. Also i feel everyone will turn out to be red flag in this series.... Now its mostly ray, top & ton who seems to be red flags but i guess there can be a twist & in future we may see sand, mew & nick as red flags....

Everyone is playing their roles so well that they are able to make us love, hate, laugh and cry everything. What a show... Mind-blowing job everyone. I just love it.
On a technical note - I think this is one of the few GMMTV series I've seen where the end title card is an actual scene (rather than recap scenes from the series/opening credits). And I think it's a delightfully delicate touch to pull us into Nick's headspace. On the topic of Nick - the poor baby! Mark is doing such a fantastic job with this role, I can't help but feel sorry for Nick, while also thinking, "This is why you don't mess with someone who knows their way around IT hardware" and cheering for his spying. It's not the healthiest approach to a potential relationship, but if Nick really wants to dive into a relationship with someone like Boston, he definitely needs the ammo to protect himself.
I love how Sand is trying to create boundaries between him and Ray, am very sure Ray is going to keep leaving Sand for new in a crucial moment that why Sand asked Ray to focus on him for once 😭😭😭 my heart is already breaking for Sand 💔💔💔💔😭😭😭
Episode three made my jaw drop several times... first of all, the spicy scenes are very well done!!! And then just how every character now is slowly showing their true colours and intentions. The way how Boston played with Ray and Top worked out perfectly for him. I mean, he got into the sheets again with Top (unbelievable how little it needed for Top to disregard Mew just because he was potentially not the first one to conquer Mew?!) and Ray didn't even give it a second thought if he should stay with Sand or go to Mew. Sand's eyes said it all, how hurt he was when Ray said he would be there right away for someone else. Sand's eyes kinda showed a mix of "pain" and "i knew it". I mean he knew from the beginning what a difficult character Ray is, so I guess a part of him knew what he was getting himself into but still this dick-move hurt like a bitch. And at the end Nick standing there not only watching but actually listening into what was happening between Top and Boston was awful but also he kinda put himself into this position. He's just in too deep to let go of Boston I guess. I wonder what he will do next? Is his mission to change Boston, or will he take revenge in some kind of way? Arrrrgh I want the next episode like right now!!!

After watching the series, I have to say that BostonNick is the most intriguing couple for me at the moment. Boston is a bit of an ass, but the chemistry is GOOD. They are killing it
this show is already so incredible compared to other BLs i've watched. the actors have improved and are soso amazing at their career. first's expressions, how neo has chemistry with literally all of his co stars, and so much more. i love that this BL isn't only about sex like other mature BLs are. this one has actual emotion and shows how complicated relationships can be.

First is not crying yet, and his crying scenes are always my favorite, but his acting over all is really great. I mean, the disappointment, the betryal, his face holds so much details of those emotions. He is an ACTOR.
The ending credit scenes are creative and emotive yoooo - minimal yet impactful. Loving. It. All round seriously brilliant work/performance from EACH and EVERYONE of the Only Friends crew and cast!! And blOOdy HElll!! What a show so far! Each episode, me heart is close to imploding! The squeals, the stress, the sighs, the shocks, the self-smacks...
I didn't see anyone talk about Force's acting here so imma do it. He did an excellent job here portraying multiple emotions. With only his facial expressions and the look in his eyes, you could see he was first in disbelief, then saddened, dumbfounded and angered.

YES GMMTV GIVE US TOXICITY!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that it should be normalized, what I'm amazed about is how GMMTV is upping their game, staying away with cheesy stories and exploring more on mature stories. I love this one. It's new and fresh (atleast for thai BLs) and I can't wait to see the character development of each character. And BTW, Neo I love you so much but I hate your character here and it's a good thing because you're portraying the role so damn good.
I'm so invested in this. One couple makes you scream of joy, the other makes you wanna cry and the other other keeps you waiting and anxious. They all play really well their mischievous and emotionally complicated roles. For Now i simply enjoy this serie that is giving equal screentime to all actors and couples (something I've never seen so well divided). And I'm enjoying also the camerawork and the story development, especially the one of the SandRay couple. Also Kudos to Neo for his impeccable acting skills, being "the hated guy" isn't the easiest thing. Can't wait to see more and see how this will go on!

I love the soundtrack of this show, it’s fricking good, it fits every scene perfectly, and seeing all this actors having this roles is making me die of happiness, I’m so proud of them. This show is not letting me down, it gets better and better and it was so worth it waiting all this months for it. Also let me just add, Boston is the source of all this conflict, if the man could keep it in his pants and not be so selfish trying to steal someone else’s boyfriend. And Ray, Sand and Nick are just innocent bystanders suffering because of Top and Boston, you know the characters are well written and the actors are good when you hate and love them at the same time
I love the way Ray looked at Sand like he's the only person in the universe at the party in front of his so-called 'crush' (Mew)... And it breaks my heart to see the hurt in Sand eyes when Ray said "where are you, I'm coming" on the phone... And Ray's face when Sand said "I don't have the right to be upset with you. Besides, I think it's a good idea if we just stop at a one-night stand like before". Ray has already fallen or he feels something for Sand and he doesn't realize yet.. As for Sand, we already know that he's so whipped over Ray.. 😂

The best revenge Mew could get is cutting them both out of his life and not looking back. Even if Top did it because Boston told him half truths he still believed Boston over Mew when Boston made it clear on multiple occasions that he wanted to sleep with Top and that Top should just sleep with Mew, dump him and move on. I do feel a bit bad for Top since he'd been trying so hard to change and be with Mew, but how easily he believed Boston over Mew bugs me, just with a video from 2 years ago of Mew and Ray kissing when he's literally slept with Boston since then? Double-standard. Makes it seem like Top is partially interested in Mew *because* he's a virgin.
Marks and Neos facial expressions hit deep.. they're full of emotions. I'm always on the edge of my seat when a szene with them comes. What a series, can't wait for the next episodes

Wow Mark Pakin, your acting is just next level. I cried at the end. Mark’s ability to have subtle expressions translate so well on screen is sooo incredible. His eyes speak so much, just you feel his pain, his love for Boston and his heartbreak and jealousy. Neo also is a force to be reckoned with, he is shining in Only Friends. These two are the stand outs for me, of course FirstKhao are great as always. But seeing as this is NeoMark’s first series as somewhat leads…they are absolutely crushing it! ❤️

NeoMark’s first main role is a WOW for me. Their acting skills are main characters, not just a side role to support others. They deserve much more than that. Thanks for this series to discover their talent, otherwise who knows they may be hidden forever under GMM’s basement lol
KhaoFirst is chef 💋 as always. Their chemistry from real life to the series is in different level and I really do enjoy watching their scenes when they are together. Them and NeoMark’s are the main reason I watch Only Friends. They are great actors 👍
I'm so impressed with Mark! He can convey more with a look than ten pages of dialogue. And Neo too. He's showing much more depth as an actor than I was expecting. What a soap opera this is! Really enjoying this.

I don't know who came up with this idea, but this is brilliant, putting the GMM boys together in one series, letting them make out a lot of times with almost all and letting their characters be connected with different story lines, love it
You can thank the director, Jojo Tichakorn, for 'Only Friends'! A couple of years back, he mentioned this as one of his dream projects when talking with his friends on their video logs. He wanted to create a sort of spiritual successor to two of his previous series 'Friend Zone' and 'Gay OK Bangkok', but mixing them together and casting younger actors with BL acting experience. And he finally found three pairs of excellent actors who were up for a more serious, grown up story! They're all killing it!

God damn, First and Khao have improved so much. I am fan of First's expressions since Eclipse and you can clearly see how well First potrays all his feelings through his eyes. Love the way his face drops when Ray answers the phone and decides to leave, Ray and Sand have amazing chemistry. Talking about Neo, he is such an amazing actor. From being funny side character in Fish upon the sky and now we are here. I wanna see more of RaySand chemistry!!

I just want the creators of this show to know they’re doing everything right - from the script, the dialogue, the depicting of complicated relationships down to the lighting and the shots, the music used in every episode that is not annoying at all but actually nice to listen to and shows good taste 👌 I never even skip the opening credits!

He always shows that “I know” kind of look so I feel that both eventually will fall in love with each other but both their past (Top with his previous partners including Boston and Mew with Ray (whatever is in that video)) will haunt them eventually. I feel Top will fall harder despite the original trailer showing Mew being heartbroken. I trust that Mew will be strong enough to live for himself whether it be ending with Top or not. I’m so relieved that Nick is not naive after all. Also, my favorite couple so far is Ray and Sand. The chemistry is there but they both don’t know it so I’m excited to see how it’ll develop
Sand went through all sorts of emotions in this episode. First, Ray made him a bit annoyed but secretly flattered. Then he saw a dude he dislikes and gave the finger. Later, he felt intrigued by Ray and went against his own instincts. Then, Mew's phone call interrupted them and you could feel the dismay radiate from him, only to be replaced with a pang of jealousy when Ray dumped him in order to take care of his friend. And this is even worse for Sand, since he's decided not to fall in love with Ray but probably senses at the back of his head that he's becoming a bit too weak to Ray's flirting. Every time Sand appears to tell Ray off, it's actually himself he's addressing.
On the other hand, it's Sand who wanted only "friends with benefits" thing. He suggested it. Ray was the one "chasing" him. Also Sand isn't stupid, he knows Ray has a thing for Mew so it's expected that -for now- Mew is his friend & priority.

In the preview It looks like after Boston and Nick have sex, Boston comes back in the room and Nick is holding two phones. So I think Boston catches him, but I do not care. Boston has been selfish about lying and manipulating to get Top to have sex with him again. I hope Nick cuts-off Boston, and Mew leaves Top.
Neo acting has improved tremendously, at one point of the show I was angry with his actions which means he has portrayed this character so well that I forgot he was once that goofy supporting actor in other dramas. Love your acting and GREAT job Neo!

On a technical note - I think this is one of the few GMMTV series I've seen where the end title card is an actual scene (rather than recap scenes from the series/opening credits). And I think it's a delightfully delicate touch to pull us into Nick's headspace.

Mark is doing such a fantastic job with this role, I can't help but feel sorry for Nick, while also thinking, "This is why you don't mess with someone who knows their way around IT hardware" and cheering for his spying. It's not the healthiest approach to a potential relationship, but if Nick really wants to dive into a relationship with someone like Boston, he definitely needs the ammo to protect himself.

I also think there will be alot of hearbreak for Sand, but Sand and Ray are the only "couple" so far that I want to survive this series.

Boston es la manipulación hecha persona pero que haríamos sin el, le da alma a la serie. Neo es increíblemente talentoso en este papel.
Episode three made my jaw drop several times... first of all, the spicy scenes are very well done!!! And then just how every character now is slowly showing their true colours and intentions.
The way how Boston played with Ray and Top worked out perfectly for him. I mean, he got into the sheets again with Top (unbelievable how little it needed for Top to disregard Mew just because he was potentially not the first one to conquer Mew?!) and Ray didn't even give it a second thought if he should stay with Sand or go to Mew. Sand's eyes said it all, how hurt he was when Ray said he would be there right away for someone else. Sand's eyes kinda showed a mix of "pain" and "i knew it". I mean he knew from the beginning what a difficult character Ray is, so I guess a part of him knew what he was getting himself into but still this dick-move hurt like a bitch. And at the end Nick standing there not only watching but actually listening into what was happening between Top and Boston was awful but also he kinda put himself into this position. He's just in too deep to let go of Boston I guess. I wonder what he will do next? Is his mission to change Boston, or will he take revenge in some kind of way? Arrrrgh I want the next episode like right now!!!

this show is already so incredible compared to other BLs i've watched. the actors have improved and are soso amazing at their career. first's expressions, how neo has chemistry with literally all of his co stars, and so much more. i love that this BL isn't only about sex like other mature BLs are. this one has actual emotion and shows how complicated relationships can be.

First is not crying yet, and his crying scenes are always my favorite, but his acting over all is really great. I mean, the disappointment, the betryal, his face holds so much details of those emotions. He is an ACTOR.
The ending credit scenes are creative and emotive yoooo - minimal yet impactful. Loving. It.

I didn't see anyone talk about Force's acting here so imma do it. He did an excellent job here portraying multiple emotions. With only his facial expressions and the look in his eyes, you could see he was first in disbelief, then saddened, dumbfounded and angered.

I'm so invested in this. One couple makes you scream of joy, the other makes you wanna cry and the other other keeps you waiting and anxious. They all play really well their mischievous and emotionally complicated roles. For Now i simply enjoy this serie that is giving equal screentime to all actors and couples (something I've never seen so well divided). And I'm enjoying also the camerawork and the story development, especially the one of the SandRay couple. Also Kudos to Neo for his impeccable acting skills, being "the hated guy" isn't the easiest thing. Can't wait to see more and see how this will go on!

I love the soundtrack of this show, it’s fricking good, it fits every scene perfectly, and seeing all this actors having this roles is making me die of happiness, I’m so proud of them. This show is not letting me down, it gets better and better and it was so worth it waiting all this months for it. Also let me just add, Boston is the source of all this conflict, if the man could keep it in his pants and not be so selfish trying to steal someone else’s boyfriend. And Ray, Sand and Nick are just innocent bystanders suffering because of Top and Boston, you know the characters are well written and the actors are good when you hate and love them at the same time

And it breaks my heart to see the hurt in Sand eyes when Ray said "where are you, I'm coming" on the phone... And Ray's face when Sand said "I don't have the right to be upset with you. Besides, I think it's a good idea if we just stop at a one-night stand like before".
Ray has already fallen or he feels something for Sand and he doesn't realize yet.. As for Sand, we already know that he's so whipped over Ray.. 😂

The best revenge Mew could get is cutting them both out of his life and not looking back. Even if Top did it because Boston told him half truths he still believed Boston over Mew when Boston made it clear on multiple occasions that he wanted to sleep with Top and that Top should just sleep with Mew, dump him and move on.
I do feel a bit bad for Top since he'd been trying so hard to change and be with Mew, but how easily he believed Boston over Mew bugs me, just with a video from 2 years ago of Mew and Ray kissing when he's literally slept with Boston since then? Double-standard. Makes it seem like Top is partially interested in Mew *because* he's a virgin.
