    :QOD: I am Italian 🇮🇹.
Diadora is a well know brand in Italy, for both lifestyle and sport shoes. Interesting is the fact that the CEO is Gelindo Bordin, a former elite marathoner: one of the only 2 italians that ever won a marathon gold olympic medal, and also won Boston!
Excited to see them grow and expand also abroad.
They also did make a carbon plated shoe, the Equipe Corsa, excited to see how they compare with the rest 🇮🇹

Hi seth I 'm italian runner, I lived in Tuscany . Finally some italian company moved to create a decent running shoes . Italian shoes is famous for fashion or tennis shoes ( lotto for example) but it's difficult to find a company that creates running shoes in italy especially road shoes despite La sportiva does great trail shoes . But diadora starts to move to create a new things and in the future I hope to see more Diadora's running shoes

The Volo by Diadora was a pretty popular shoe when it was released sometime in 2020. Diadora is popular in the Philadelphia area since that's where the only US headquarters are located! The brand is super supportive of small brick and mortar stores which I like!

NIce - Diadora (dee-a-dora) has always made good stuff, mainly tennis and soccer shoes. Looks like a Dia-Hoka model from them. And yeah I've always found the Italian brands (Sportiva, Scarpa, Diadora) on the narrow last style, hard to wear save for a few recent models (Sportiva Jackal, sized up one full size).

QD: Puma. They made a very nice (re)entry into the road running scene with their nitro line-up. Signed some big athletes as well. And their shoe price/value ratio is great, ensuring other companies will want to do the same to stay competitive.

In Australia Diadora has been around for several decades. I had a pair or two in the mid 80s, and I believe I ran my half marathon PB in a pair. They sponsored (now Sir) Sebastian Coe in the mid 80s, so they had some capable shoes. But then they kind of disappeared for some time outside of tennis/ football. They're back here in a small way, but more department store joggers.

I really like Diadora. I like the Diadora Volos a lot. I’ve gotten to try them through my running club twice and I’m buying a pair later today because both times I ran in them I PRed at our meetup. They tend to run narrow but long. So if you have narrow feet, you might need to 1/2 size down. But if you have wide feet (like me) same size or even 1/2 size up.

I'm keeping a close eye on Saucony as they roll out their endorphin line version 3 and possibly a new CFP shoe, as well as Asics with the Novablast 3 & Metaspeed sky 2. BUT! Killian just left Solomon to start his own company?! Very excited for what he's got planned.
It is great to see a shoe made in the country it was developed but unfortunately that's going to effect the price point BIG TIME. These shoes are probably retailing at $180+. Worth it? We'll find out.
And for Mammut? Love this company! They are big in the alpine scene. I used their gear often when I was heavy in to rock climbing. Would love to see them break in to the running scene too. Their gear is bulletproof.

QOD: In the trail running space, I believe that VJ is an up-and-coming company that deserves more visibility. I prefer their new VJ Spark to my Salomon Sense 7 SG. Not as narrow, more flexible, better grip and more stable, albeit with a little more weight. I read great things about the VJ Ultra and they are coming out soon with a winter spike model… great for Canadian winters! Otherwise I can’t wait for Salomon to release their SG version of the Pulsar. I saw a picture of it at a small store. Will be all black!
