Hi evelina please answer this, where is you shoe displayer with the lights build in from? I have been looking everywhere on Ikea, but i could not find it!
I feel another unhealthy habit is buying clothes without trying them on. I used to do that a lot because changing my clothes in the dressing room would always mess up my hair. But I'd go home and realize that the piece didn't fit well.
so true, but it does make it difficult to shop online for new stuff. It's safe to only buy online the brands that you have worn before so you are sure of your size.
I often try on clothes without realising the dressing room is very dim lighted or that the lights are slightly yellow toned - or when they don't have a secondary mirror so you can see how it fits from the back. This leads to disappointment since the colour or fit looks different than it did in the store.
Charlene Jo I wish I could say the same but being a petite woman the size of a 12 year old...can be difficult. For example blouses or tops from stores like Target, Forever 21 and H&M tend to be a lot bigger than the size they have sewed on to it. It might say extra small but it looks like a medium on me 😑😑😑
I was nodding my head the entire time LOL. I agree with all of these points, I love that some issues were towards unhealthy habits with your body. Fashion does not mean sculpting your body to fit a dress, but making the best of your pieces and choosing what suits your body.
Love the video, it shows that You and Chriselle are so normal. You don't follow fashion blindly, just to be fashion. You do it for yourself and agree with healthy eating and exercising! You are the real role models, being very thin, anorexia and starving is bad.
The one thing I always think about when people talk about the fold over flats and how handy they are when you are walking in uncomfortable heels: where do you put the heels when you're wearing the flats? Because the flats don't take much place when you're wearing your heels, but when you put on the flats you can't put your heels in your clutch right... d: so what do you do with them? Just hold them in your hand?
I think a big unhealthy habit is keeping old jeans that used to fit. When I was a teenager, I had minimal curves so I was a totally different size and there's a tendency to be like "oh they're so cute, I'll fit them again"... but realistically, if you've got fabulous hips and the like, it isn't gonna happen! It's about embracing being whatever shape you are NOW.
You are so correct about tight jeans cutting off circulation! I have been wearing skinny jeans for so long and even sleeping in them sometimes ... they have caused so many problems with my legs and knees. It is good to give yourself a break now and agian!
every tip is sport on very very helpful!! used to be so guilty for a fair few of the things you girls mentioned, managed to change some bad habits, still working on others.. what happens when you get too comfortable? I love heels but nowdays I only wear them when I absolutely have to and take them off as soon as I can.
***** I personally can't wear high heels. I will maybe wear a 2 1/2 in or 3 in heel at the most. Even then, I only wear them on the weekends to church or if I'm going to an event or something. I work in an orthodontist office so I'm on my feet pretty much all day. Thus, I wear work shoes.
Can you do a video on tips for breaking into the fashion industry? It's something that I'm really passionate about but I know it's super competitive. It'd be great if you could! Thanks!
jus discovered your channel and I love it!!!! I'm always looking for fashion tips and never can hear it enuff!!!! I believe health and being real is true beauty.....God bless u...
hi, love the collab! what fabrics would you consider better quality vs. something not so good quality? and what is a good way of carrying your heels in your bag without damaging them?
When it comes to sizes, I think it's important to just look how something fits, and not the number (which is basically what you said, Evelina). I think I've had clothes in my wardrobe from a size XS to a size M, all fitting me, but because different brands have different sizing and because of the fit, I was a different size. It's much more important to make sure you look nice (and can breathe), than only wearing a certain size.
😍😍😍😍loved this video and the tips were great and some good advices as well. I am the same way don't always get everything that is trending. Just for the simple reason that what looks good on somebody else will not fit or look good on me. I only really purchase things that I like and of course looks good with my body type. 😘
Evelina I am so looking forward to the ''materials'' video you once mentioned you might make...I hope you're still thinking about making it :) I am sure it would help a lot of people pick better quality items.
I'm so excited that you two did two videos together ^__^ Oh, and can you do a video on Clothing Fabrics (The 2nd unhealthy habit you talked about) I don't think people really know what fabrics to look for (myself included) ^__^
I have a question haha I can never last a night wearing heels so I am up for this idea of bringing flats with you especially fold up ones that can fit into your clutch or what not BUT once you change into them, what do you do with your heels? not exactly practical carrying around a massive pair of heels when on a night out or just walking around ahha
Rachel Castilho Li What one of my friends does is store them in her car. So she usually wears high heels all the time but if we're going to hang out, she will change into sneakers to drive and when we get to the destination, she'll put her shoes back on again and then when we leave, she'll change back into her sneakers/
Yes but its kind of hard wearing heels if you're insecure about being tall, Which a lot of tall girls are. I'm 5'11 and i love heels but i never wear them because i already feel out of place being taller than everyone else and heels would just make me feel even more gigantic and even more insecure.
Elizabel Marrero I agree, and women who are short will NEVER understand this issue, but keep going on about how wonderful it is to be tall, having long legs (which is only great if your body is proportionate), being like a model (again not all tall people look like a model), having all these opinions although they never tried it themselves. Having to tower over most men, not feeling very feminine, politely being turned down over your height, and being awkward in heels since it makes you stand out even more is not always fun. People are also scared to admit that yes while most men would like to date a Victoria's secret model, and some men have fetiches for tall women, most men prefer a woman who is smaller than themselves (This is a proven fact you can look it up) SO if you are indeed taller than the majority of men, being very tall is not always so fantastic.
Definitely guilty of wearing the wrong size! Thankfully I've gotten out of that, but it's so crucial to actually wear clothing in the proper size for you. The label is not important, the fit is :) Nothing will look better than the proper size for you!
So true about wearing things your size. I had a pair of size 3 jeans forever, but in the last few months, couldn't fit. I went and got a new pair from the same store in a size ... 7. And they look awesome and are much more flattering. Don't get hung up on a number :D
I love the video you've recorded. I think people should see that sometimes fashion is not healthy or confortable and style bloggers as you two are talking about this may get people realize about it.
Could you do a video sharing those name brands who tend to sell cheap material clothing for a really high price? Or would you prefer to avoid the name dropping?.... lol. Loved the video, great job ladies 💕
My unhealthy habit when I was 19 was looking up forums and stories of people who are doing limb lengthening surgery because I'm 5 ft and I always had this idea in my head that taller people are statistically more successful and exude confidence and command and somehow me being taller I would achieve all those traits. It was a thought that played in my mind over and over, I'd think of ways to save up money for it and go through pros and cons, luckily the cons outweighed the pros. It's very expensive and you will be out of work for a whole year and I didn't think I'd have enough money and I'd feel lonely sitting in hospital for a year waiting for my legs to grow and it's excruciatingly painful. Now that I'm 28 I feel much more confident in myself and found ways to look taller with styling techniques instead, I don't wear high heels unless it's a special occasion but yeah you just need to be comfortable in yourself and look at your strengths rather then focus on what you don't have.
Please do a video introducing about fabric, like what should we expect for the quality and price for a certain percentage of a kind of fabric!! Pleaseeeee
Evelina question : I am short skinny but have a huge butt . I'm trying the high waisted thing but always have a gap got open space in the back . Can we short people with big booties do the high waisted pant or should I just forget about it ..
I have this same problem. My best advice would be to either search for the perfect pair or have a nice pair tailored in at the waist. In a pinch a belt works.
Can you please please leave links to get your blazer and studded button-up? Love! ...And maybe do a tutorial on your nail polish with the inner circle in a contrasting color, if you don't mind? :)
my unhealthy habit is WITHOUT A DOUBT over thinking it. I always pick out my outfits for school the night before to make sure I have enough time. However, then I obsess over the details and end up wasting an absurd amount of time because I think I need to have a super cute and detailed outfit every day. I waste time AND stress myself out a lot. Give yourself a break!
Flats can be just as bad for you as heels, ballet pumps have no arch support as I switched from heels to flats now have aching legs constantly and it's turned out it's the flat loafers etc I wear so trying to switch it up and wear shoes with better support. Although I'm drawing the line at Mom shoes :)
Grace Jong The strap of the bag pulling your hair. It happened to me before: you put your handbag in your shoulder in a rush and the straps sits in some pieces of your hair; when you move your head it pull your hair. Ouch! D::
You both are so right. Especially on the wrong size part. I mean, I had to learn it myself, as I was a bit chubby and then I gained weight because of medicine... I had to learn that just because some clothes seem really outdated and huge, they might look fine and even tailored :). My additions: -stucking in a fashion rut when you yourself too feel that way -believing too much in magazines telling what size / body shape should wear what... first of all, no, for example, two chubby girls are the same kind of chubby. next, some magazines talk rubbish. For example, they say I should wear bootcut jeans because of my shape... yet skinny jeans (dark, no wash) look fab on me, but bootcut jeans look horrible because I'm short -wearing flimsy tights to every outfit... they might be elegant, but you won't look bad if you wear thicker ones... also, your feet would hurt less and they won't be that stinky (because no matter how great you wash your feet, a flimsy, thin pair of tights are going to make them sweat like crazy) -not wearing a beanie or a hat in the winter - I know, having your hair down is more stylish, but the cold can cause big time damage to your hair, like falling or getting weaker, and it could cause problems to your scalp, too... or, more generally, not dressing cold weather-proof enough (like wearing little coats / jackets ending above the waist in the coldest times) -styling / girling too much up on occasions like hiking... I kind of find that most people wouldn't praise you as a style goddess if you wore jewelry or a dressier skirt to an excursion, but they would laugh because these things are so defeating the purpose -packing for a trip not considering weather changes (and, at the same time, overpacking because you want to have several choices or packing for crazy scenarios like if you, accidentally, get invited to the city opera...)
Most of the models ARE skinny. Some maybe have to do an effort but the majority have this bodytype, and it is just that: a bodytype! I can't belive you guys said that about comparing with models, when Evelina is always complaining about she is short. She is short, so what! You don't have to wear heels or avoid flats because of the high. You should wear the shoes you like and the ones you feel comfortably. It is kind of hypocrite.
Great tips!!! I think my unhealthiest "fashion" habit is to just buy bigger clothes when my old clothes "get too small." I need to be better about owning up to the fact that I gained weight and working to loose that weight instead of immediately giving up. I've been working on losing weight since mid January and have lost 14Lbs and am fitting back into some of my old clothes again (finally!) Now I'm starting to wonder... if I keep this up will I have to buy new smaller clothes! ^_^ (not that smaller it better... I just felt that 200+ Lbs for someone my height was NOT healthy).
mnmmanning Silk, wool, cashmere, cotton, velvet, sateen, etc. are all good materials. Leather is a nice material too but one has to decide whether to wear real leather or vegan leather.
ok frankly, the first issue of purses, lots of us women/ moms.. NEED these things, & trust me, 90% of them are not our personal use, snacks, water, wet wipes, extra clothes for the kids...etc.. anyway, a solution is to keep them in the car vs carry them around, or pack 2 bags, one for your wallet & cell. & the other kids stuff, but always keep it in the stroller basket. lots of luv XX
Love the tips! You both are my go to fashion stylists! I'm always inspired by the both of you!
Great advice, ladies! Great STYLE is about adding personality to your look, not being a slave to the trends. :)))
evelina, i love how original and unique you and your style are. you aren't afraid to be yourself and you inspire me every single day!! xo
omg Evelina! You look so gorgeous as always!
I love you Evelina! Im so glad we got to collab together! Had so much fun filming this!! xoxo Chrielle
I love both of you, great collab! Perhaps speak up a lil more tho, Chriselle, it was a little hard to hear you! >< Love from singapore! x
Hannah Goh I think there was an issue with the microphone rather than her voice. :3
u r my idol oh my oh my oh my oh my! I even made a rhyme: Chrisselle Lim u r pretty and slim, don't eat my slim jim. heart heart swag swag
u girls look great
both r nice
AAAH!!! MY TWO FAVORITE BEAUTY GURUS DID A COLLAB!!!
Yay!
Evelina Thanx for letting me know Chriselle since u did that video
Hi evelina please answer this, where is you shoe displayer with the lights build in from? I have been looking everywhere on Ikea, but i could not find it!
nope BESTÅ Storage combination with doors found it!

Bethany Francia I only try on dresses and pants. My shirt/blouse size is usually pretty consistent.

Bethany Francia Ah... I see. Yeah, I know a couple of petite girls.
I loved this! Thanks girls haha we talk about fashion habits all the time in school at FIT!
I was nodding my head the entire time LOL. I agree with all of these points, I love that some issues were towards unhealthy habits with your body. Fashion does not mean sculpting your body to fit a dress, but making the best of your pieces and choosing what suits your body.
Chriselle and Evelina Together!! 8O I love this video!
It seems like Chriselle's mic isn't working as well? I have to amp up my volume to hear her clearly?
I was wondering too, her voice was really quite.
solusange Same here.
Great video! I especially love Evelina's explanation on why wearing tight clothes are bad.
Love the video, it shows that You and Chriselle are so normal. You don't follow fashion blindly, just to be fashion. You do it for yourself and agree with healthy eating and exercising! You are the real role models, being very thin, anorexia and starving is bad.
I love what Chriselle is wearing!

Can you make a video on high and low quality fabrics pleaseeeeee :)
That will be extremely helpful :D Please Evelina
My unhealthy habit is buying really cool, random unique things, and then going into my closet and saying "now what the heck do I wear this with?" lol.
Still buy the unique things but just make sure you have enough basics and layering pieces in neutral colors to coordinate it all together.
Can anyone else hear the buzzing sound in the background throughout the video?
Yeah I can.
I honestly think Evelina gets more beautiful every video she posts...she's literally stunning!
You are so correct about tight jeans cutting off circulation! I have been wearing skinny jeans for so long and even sleeping in them sometimes ... they have caused so many problems with my legs and knees. It is good to give yourself a break now and agian!
What is with the volume on this? I had my volume on 32 or something and I could barely hear Chriselle Lim. Is it my computer or something?
Same here
I've been waiting for this video for so long... Two of my favourite fashion UA-camrs love you evi!
i loved this video, it was so fun to watch yet really helpful
Great reminders for all of us fashion conscious people. Well done. You're both such beautiful women.

Yep, even in shoes... I fit some 10 in womans but my size is 11, and some 12 fit like an 11... It's about making sure you're comfortable :)
Could you possibly do a video on different fabrics!? I think it would be really helpful to get familiar with fabrics and what kind of quality they are
It's coming! I know I've been promising, but it's definitely coming!
My two favourite fashion gurus
😍😍😍😍loved this video and the tips were great and some good advices as well. I am the same way don't always get everything that is trending. Two of my all time favorite fashion guru!
Evelina I am so looking forward to the ''materials'' video you once mentioned you might make...I hope you're still thinking about making it :) I am sure it would help a lot of people pick better quality items.
these tips are amazing! love that you guys collaborated
I'm definitely guilty of carrying too much in my purse, the bigger the bag the more I carry. It's ridiculous! You 2 are great together.
this is such a good video!! literally telling my mom to stop using that super heavy bag omg D: love you guys! both of you look incredible!
Evelina, you look so cute i the video with this light makeup!
My left shoulder used to be a bit higher because of wearing bags on it :(
I'm so excited that you two did two videos together ^__^ Oh, and can you do a video on Clothing Fabrics (The 2nd unhealthy habit you talked about) I don't think people really know what fabrics to look for (myself included) ^__^

If I wasn't 6'1 I'd be guilty of only ever wearing heels. They make every outfit look so polished!
wear heels if you want! height shouldn't matter:)
Yes but its kind of hard wearing heels if you're insecure about being tall, Which a lot of tall girls are. I'm 5'11 and i love heels but i never wear them because i already feel out of place being taller than everyone else and heels would just make me feel even more gigantic and even more insecure.
What's wrong with being tall though? Alot of models are really tall and people usually envy height. Plus your legs are probably really nice and long!
People are also scared to admit that yes while most men would like to date a Victoria's secret model, and some men have fetiches for tall women, most men prefer a woman who is smaller than themselves (This is a proven fact you can look it up)
SO if you are indeed taller than the majority of men, being very tall is not always so fantastic.
+Amoroussparkle it is sometimes pretty sad being short. People think of you as younger and your opinion isn't relevant
Definitely guilty of wearing the wrong size! Thankfully I've gotten out of that, but it's so crucial to actually wear clothing in the proper size for you. The label is not important, the fit is :) Nothing will look better than the proper size for you!
Evelina's talking about birkenstocks, which i absolutely love!!! I think you should try them out, they're super comfy!!
Hey Evelina!!! Can you please do a video on what are some good quality fabrics and how much they worth?
Evelina where did you get your jacket????? OMG!!!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!!
very inspirational video. thank you evelina and chriselle.
Two of my favourite fashion gurus!!
Omg two my fav bloggers/youtubers😍😍😍
Omg I'm addicted to your videos!
Yes yes yes, my two favorites together!
AHHHHH! YOU TWO ARE MY FAVORITE PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!
*Two of my favourite fashionista UA-camrs*
My unhealthy habit when I was 19 was looking up forums and stories of people who are doing limb lengthening surgery because I'm 5 ft and I always had this idea in my head that taller people are statistically more successful and exude confidence and command and somehow me being taller I would achieve all those traits. Crisp and clean video... nicely styled! :) Thumbs up 4 sure & hope to see more!!!
Soooo awesome that both of my favorite youtubers are doing a video together. #Awesomesause
love that you use your cute little jingle!
i love both of your guys styles ,i loved your blazer and her patched jeans
Please do a video introducing about fabric, like what should we expect for the quality and price for a certain percentage of a kind of fabric!! Pleaseeeee
You at such an inspiration, Evelina, please don't ever change, I wish I could meet you one day!
OMG! I'm in love with your blazer!! Where did you get it pls?
I'm surprised by this collab vid. Love it :)
Remember 2 years ago when I told you guys to collaborate? AND NOW YOU ARE!

Since you guys were talking about fabric quality can you do a video on which fabric has a good quality and which doesn't?
So what are good quality fabrics? And what should we avoid? Please let us know~
Chris is a pro, she knows what she is talking about!
Great colab you girls are both amazing
I love the setup of this video :)
I love the collab!
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE YOU EVELINA
Flats can be just as bad for you as heels, ballet pumps have no arch support as I switched from heels to flats now have aching legs constantly and it's turned out it's the flat loafers etc I wear so trying to switch it up and wear shoes with better support. Nick Clorley I can't wear super flat shoes but I can't wear high heels either. I love flats but I try to go for ones with a little more arch support.
Just felt in love with Chriselle :) I will subscribe right away!! :)
LOVE LOVE your hair!
evelinaa... a looong time ago you said you'd do a video on fabrics. are you actually gonna make one?? that would be super helpful! Thanks :)
I carried a heavy backpack to uni so much my hair became uneven on one side!!
how does that even make sense?
Grace Jong The strap of the bag pulling your hair. It happened to me before: you put your handbag in your shoulder in a rush and the straps sits in some pieces of your hair; when you move your head it pull your hair. Ouch! D::

-styling / girling too much up on occasions like hiking... I kind of find that most people wouldn't praise you as a style goddess if you wore jewelry or a dressier skirt to an excursion, but they would laugh because these things are so defeating the purpose
-packing for a trip not considering weather changes (and, at the same time, overpacking because you want to have several choices or packing for crazy scenarios like if you, accidentally, get invited to the city opera...)
Omg I love your blazer Evelina! Where did you get it ? :D
This video is so insightful. Thanks guys :D
Love your blazer omg!
Oh my gosh Evelina I love your blazer!
Most of the models ARE skinny. Some maybe have to do an effort but the majority have this bodytype, and it is just that: a bodytype!

I can't stand when I hear people say items from f21 and h&m are "good quality". Great advice to check labels! Always a must! Great tips ladies!
Great video and all the tips were right on point
Great tips!!! I think my unhealthiest "fashion" habit is to just buy bigger clothes when my old clothes "get too small." I need to be better about owning up to the fact that I gained weight and working to loose that weight instead of immediately giving up. I've been working on losing weight since mid January and have lost 14Lbs and am fitting back into some of my old clothes again (finally!) Now I'm starting to wonder... if I keep this up will I have to buy new smaller clothes! ^_^ (not that smaller it better... I just felt that 200+ Lbs for someone my height was NOT healthy).
Great points you guys! Thank you for introducing me to Chriselle! Off to check her blog and youtube now!

Evelina I SERIOUSLY don't understand how you DON'T have like 4 million subscribers yet!! :)
can you do a video about what hit quality materials we should be looking for?
mnmmanning Silk, wool, cashmere, cotton, velvet, sateen, etc. are all good materials.
