My gripe is that the pliers appear to cam before they are fully open which spreads your handles too far open for anyone with a smaller hand to use where something like a Gerber MP600 or a Leatherman won’t do that. Still a sweet looking tool though and since I have huge hands the plier thing won’t bug me as much as it would bug most people I know
Good observations, I still need to check out the Ferber mp600, I like their center drive. This sog can cut some big gage wire if you have the hand size for it! For people with smaller hands a leatherman surge might be better for heavy plier use. Thanks for watching!
I constantly hear this about SOG mts, try reversing the handles when gripping something that spreads them out too far. I remember there was a lot of bitching online when the poweraccess droped out. I got it just to check out what was all the fuss about. I have to say I love that tool, the pliers are awesome, you can arrange it how ever you like, and I for what I use it, the knife is really neat (had this scalpel look that I like). SOG poweraccess is the tool I always got in my pocket. If only the PA Deluxe had a pocket clip ....
no it's not, that would have been a good idea though, the bit gets clamped in there when you squeeze the tool together. it's not perfect but it works in a pinch

You realize the sheath flash light holder isn't for that. It is for the bit kit.
Ignorant people doing tool "reviews" nowadays
Tacticool bro over here 😅
Very detailed review, excellent job my friend 💯
The little side pocket I’m pretty sure is for the bit kit
The "flashlight holder" on the side is where the bit kit is supposed to go. It's not supposed to go in the main pocket, which is why it's so tight
maybe that's how they designed it, but this is how I use it, that pocket is just HUGE for just the tool.
Why would sog use that side pocket with an open bottom for it to fall out of?
This is why we need the "thumbs down" option restored.
@@nicestrat You can thank Brandon for the removal of that option.
@@sturmgewehr70 exactly
not a flashlight holder my friend. holds the bit kit....
The bits go in the pocket on the side. Says it right on the box
That side pocket is for the bit kit

He said right that it is not a holder for bits, but for a flashlight. The bits are placed in the pocket with the tool. I'm doing it this way 😁
The side pouch is made for the bit kit
I use the can opener all the time. The tool as a whole is pretty damn good. SOG in my opinion is a excellent multitool.
The sheath is great!
Is the bit holder at the end of the tool magnetic?
no it's not, that would have been a good idea though, the bit gets clamped in there when you squeeze the tool together.
it's not perfect but it works in a pinch
It does have a magnet. Or at least mine did.
Yes. It has one round magnet on the side of the bit holder
Maybe a sog power access deluxe vs leatherman wave plus video would be nice ?
I'd pick the wave every time in that comparison!
Great review
That 5cr steel is nowhere near the edge retention of 420hc. You're thinking of 8cr13mov I believe.
If you had a taller bit tray the longer strap would be nice to have 🤔
What is the most common price of this tool in the United States?
интересный обзор, спасибо!
он по русски не гугу😉 я тоже никак не могу выбрать между этим и лазерменом😳
If you put some oil in there I don’t think they’d come out clumped together.
tool was already pretty oily, I had to wipe some off. I think some bushings would do the trick though
I think I will stick with my leatherman surge
Hard to go wrong with the surge!
Why you compare this to Surge? This is compact multitool. Surge is not!
Flashlight......that's for the bits, I'm done watching this review.
That’s what I use it for, the main pocket is so big it can hold the driver kit and Multitool
haahahahahaha right lols
Flashlight holder? Oh, dear...
Ignorance is bliss for sure 😊
I use serrated blades to saw some materials. So flex in any of the the tools is 👎🏻
Here to read comments from the leatherman cockriders didn’t take long lol.
