    Serena williams, glad to see you playing again. There's no one that can beat. You beat your self. Stay focus and positive. Keep your mind in the game. You got this!!!!!! Love you. You can do it. Go woman.

      You realize she plays Naomi in a semi match. And , I doubt if Naomi will cut her any slack. Naomi is a younger version of Serena. And, she may be the one which stands in the way of the record. It may be mind over matter. Yet, youth and fitness may be a gigantic factor in getting through to the final. Good luck Serena

    This Serena can win the Australian Open... The passion, the fashion, the attitude is back 😊 💪🏾

      I totally agree. This is the Serena of 2015/16. The one thing I've noticed is she's playing less defensively. Fewer defensive slice shots, she's getting to the ball that bit quicker to enable her to turn defensive into attack. In the recent few years I think the increased variation in her game although was beneficial has became a bit of a weakness. It allowed players up the court and to push her around more.

      I'm pissed that all the progression she made in her game at Yara Valley completely evaporated where it mattered (AO). 😔😔

    This is the Serena I fell in love with tennis for. The controlled aggression and easy power. It’s crazy how she’s almost two different players at once now either on ( like this) or off (like the AO SF)

      Yeah it's irritating to see her repeating the same mistakes again and again and again everytime she reaches a Grand Slam semi or final.

      @@forzacmo9069 Yes it is, but she’s started listening to her body now. And it shows very clearly. She’s lost a few pounds and, they’re charting everything she’s eating. And she’s going for balls that she was letting go, over the past couple of years. I knew if she worked on her body, she could win big matches. I have no doubt that she will win a Grand Slam in 2022, because she’s gonna keep doing her homework on her body. She didn’t have to worry in her earlier years, because she was younger and faster. But now I see REAL signs of the old Winning Serena!!

    This Serena is a legend. It is so unfortunate that America and Americans do not appreciate her to her true value. She is a treasure victim of her color.

      Exactly!! They had to revolutionize women’s tennis, because she was being cheated so terribly bad. If it wasn’t for Hawkeye, she definitely wouldn’t have won 23, even though it should be 24 Grand Slams, because of the one they took from her. The extra burdens she’s had to fight through would have caused other players to retire years ago.

    I doubt Serena could have beaten Margaret in the Australian open in the 60s! It was played in December and in Brisbane and Sydney a few times where the temperature gets to 100 plus! No heat rules! No night matches! No injury time outs! No tie breakers! That's why Margaret is the greatest!

    • @doksh5740

      I believe Serena in her prime time could beat Ms. Court easily, and several times.

    • @bryanmartin5901
      @bryanmartin5901 Рік тому +1

      LMFAO. Serena trained for decades in the Florida heat, where there isn’t just heat but also high humidity, unlike the dry desert air in most of Australia. If you think Maragaret Court, who only had to win 5 matches (not 7) for a large percentage of her “majors” would have any chance whatsoever against the immaculate serve, unmatchable power, explosive movement, and unprecedented mental strength of Serena, you may need help. Not to mention, Serena is a far greater champion given the adversity she and her family faced: racism, murder of her sister, no wealthy country club upbringing, and a father who never played tennis teaching them on the streets of Compton with a shopping cart of used balls and a pipe dream. Court is a distant memory who had every conceivable privilege, above all, only having to win 5 matches to win majors. Held to the same standard, Serena has won 40 grand slams, bc she made it past 5 matches at 40 grand slams. 40 > 24, or 23 > 11, are the true numbers. Now take a seat and go enjoy your slow game of wooden rackets and slice rallies at 45mph that go on for hours lol. So athletic and exciting…
