One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I use the Beans Pro and i think they've gotten way better with updates: -Touch controls are hard to press on accident -You can disable the touch controlls if you want to -Dank didn't mention this, they can automatically disable the noise blocking mode when it detects that someone is talking (I don't think he use the Wearable app and that's why)

The only things I've found that have done touch controls well are jlab wireless earbuds. Mainly because they have a spot shaped like a button cut they use touch controls so you don't have to push super hard on them and you get used to were the little logo spot where the controls are. I find it better than just putting them on a smooth unlabeled surface
I've got the same buds and yeah it's defo better than a smooth surface but personally I still can't get used to the touch controls after almost a year, I keep accidentally skipping to the next video while watching YT and I hate it... can't wait for my new cabled KZs to arrive!

The best part about buds pro is that samsung was adding them to EVERYTHING so now you can get unopened, second hand pair with warranty for dirt cheap. I've seen many for around 55-60$ and for that they seem like a crazy good deal

There's a "wind noise canceling" mode in the app, haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I can also say that the white version looks much better, far less obvious seams, and doesn't immediately obviously scratch. Just don't get the black ones. Personally, I moved from standard Airpods, and the case size genuinely doesn't bother me. I think they're honestly a great buy, not to mention I got them new for less than $200 CAD.
Samsung Buds + touch controls for me are "okaaayye". Dropped one of those suckers in the sink and it went down the drain pipe. I thought it was a goner. Opened up the drain pipe, retrieved the lost boy, washed him, sanitized him. Still works like a charm. Have dropped them almost a 100 times (because I was not using the shark finny rubber sealies, but normal ones) on the tarmac and in the pavement. No visible scratches whatsoever. Overall impressive.

I bought the pros because of this video, and I adore the noise canceling. I can just barely hear the full blast of my van's AC, it's not even noticeable after you turn on the music. I listen to the music on a considerably lower volume, and my ears are doing great.
Yep, i got them gifted to me and tbh they’re the best thing i’ve ever had. I have a loud roommate and i’m in college, putting these on with some music completely drowns anything out, and my roommate is a singer.. it’s pricey but absolutely worth it.

M for 2019. 85 for series and model within that series. 00 for modifications (in this case none I guess). P for Europe. L for DBV-T support. A refers to the design. No clue about the test. My issue is that it's still way too convoluted. I am pretty good when it comes to tech but I just don't want to deal with that... Just call it "LG Nano Cell *insert model number here*". Done.
As a former intern at the Design Verification department for a company that made blood glucose monitors, I can tell you that product literature only goes through one round of checking before it goes to the prints. It gets written then immediately handed to the design verification (or quality control) department to check for grammatical errors, then we see how much heat it takes to light the paper on fire. Basically no one actually gives a shit about the instruction/warning booklets in your products. As long as the right stuff is in there to keep the company from getting sued that is!

I have never once looked at the owner's manual, other than for my motherboard and digital piano, which were both actually surprisingly helpful and useful. As someone who bought the Sonys about the time this video was released, I’m super happy with them. I’ve never used the other two. However, that bigger case means I almost never have to charge them. I wanted a bit more audio fidelity than I assumed the AirPod pros would give me and I’ve NEVER had a good experience with apple’s headphones in the past. Also, in that call example, the Sony’s absolutely had the clearest voice quality with the exception of them fading at the end. But I’m assuming the others are still decent.

I always laugh at the freakout about case size. People really can't stand a bit of size. I freak out constantly about losing things (anxiety issues) so I like a bit of feel that the thing is in my pocket. I use to rarely get cases for my phones, but most modern phones are so thin and slick I buy a case that gives them a bit of thickness and chunky to grip almost immediately upon buying a phone. I also can't do bud style headphones, so I always have over the head headphones, so the smallest I ever get is foldable set and they don't fit in my pocket anyways. I obviously don't want something the size of a house phone in my pocket, but the thin slick people seem to want I mostly hate. So every time someone freaks out about the size of a buds case I'm like 'is it really that big of a deal?'
Touch controls on headphones are amazing when they work. I have the whxm4s and their controls are pretty nice. If you think you are stumbling blindly you might wanna go visit a doctor.... There is something called proprioception. It lets you locate your body accurately in space without looking. For example, a normal healthy person could touch the tip of their nose, or their elbows with one finger pretty easily and accurately with their eyes closed.
honestly, if you're interested in neat earbuds with good sound quality and GOOD TOUCH CONTROLS, which is fucking insane, try the pixel buds. the second gen ones, not the shit first gen. actually, get both so you can laugh at the first gen.

I have the Sony's and yeah it's been dumb sometimes, when it's raining and the wet hood of my jacket or my wet hair touches then it triggers the touch controls. Thankfully you can just turn them off via the app or make even the basic actions a triple tap so it's much less likely to happen accidentally.

It's why it got better reviews for noise canceling in most reviews. It's not intuitive in the app as you just move the slider one tick from absolute noise canceling and there you are at the wind noise cancelling setting. Personally since I work indoors I keep it on the max noise cancelling but when I'm outdoors I actually switch it to a half-n-half setting since I still want a tiny bit of ambient sound.
its a different mode, I guess its to prevent people from walking around with the insane noise cancelling in traffic because you CANNOT hear ANYTHING, someone can literally be screaming and all you hear is your music its insane

@@simplybeanjelly It's a slider for noise cancelling intensity, and the wind cancelling can be accessed by reducing the intensity slightly from full. It'd be very clunky to control this without an app.
You could literally have it integrated in the left touchpad. It already cycles between NC->Ambient->All Off, so why not make it go NC->Wind->Ambient->Off

If you want to find pants that do manage to conform to your body, then you have to deal with the concept of ball space, and the fact no designer can compensate for a guys dick when making pants. So then instead of a pendulum for a pocket, you have a vacuum sealed package for your package.

The only things I've found that have done touch controls well are jlab wireless earbuds. Mainly because they have a spot shaped like a button cut they use touch controls so you don't have to push super hard on them and you get used to were the little logo spot where the controls are. I find it better than just putting them on a smooth unlabeled surface
I've got the same buds and yeah it's defo better than a smooth surface but personally I still can't get used to the touch controls after almost a year, I keep accidentally skipping to the next video while watching YT and I hate it... can't wait for my new cabled KZs to arrive!

There's a "wind noise canceling" mode in the app, haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I can also say that the white version looks much better, far less obvious seams, and doesn't immediately obviously scratch. Just don't get the black ones.
Personally, I moved from standard Airpods, and the case size genuinely doesn't bother me. I think they're honestly a great buy, not to mention I got them new for less than $200 CAD.

Samsung Buds + touch controls for me are "okaaayye". Dropped one of those suckers in the sink and it went down the drain pipe. I thought it was a goner. Opened up the drain pipe, retrieved the lost boy, washed him, sanitized him. Still works like a charm. Have dropped them almost a 100 times (because I was not using the shark finny rubber sealies, but normal ones) on the tarmac and in the pavement. No visible scratches whatsoever. Overall impressive.
Yes noticed they are very durable. Dropped mine on concrete floor a few times. Still look and work like new. Awesome build quality.

I bought the pros because of this video, and I adore the noise canceling. I can just barely hear the full blast of my van's AC, it's not even noticeable after you turn on the music. I listen to the music on a considerably lower volume, and my ears are doing great.

As a former intern at the Design Verification department for a company that made blood glucose monitors, I can tell you that product literature only goes through one round of checking before it goes to the prints. It gets written then immediately handed to the design verification (or quality control) department to check for grammatical errors, then we see how much heat it takes to light the paper on fire. Basically no one actually gives a shit about the instruction/warning booklets in your products. As long as the right stuff is in there to keep the company from getting sued that is!

I have never once looked at the owner's manual, other than for my motherboard and digital piano, which were both actually surprisingly helpful and useful. As someone who bought the Sonys about the time this video was released, I’m super happy with them. I’ve never used the other two. However, that bigger case means I almost never have to charge them. I wanted a bit more audio fidelity than I assumed the AirPod pros would give me and I’ve NEVER had a good experience with apple’s headphones in the past.
Also, in that call example, the Sony’s absolutely had the clearest voice quality with the exception of them fading at the end. But I’m assuming the others are still decent.

I always laugh at the freakout about case size. People really can't stand a bit of size. I freak out constantly about losing things (anxiety issues) so I like a bit of feel that the thing is in my pocket. I use to rarely get cases for my phones, but most modern phones are so thin and slick I buy a case that gives them a bit of thickness and chunky to grip almost immediately upon buying a phone. I also can't do bud style headphones, so I always have over the head headphones, so the smallest I ever get is foldable set and they don't fit in my pocket anyways. I obviously don't want something the size of a house phone in my pocket, but the thin slick people seem to want I mostly hate. So every time someone freaks out about the size of a buds case I'm like 'is it really that big of a deal?'

Touch controls on headphones are amazing when they work. I have the whxm4s and their controls are pretty nice. If you think you are stumbling blindly you might wanna go visit a doctor.... There is something called proprioception. It lets you locate your body accurately in space without looking. For example, a normal healthy person could touch the tip of their nose, or their elbows with one finger pretty easily and accurately with their eyes closed.

I have the Sony's and yeah it's been dumb sometimes, when it's raining and the wet hood of my jacket or my wet hair touches then it triggers the touch controls. Thankfully you can just turn them off via the app or make even the basic actions a triple tap so it's much less likely to happen accidentally.

@@alinayossimouse Because it is technically better noise canceling for literally every situation but wind noise ( basically speaking). It's why it got better reviews for noise canceling in most reviews. It's not intuitive in the app as you just move the slider one tick from absolute noise canceling and there you are at the wind noise cancelling setting.
Personally since I work indoors I keep it on the max noise cancelling but when I'm outdoors I actually switch it to a half-n-half setting since I still want a tiny bit of ambient sound.
