- Today I'm using Magical Leaf Victreebel, the new Community Day Pokemon in Pokemon GO! Magical Leaf gives amazing energy gain while also having decent damage in GO Battle League. I created the core of Dewgong and Victreebel while having a Close Combat Annihilape Safe Swap for the Great League!

Your opponent with Ferrothorn and Furfrou. I came in with Azu on your Dewgong cuz I knew the team you’re running (Jonkus showcased it that day) and I tried avoiding my Azu being aligned with Vic

what does ABA and ABB mean?
Aba would be like flyer/counter user/flyer ABB would be like Counter User/Flyer/Flyer.. but in this case Vic and Ape aren’t exactly the same but have some of the same resistances but the ape safe swap is used to draw out any potential flyers so that Vic can avoid it in the back!

i have seen a ton of altaria, so dewgong feels good
Not building up to the nuke move is a mistake I also do from time to time.
Or even overfarm more, if you knwo you are stuck and are going to shield anyway.

I'd been using dewgong, serperior, annihilape for a while and doing great. Was wondering why i kept running into counter leads all day yesterday.

A flying weakness
Both weak to flying, which dewgone does well against. Annihilape safe swap baits out the flyer 9/10 times and lets victreebel sweep (ABB 🤝)
Wish I had a elite fast move tm because I have a rack 8 shadow for great league

I tried running this team and kept getting smoked by Skarmory...
If on the lead you prob just stay in with Dewgong then align the ape with it.. that should free up Vic in the back

Are IVs that important? Besides for master league
Honestly I don’t think they matter as much in the lower leagues BUT they are definitely nice to have. I love winning mirrors due to better ivs :)

@imelliottep probably a mixed bag. Some will definitely do better with an attack weight.
