I remember my former therapist and good friend Paul Pines going down to NYC for the memorial plate in the sidewalk for The Tin Palace. He unfortunately passed due to cancer in 2017 (?). I would have loved to have gone but the music might have been a bit over my head too. He also curated the Lake George Jazz Fest for 35 years. His "Last Call At The Tin Palace" is a good read.
