Hey everyone. I’ve been seeing the requests and I thought it was time to go ahead with it.

Love your enthusiasm. Seeing you fish with your dad brings back memories of my dad teaching me about fishing and all the good times we had, he introduced me to the sport and I've been hooked ever since. I miss him dearly, those are the days that live on in my treasured memories when I fish now. Happiness to you and your dad Josh, thanks for sharing.

@@Mark-ew5jm yes it’s a ongoing issue. I report every time but they keep coming back. Happens to most UA-camrs..
Was going to say its about time for dad to make an appearance.
Mate the best advice I can give you for fly casting is to focus more on your hauling arm than your casting one. A good cast comes more from a well timed single/double haul, the rod is just there for loading up the action to get that final flick out.

Fly tackle! I just did an intro session with some awesome people in portland a couple weeks ago. I found the technique a bit mesmerising - plenty to finesse and perfect, but very natural. Keep up the content man you're outstanding.

Was enjoying chasing EP's around my local many years back.. Got a few i thought were healthy models around 45cm, took the pics up to my mate who owned tackle world and was shown a photo of a perch well over 60cm and allegedly went well over 5kg! Would never have believed it without the pic, what a great sports fish the enigmatic EP's are.. Tight lines fella, good content as always

Name a reason someone buys a jetski that isn’t to hoon around and do waves and stuff.
One of those kids is my mate. And there was no one around.
Don’t encourage them to be hoons but I’m also not there parents. Kids don’t ride skis these days for the hell of it. They wanna do it for tricks and going fast!

Hi josh don’t know if you will respond to this but I am just starting off on lures, what would you recommend?
Go a 3 inch zman minnow for the flathead. Put it on a 1/8th jighead size 2 hook👌🏼

I’m 20
Your whipping your fly rod back and forth way to fast you need to wait for your fly to fully extended behind you then throw it forward your cast will be a lot better
I’m fishing it with a fern hill behind me. Sticks at my feet and tress above… moving it fast for a reason. Legit can’t afford to let it straighten out
@@joshdfishing that's when you should get familiar with the roll cast it is perfect in those conditions
so sick to see you get into fly fishing. if you work on the timing and not moving your rod too far back and forth your casting will become alot smoother an youl be able to cast further. also double hauling helps with distance alot.
I don’t usually cast like that. I had tress above me. Also a hill behind me. Ferns and sticks on the ground plus snags in front of me.
