Just purchased the game a few hours ago because it was on sale in my region - and I gotta say, those are some the most well-spent 2 bucks of my life (as over the top as it may sound). I love how elegant it is in its simplicity and the different palettes, while not ground-breaking, are really pretty and sort of add a method of personalization. Definitely a game I'll sink more hours into in the future. It's nice to know there's someone out there in the wide realms of UA-cam who devotes themselves to the Eshop's hidden gems instead of the "run-of-the-mill" triple A games. Keep up the great work ✌️
Thanks JJ! Welcome to the BGC, and please feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions. We've covered a lot of games so far, and are putting out reviews every Monday and Friday. 😁
I GET ALL THE CREDIT!!! Lol!!! JK 😂 The dev did a great job here, and I'm really happy I got the opportunity to show it off to you guys. I got that opportunity by purchasing the game, but whatevers, totally worth the price in my opinion. 😂
Nooo!!! I misread the contract! I though it said I was to review "Siralim" in 2 or 3 weeks... well, there goes my souls. 😩 (Not that I was really using it or anything)
Budget Gamer hahahahaha! All good brother. You do whatever you want man. I just haven’t stopped by in a little while and figured I’d make another awkward and random joke to brighten at least one person’s day. Great review BTW. I just bought this game 90sec ago on PSN because if this review. Much appreciated 👍
Haha! Love it. I hope you enjoy the game buddy. And seriously, thanks for the reminder. 😅 It's hard to keep my days straight, much less hundreds of games. 😂
This actually looks like a lot of fun. Hard as nails and all that. Reminds me of Galak-Z to a degree and makes me want to check out the source game for Null Drifter. However, I did just pick up Galak-Z and will have to wait for this and its parent game to go on sale. Assuming I'm still into these games after Galak-Z, that is. As usual, thanks for the review and see you Friday (for real this time. Ha!).
Just found your channel and love the content! You're one of the few reviewers actually covering some of the small Indies I've been curious about. Any chance you could review Siralim 3 down the road some time? It's a Pokemon/Dragon Quest Monsters type game that has done well on steam but no one is talking about it on switch.
Hey Nathan, welcome to the channel! It's all about the indies here. 😄 Several fans have asked me about Siralim, so I think I may be covering it soon. 😎👍 Thanks for the suggestion.
Love the art style on this, reminds me of playing Asteroids on my Game Boy back in the day. But this game looks like it would kick my arse, I don't particularly enjoy games that stress me out too much. Thanks for the review though, fantastic job as always. :D
Thanks so much FlameWheel! I totally get that. Typically I'm the kind of gamer who wants to relax, not rage, but there are those few who love to rage in order to relax. Lol!
Oh, totally! I'll see if I can find my original sound file that I used to make it. If you send me an email to Budgetgam3r@gmail.com, I can send it to you. 😎👍 I get a lot of traffic to that address, so just remind me about the sound file in the email. 😉
Thanks for the review. I think this is a pass for me. Looking at your footage, it seems too confusing, too hectic... I don't know. I'm guessing it's just not for me. Saludos
It starts off pretty slow, kinda 1 enemy at a time... but after you've played it for a few hours, the game just assumes you're a god at bullet hells and let's you have it. Haha! 😂 I'm only sort of joking. It does get intense, but its pretty fair in the difficulty curve, considering the power-ups. But, bullet hells are a niche genre, so I totally get taking a pass. 😉
@@BudgetGamerChannel Yeah, bullet hells aren't really for me either. The only game with BH elements that I've really loved was Enter the Gungeon. And that's one of the most frustrating games I've ever played lol.
Yeah, I'm the same. The only game in this genre I absolutely loved was an old coin-op game from the '70s called, Space Wars, an asteroid meets Star Trek game. I remember playing the same 5 minute game loop one night with a buddy of mine from something like 6-7 PM till Dawn the next morning with only breaks for food and restrooms. Ha! Good times.

Wow! Your comment totally just made my day. Happy you're loving the game, and im happy keep covering little gems like these. 😁👍
I just found this channel and just wanted to say your videos are fantastic for fans of indie games! Keep up the great work

Man...this game looks like a ZILLION PERCENT my jam, and I had never heard of it! Yet another one I have to thank you for showcasing!
You got it buddy! Happy I got to show it off. 😊
I bought it on my Switch a half hour ago, because of this review ;) now I‘ll go back to it :D

Wonderful review as always Sir.
Dude! Thanks so much for the comment. 😁
Was the sweater an attempt to mimic a bomber jacket?
Good review. Keep up the good work!
Not really. Though I do have one I could wear... 🤔
It was just an old fleece I was using to try to help the color balance. 😅
Suuuuper happy that he promised AND signed a blood contract that he would review siralim 2 or 3 this week...

Nice Review, this reminds me of Asteroids with the Gato Roboto style of graphics which is a good thing :D
It does! Hahah! I love the look honestly. This, gato roboto, and Grizzland are at the top of my list for reto gaming.
@@BudgetGamerChannel haven't tried Grizzland yet. I'm really liking Minit as well though.
Reminds me of the stuff I played as a teen
Added to the wish list.
Get it while it's on sale! 😱

Loved thanks for the review, asteroid with steroids nice review 😊
Hahah! That's a great description. 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed the review.
I like these throwback games people are making. I just wish they made a lot more snes era throwbacks xD
Right!? I need me some solid 32bit JRPGs on the Switch.

You unlocked a chicken nugget. 1:32 🤣
And I unlocked "pants" a few runs later. ...turns out pants was my preferred palette. Who knew? 😂
@@BudgetGamerChannel oh man that's funny.
It fits the retro look for sure. Cool little game. Have you ever done Tesla vs Lovecraft?
I have not. Is it good?
Budget Gamer it looks great and otters have given it good marks. As wondering if you had it because you are someone’s take I put Value in.
Awww man....when you put it like that... I guess I have to review it. 😂😅
Budget Gamer you do not have to by any means. Lol! Just take comfort in the good work you are doing.
I really like the developer of this game. Out of his games so far my favourite is Red Death, i will give this a try.
Red Death huh? I'm guessing that one's on Steam? Dont think I've heard of it. 🤔
This looks hectic but for $5 maybe I’ll check it out!
I think it might still be on sale for around $2.
Good luck!
BudgetGamer, home ofthe pristine like ratio
Haha! I do what I can. 😉
Another great review, game doesn’t look bad, not my style so I’ll pass for now but I’m glad you are back onto good games, for your sake haha
Hahaha! It certainly helps the moral to have the eShop throw me a bone every now and again. 🤭
what a bonkers looking game
It gets pretty intense 😅
But it's a pretty fun challenge.
Is your hair in a ponytail or gone?
P.S. I had very long hair for many years!
Don't worry, you can see his ponytail a few times during the video 👍🏻
@@KnightTemplar1977 I was a little worried 😁
Hahah! You guys are killin' me! 😂😂😂
It's just pulled back for the video. 😆
Budget gamer I would love to have that coin sound on your video intro as my text tone, any way you can help me out?
Thanks & keep up the good work

I'm no good at those either. I want to be... But I'm not. LOL.

A roguelite arcade then. Not my cup of tea.
