  • Join us for a virtual event titled “Stories of (Climate) Resilience,” kicking off our celebrations of the International Day of the Midwife, on Friday, May 3rd, from 12 to 1 PM CET. Celebrating midwives as a vital climate solution, this hour-long session offers an exploration of midwives’ crucial role in addressing climate-related challenges.
During this event, you’ll hear from diverse midwives who have worked on the frontlines of climate-related crises, such as extreme heat, drought, flood, and fire. Learn how these resilient midwives empower their communities and inspire others to take action in addressing the climate crisis.
We will also screen “Neha,” a short documentary showcasing Neha Mankani’s remarkable work taking maternal and newborn health services to communities affected by floods in Pakistan. This powerful film highlights the resilience of midwives and their invaluable contributions to communities in crisis.
Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate midwives and their resilience in the face of climate challenges.
