Related completely!! In a relationship since January. Number one It’s long distance making hard in itself, number 2 his approaches with me when voicing my opinions is met with psycho analysis( psych major) and not of a supportive partner. I feel silenced because he talks over me and interrupts when I’m talking or tries and continues to sway / course correct my opinion to be in agreement with him. Had a falling out yesterday and he called me a disappointment because I caught an “attitude and was rude”, when all I was being was passionate about a discussion over the Cassie vs Diddy video and how I viewed him in all aspects now that the video confirmed his character. He continued saying that he deserves the benefit of the doubt and needs to be innocent until proven guilty about all other rumors not concerning that video. I stood my ground and he saw it as defiant ( called me rude and was disappointed) he continued to say that because he is studying Psychology ( invalidating my opinion) he knows what he is talking about. I said, “ I believe he is far beyond help”. He said, “Who are you to say if he deserves help”
I know with this clarity, my head and intuition agree that I need to get the hell out of dodge. A person that says that wants to build a life story(24 hours before this) with you, doesn’t disregard or silence your voice even if you have a difference of opinion over something so insignificant as a trending celebrity issue. The deep rooted issue came to light and its not going to be part of my life story. Thank you for further confirming @autisticmystic
