The Tulendeena to Scottsdale RT .North East Tasmania. 26 km at this stage. 16 km through bush down hill 1 in 47 grade to the Great Forester River then 10 km farm land mostly. Will be extended to Lilydale and possible Launceston.

The railway will be converted to RT another 40km to Lillydale and most likely all the way to Launceston. There is talk of a RT camp hub one day at Denison Gorge and conservation of 6 km railway for short heritage steam train to work with the RT to Lebrina cafe hub. In planning stage.
Sounds great, I get down to Tassie at least two or three times a year, I'll try to fit it into my one of my trips, my mum and sister both live there, and my sister cycles a lot of trails, maybe she knows it.
@@erikekdahl6233 no worries. A couple of interesting well made UA-cam films made by Jeff Jennings on Denison Gorge including drone work and riding Tulendeena to Scottsdale.
Great video, I will add to my list. How did you get to Stratford? Does that have a train station? (Noting you were on the train at the end in Traralgon)
Thankyou 🙂 Yes Stratford also has a train station, I caught the train there in the morning and then got the train home from Traralgon, I found it easier to do it that way because there are more frequent trains from Traralgon, since it can be a bit difficult to guess what time you are going to get to the other end of a rail trail.
@@k.whiking4372 on this trip it took me a bit under 5, hours, it's always a bit longer when I'm making a video though, you can probably do it quicker than that. I've ridden it twice, the surface was quite loose gravel both times which was slow to ride on, but I think that can depend on the weather at the time.
Another trail on my list! Thanks for sharing mate!

Thanks for spending time doing this. Really enjoyed it.
It's my pleasure, I can't wait for Victoria to open up again so I can do some more.
