I always wished for a tetris attack tournament when I was a kid. I was only 4 when the game came out but I sucked at it but I loved it so much a year later I was beating very hard mode. Oh the memories.
ZSNES does a very good job of emulating processor lag, actually. Snes9x is playable via kaillera in snes9k, but it desyncs almost every session you play. ZSNES is definitely, currently the best option.
I'm noticing that the winner usually employs defensive chains as a matter of course in these tournaments. I'm also noticing that I would fall to these gamers in minutes.
zsnes 1.42 is the latest version that supports netplay, but it has some issues in Tetris Attack with sound. Notes stick ON and play forever. 1.36 is the most recent stable-netplay release without that problem.

The thing is that after I lost the disc and the time passed, I lost practice, and I haven't been able to adapt to play on computer. I got used a lot to the PS2 controller (because I used to play it on a disc that had a lot of games of this type) ;u;
I know what to do now, thanks to another user on Hamachi, but I do have one question though. Is the 1.36 version of Zsnes the only one you can use to netplay with other people or can I use any version?

Alright, so I downloaded the program, but have yet to figure out how to use it, let alone play some Tetris Attack. So how do I get the ball rolling? Been waiting a long time to beat up on some folks in this game lol
So this is played on an emulator? I noticed something was off. The music is skippy and the tuning is different with a lot of dissonance. The trumpets don't last as long. The drop sound is different. Do you just play on a keyboard? Seems like it would give people with fancy ergonomic keyboards an unfair advantage. But good job, I'd rather just stick to my ol' Super Nintendo.

It's possible! You can play with friends. Install the Hamachi Server. And you have to use the ZNES 1.42 version. Easy to find on Internet. So many tutorials explain how to do.

How can we play tho?? I have the actual console too... And the max i done is like 29 chain. And i lasted like 35 mins in one battle

Yeah, the sounds aren't just right in the emulator. Some play on keyboard. I use a USB controller.

Why not lv10 vs lv10? I think it's the only true way to play vs.

Is ZSnes the only option? It doesn't even try to emulate lag properly, Snes9x is a much more accurate emulator

This game was played on level 5. Very forgiving, makes rounds take too long. These days, most of us play level 10
