Richard, you know it all comes down to money. They do a mile of rail trail and it’s probably a $4 million project. I can’t understand why it cost so much for towns or cities to do anything I can guarantee you before they could even start. It would need $100-$200,000 study
Hey Richard. It is to be 78 degrees today. I must get out and ride and take advantage of such nice weather. I am currently waiting on the plumber. I hope he gets here soon.
Nice video Richard. We have a number of trails and bike lanes in our town. Its better than most towns I've ridden in. I want one of those nifty Rip 1 water bottles. How do I order one? Thanks so much Richard.
I live in Columbia, SC and riding an eBike here is dangerous. Vehicles just want you off the road and not in their way and you have to drive very defensively here. I went to North Augusta, SC and road around there. I had cars stop for me, yield for me even when they didn't have to, wave at me, stop to talk to me about my eBike, and generally be very friendly toward me and my eBike. Man what a difference an eBike friendly town makes. It really makes me want to move.
I was offered a set of tires about a month to a month and a half ago. I turned it down. I probably turn down 3 to 4 offers a week. I would’ve been interested in the tires, but they were all cheap tires. I didn’t want to downgrade one of my bikes. 🤪
My area will have a narrow Blake lane, then it disappears! I don’t know I’d it’s wide enough for a Mooncool trike. I like Magicycle and wish they would make a trike. Do you know I’d they have one. I love horses and am glad to visit them with you❤️🐎
We bought e-bikes finally. Haven’t ridden much. I have an Engwe Pro L2.0. Can’t figure out how to set each PAS, has 8 speed and 5 PAS. Wondering if I can bypass the speed limit on it. Thanks for the journey and maybe you or someone can explain to a 71 yr old woman how to set those speeds. Thanks Pat! @GaryEbikeAdventures too.💫🚴❤️🇺🇸
Hiya, on one of your videos you had a bike tool for turning your hex bits. It was either battery operated or maybe electric? What is the name of that tool?
Bike lanes mean nothing unless drivers respect them, I've seen plenty of cars ignoring such lanes and just driving on them. Or they will veer off by being distracted on their phones.
My "town" is not e bike, reg bike or anything else friendly. To most drivers, we're just annoying mosquitoes buzzing along, taking sections of their blessed roads away from them. It's complicated.
My area is e-bike friendly, but that's not saying much. I can go weeks without seeing another e-bike, and I ride every day. When I do the riders are old and slow, except for myself. I refuse to consider myself old and I'm definitely not slow. No kids on Surrons or Wired Freedoms.
Great job helping Ms. Pat!

Rail Trail would be outstanding!
lol ya we have very few bike lanes, but we do have some nice bike paths.
Same here don't need those heavy duty locks here yet. I've forgotten my lock a few times at my job and no-one messed with it.
Great job! Great video!

Cool water bottle!
Funny, I have all the trails I could want but I love watching you ride the country roads. Great video Rich

I very rarely see any bicycles or ebikes in our town. I do see them here at our lake community and once in awhile on the country backroads.

nice grats on getting the tires!

@@moonlightfeatherb it was ryobi. I wouldn’t recommend it because it has 0 torque. Only good for running screws in or out.
